The JBL Go 3: A Major Upgrade at an Unbeatable Price

I recently spent $40 on an iPhone silicone back that doesn't do anything, but it's a real upgrade. The JBL Go 3 is available for $40, and I'm giving it a major thumbs up. At this price point, it's a steal. The only thing missing would have been a speakerphone like the Tribit speakers offer.

A Quick Note on the Tri-Bit Speaker

I just had a tri-bit speaker in front of me, and I couldn't resist comparing it to the JBL Go 3. The tri-bit speaker is slightly bigger and heavier than the JBL Go 3. However, its design allows for the key feature of being able to pair two speakers together and get stereo sound without traveling anywhere without them. This makes the tri-bit speaker a great companion for anyone who wants to enjoy their music on-the-go.

Pairing with Other JBL Speakers

One question I received was whether you can pair the JBL Go 3 with another JBL speaker that has Oracast technology. The answer is yes! When I paired the JBL Go 3 with a JBL Extreme Four, they synced up seamlessly. I turned down the volume on both speakers to hear how they worked together. Although the JBL Extreme Four was overpowering, it's clear that you can create multi-room speakers with just your JBL speakers and no app required. Just press the button, and you're good to go!

Important Note: The Price of the JBL Go 3 in the USA

Before I started filming this video, I checked JBL's website to see if they had dropped the price yet. To my surprise, it was still listed for $40 on their website. However, as soon as I said I was going to buy another one after recording the video, they increased the price to around $45-$55 in the USA. The current price of the JBL Go 3 is $50 on Amazon, which is a great deal considering its quality and performance.

you're getting JBL Pro Sound with punch your base so technically it should sound better than the JBL go 3 now the battery life is 7 hours on a single charge and it does feature playtime boost that's going to give you an extra two hours now it takes 3 hours to fully charge up now this speaker features orac cast that means you can pair two go fors together and have stereo sound or you can pair them with multiple JBL speakers that feature orac cast such as the JBL extreme 4 now you also got an app that's available for Android and iOS to let you customize your EQ settings and do your updates all straightforward okay inside this is going to be a speaker fits right in the palm of your hands now I tell yall a funny story at the end of this video let's see what else you get this is going to be usba a to USB type-c charging cable and of course got your usual books and pluck a and follow all right now here's the JBL gold 3 I actually passed on this one last year Well I forgot how many years ago this one came out the last one I did was the goto let me go ahead and um open this up hold up okay so here's the JBL go3 and the JBL go4 pretty much the same size all right so now let's take a closer look at the actual speaker and of course ladies and gentlemen late but still great white shoes is in the building I love my I love my I love calm down okay here we go now on the front you got your JBL logo on this side you got your your power button you got your Bluetooth pairing your orac cast connect and an LED on the top this is going to be your play and pause skipp and reverse tracks volume up and down and you got this little hook on this side little JBL Brandon USB typc charging slot on the bottom you got these little rubber stoppers so it's going to stand up like this and the same thing you can lay it down flat and again about the same size as the go three now the first thing you want to do is download the JBL portable app and update your speaker okay so once you finish the update here's how the app is going to look and again this is available for Android and iOS so it's going to show you the name of the speaker the pitch of the speaker you got your battery percentage you got different EQ presets so you got JBL signature chill energetic vocal and of course you can do your custom now you got playtime boost that's going to optimize the sound and give you up to 2 hours extra battery you got stereo group for left and right and you got your product information simple and straightforward now one quick side note with the JBL go3 there's no app support so the go4 is already a huge upgrade now let's do the sound test and on a side note make sure you put your headphones in or watch this video on a quality system you'll be able to hear the difference now I'm going to start off at 50% volume with with the EQ set to JBL signature sound here we go now I can say this this is the kind of volume that you want if you're sitting at your desk at work and you just want to have a little bit of music more music than your phone but less music than a big giant speaker this sounds great and when I picked it up you could feel the Bas vibrating in my hands now listening to music from a phone that was so trash this is the perfect speaker for that kind of situation let's try another song Let's see what I got it okay you hear that Clarity that's chill oh that sounds good bro bro hold up you see let me hit pause for a second this is what I'm saying this is already killing the JBL go3 the customizable EQ did y'all hear the difference and trust me if you buy
