Instead, we were treated to a cacophony of crackling and snapping sounds that seemed to come from nowhere.

As we prepared to roll out, I had to adjust the camera settings due to the intense sunlight. The sun was shining brightly overhead, and I didn't want any glare ruining our footage. With the car ready to go, I hit the gas, and oh man, it was fast. The transmission shifted seamlessly into gear, and the engine seemed to respond instantly. It's clear that this drivetrain is a force to be reckoned with.

One of the standout features of the Poseidon GTR is its seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This gearbox is capable of rapid-fire shifts, and it really adds to the overall driving experience. germany and we're taking a look at this awesome mercedes amg gtr now this is a car by poseidon they are specialized in amg tuning and we've driven a couple of their crazy amgs in the past so today i'm going to show you around this amg gtrs plus as poseidon call it uh it has been tuned quite heavily and is pretty insane to drive so uh i'm going to show you all the stuff that they changed and then we'll take it for a drive towards the autobahn for an autobahn blast now we're going to take it easy as you can see it is super wet and we're on michelin pilot sport cup 2 tires rear wheel drive 1100 plus newton meters of torque it is quite tricky uh to drive so that's what we're going to do today all right so we're going to go quickly through all the amg gt stuff because we've covered that a lot um the gtr is the track focused one the beast from the green hell not as track focused as the gtr pro or the black series of course but this is sort of the porsche 911 gt3 of the range so very daily usable it's great to drive on road but it's also great to drive on track so we have that green color as well so this is that launch color and then we've got a little carbon fiber splitter pan americana grill of course dark headlights which looks really angry and then we've got these amg wheels with behind that regular steel brakes but it does have racing pads so most of these amg gt-rs have carbon ceramics which is optional but this is actually better for track driving this steel disc setup with racing pads it's a little bit cheaper to run and a little bit easier to replace when something goes belly up because the guys at poseidon really put these cars through their paces on the nurburgring so they always have like a little bit of a track setup on them which is really cool and then we've got these delicious michelin pilot sport cup 2 tires very very nice tire as long as you can get some heat in there but that's quite difficult today so i've got 19 inch at the front and 20s at the rear 325 section tire so that is quite a bit of rubber but still it it does take a while to heat up and then we've got a poseidon badge right there and there and then we've got this gt rs 830 plus logo and of course we've got the triple exhaust setup so we've got one there one big one in the center and then one other one there which apparently these tips are carbon fiber to protect everything around it uh from the heat and then this exhaust is also six kilos lighter than the exhaust on the gts we've got the big wing out here as well which is adjustable beautiful carbon fiber rear wing and i have to say i mean the gt-r is a really really cool car it it does look very very mean and very wide and angry really like that alrighty so let's take a look there we go so we've got the m157 4-liter v8 bi turbo right there you can see it's a mid-engined front mid-engined car so stock this car has 585 horsepower and 700 newton meters of torque but this poseidon gtr gtrs has a bit more than that so this is 880 ish horsepower and 1100 newton meters of torque this is their development car so it has a little bit more than that but that is basically the package they are offering with this car so what are the upgrades we have well we've got two new uh bigger turbo chargers of course we've got spark plugs a new rail pump air filter exhaust manifold we've got a transmission hardware reinforcement so uh the gearbox can take the extra power and torque we've got forged pistons as well and of course an ecu a software remap to make it all work together uh so and downpipes of course as well uh so it is quite a bit uh but it's also quite a bit more power than stock i mean 585 to 880 is a lot now disclaimer i'm not going to do anything crazy with this amount of power on this b road because it's just way too wet i drove here and it was quite sketchy so uh so you guys know we're just going to drive like normal people towards the autobahn and i'll let you hear the sound and stuff because it is very loud switch to sport plus that is loud now on the interior we've got a lot of alcantara carbon fiber and yellow stitching as well and we've got this traction control button here which is something they introduced with this gtr and it's basically a 10 stage traction control so i'll show you guys you turn off traction control all together and then you've got that little screen right there and then if you turn this knob you go from one two three four five six seven eight nine nine settings apparently so this is all the way off and then this is all the way on basically but we're just going to keep it on for now do i have anything else to add well just that this is the old setup and i really like this with these buttons the the new one the facelift got these little touch buttons i think here like these haptic feedback things but i like this setup better uh it's just just a good look so see there we go again keep it straight okay so that's loud uh we'll go for manual for the gearbox and we'll take the little tunnel here so you guys can hear it second gear esp sport it's very very loud especially those bangs are much louder that stock and i have to say i don't know if that's the exhaust manifold i think so because we have driven gt s's and rs and stuff with other downpipes before but i think it sounds it sounds different it sounds more racy i think i think that's the exhaust manifold anywho oh i'm so sorry people it is very loud yeah it will spin its wheels all the way through fourth gear i think but we do have something called uh boost by gear which means that the guys at poseidon set up this car so you could in theory uh at like a drag race event just floor it from a standstill and you should be able to grip all the way from first gear so you don't have full power in first gear it gradually builds up which means that you shouldn't be too much slowed down by wheel spin which of course is a problem with this car with this much power on the rear wheels but these cup 2 tires i mean i've talked about this before i think it was my bmw m4 cs review with cop2s in also in november or something and it took me like 40 minutes to heat up the tires and it meant that we oh that's quick oh man that's very very quick uh but the m4cs with those tires it meant that we were always it meant that we were almost facing the wrong direction on the old man a couple of times because you know without heat in them they are terrible oh man that is a lot of crackling and i don't mean the pork crackling kind all right at the ultraman i just exposed the camera because the sun is really bright over here so i hope you guys can see something i don't know if the first part was visible at all but i'm sorry if it's horrible okay oh my god it's fast oh man it's really fast holy moly oh and that transmission that gearbox is so quick oh it's the seven speed dual clutch but it kind of surprises me how quickly it oh that's a quick shift oh that is a powerful car oh my god that is mental i mean this this drivetrain feels really like urgent and violent stock already but this tune this power increase this transmission reinforcement and this software tune it it really changes how the car feels it feels mental all right here we go full throttle oh that's fast oh that is hella fast holy moly oh wow it feels incredible oh oh this is so much better than the black series so much better people should just buy this car there are a lot of people who are still waiting for their black series cars to be delivered because apparently mercedes can't deliver them right now because they will go over there like co2 threshold they will cross it and they will have to pay so there are a lot of people waiting for their cars and uh i mean i would suggest just buying buying a gtr and going to poseidon because this is way way way way faster it sounds way way way better oh that is ridiculous absolutely mental so okay so full throttle sixth gear and that's a limiter 325 on the speedo and that was the limiter so the car is limited and it gets there fairly easily oh my god so we measured the performance of course the 100 to 200 run we did a 4.3 power with that gearbox and the engine i mean this is one of the best turbocharged engines ever made it just keeps keeps delivering that power all the way to like 7 000 rpm oh man it's freaking violent as hell oh there we go those shifts the gears feel so short and the uh it's incredible it's incredible it feels like it goes through those gears so quickly bang and it really adds to that speed feeling you have i mean yes it is ridiculously quick but it feels even quicker because those gears follow each other up so quickly and oh and the engine just keeps pulling all the way to that red line mega mega power delivery absolutely love it oh i want to do this a bit more so let's go for third gear second gear that is insane really really good i love this car man this is insane so top speed should be 340 kilometers an hour uh so if you buy your poisado there you can have a higher top speed than this what an exciting car to drive not only because it it feels when you get in and you have those cold tires and a wet road surface it feels like you have to be so careful but then once you get going warm up the tires a little bit um yeah it just feels so natural and the car can handle this amount of power quite easily it's it's it's quite happy to do it so what happens if we turn off traction control and then we go for like yeah like five second gear yeah see see that's what i mean
