The Xbox One S Unboxing Experience: A Minecraft Edition with Style

As I carefully lifted the flap on my new Xbox One S, I was greeted by an unexpected surprise - the console's branding featured a grass pattern against a green background. This attention to detail is evident throughout the packaging, which not only features a grass design but also includes various other elements such as a power cable, HDMI cable, and a Creeper-shaped controller.

The controller itself is where things really get interesting. The first thing I noticed was the font style used on the face buttons, which closely resembles Minecraft's classic aesthetic. While Microsoft Xbox has always been known for its sleek designs, this particular element takes it to a whole new level. However, my only complaint about the controller at this point is that it still uses regular double-A batteries - a feature that I've seen all too often in gaming peripherals.

Moving on to the back of the controller, where the battery compartment is located, I was delighted to see a TNT logo printed onto the surface. This not only adds to the overall aesthetic but also serves as a subtle nod to Minecraft's iconic branding. The overall design of the controller feels solid and premium, which is no surprise given Microsoft's reputation for producing high-quality gaming hardware.

Of course, the true star of the show is the Xbox One S itself. As I carefully removed it from its packaging, I couldn't help but notice how beautifully designed the console looks - especially when standing upright on its included stand. The design elements are all present and accounted for, including a USB port on the front and plenty of I/O ports on the back, as well as an optical drive.

As I continued to explore my Xbox One S, I came across a small surprise in the form of download codes - one of which was for Minecraft itself. Since I already have the game, I decided to gift it to my viewers, who can grab it via the first-come-first-served system I've set up on my Twitch channel. Additionally, Microsoft has seen fit to include an Xbox Game Pass subscription with this bundle, which is a generous bonus.

But wait - there's more! My unboxing also includes a Pig Controller that looks simply adorable. It's clear that Microsoft has put a lot of thought into designing the packaging for this console, from the grassy background on the main flap to the subtle TNT logo on the controller. Even the font used on the face buttons is reminiscent of Minecraft's classic style, which is sure to bring a smile to fans of the game.

fan i've gone through my minecraft phases on the mac and xbox one or xbox 360. all right so either way i've been through my minecraft phases several times and i've taken a break since then and recently i got into stardew valley on the switch and the ps4 great game but it reminds me so much of minecraft from the graphics to the menu system to the crafting system wow that's a little different there are obviously some similarities there i just need some minecraft in my life so what better way to reintroduce minecraft than to buy a 400 console so this is gonna be a lot of fun but before i unbox this let's go through my history of xbox one unboxings rolls eclipse happy xbox one day here it is xbox one day one edition with two games four to five motorsports very reflective as well as dead rising three both day one editions i am so glad the day is finally here let's unbox the xbox one again i suppose it's been about a year since i've unboxed an xbox one so why not unbox another so there you go i mean it's pretty safe to say i have an addiction i have an obsession with microsoft's xbox one console designs i just think they're fantastic and in my opinion sony can take a page from microsoft's book and up the value come on come out with more ps4 designs up the value in our ps4 fandom i guess you could say and honestly that means a lot coming for me because as much as i love the xbox one designs well i'll let it go i play my ps4 a lot more than my xbox one mainly because the crew is on there that's who i play games with pretty much nightly now but this is going to be awesome and this is actually going to be my new streaming xbox one s so eventually this is going to go in this room but for the time being it's going to go in my living room then when the xbox one x comes out next month that's going to go in there and this is going to go in here and become part of my streaming setup for twitch.tv slash david franco so basically i'm gonna be streaming on two different systems in this room my gaming pc which i'm gonna start building next month and my xbox one s and of course i'm gonna continue to stream on my ps4 in the living room why not have the option all right why not discount a hundred dollars on this and it only cost me about three hundred 300 still a lot of money considering i have xbox one s already in my possession but guys you know what that's not something else it comes with some kind of minecraft uh add-on some kind of dlc i think i will look into that in a second so upon the opening of the main flap you get this xbox one s branding against vertically which i will be doing actually on this desk but the desk is going to be over there by the time i get it set up with my pc and we also have the download codes so this is for minecraft boom which i think i already have so if i have that i might just give this version away to you guys and of course i'll let you know here we go the redstone pack this i have not used yet all right so this i designs i've ever seen in my life got the xbox button right there the power button optical drive usb on the front and there should be usb on the side or maybe not on this one that's my other xbox and on the back we have plenty of i o power hdmi out hdmi in two usbs ir out and optical audio as well as ethernet so very cool this is going to be a lot of fun let's take this tape off boom there you go
