Galaxy S6 Active + Cool New Tech!

**The S6 Active: A Phone for the Active Lifestyle**

As I held the S6 Active, I couldn't help but notice its rubberized and tougher exterior. This phone was designed with people who live an active lifestyle in mind, and it shows. The built-in case is not only functional but also provides protection without adding bulk to the phone. It's like having a real case, but without the extra weight or bulk. I'm a tech guy myself, and I appreciate the thought that went into designing this phone with users who want more protection for their devices.

The S6 Active comes equipped with an IP68 certification, which means it's shock-resistant, dust-proof, and water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. This is a major selling point for anyone who wants a phone that can withstand the rigors of everyday life. The phone still boasts a great 5.1-inch Quad HD display, the same octacore processor, 3GB of RAM, and an amazing 16-megapixel camera that takes incredible pictures. But what really sets this phone apart is its massive 3500mAh battery, which is almost 1000mAh more than the standard S6. This means that users who are always on-the-go will have plenty of power to keep their devices juiced throughout the day.

**A Different Approach**

One thing that stands out about the S6 Active is its departure from traditional phone design. The fingerprint scanner has been replaced by three physical buttons for recent apps, home, and return. This may take some getting used to, but I appreciate the added grip on the sides of the phone, which makes it feel more secure in my hand.

The left side of the phone also features a new button that leads to the Activity Zone. Here, users can access a wealth of information tailored specifically to their interests, such as hiking or traveling. This is a great feature for anyone who wants to stay organized and connected on-the-go. And if you want to customize the button's function, you can do so easily.

**The 2016 Volvo XC90 T6: A Connected Car**

My next stop was the 2016 Volvo XC90 T6, a car that left me in awe. As I walked around the vehicle, I couldn't help but notice its sleek design and advanced features. The XC90 is essentially a connected car, complete with its own data connection through AT&T. This means that users can access their favorite apps, stream music from Pandora, or even create a hotspot to share with other devices.

One of the most impressive features of this car is its ability to pull up Yelp reviews based on your location. Imagine being in an unfamiliar area and needing to find a good restaurant – this feature would be incredibly useful. The XC90 also comes equipped with five cameras, which provide a 360-degree view of the car and its surroundings. This is especially useful for parking enthusiasts like my mom, who may struggle with navigating tight spaces.

The display on the dashboard functions similarly to a tablet, providing users with access to all their favorite apps and features. The GPS navigation system looks crisp and clear, which I appreciate over my smartphone's screen. And when it comes to sound quality, the XC90 delivers. The built-in Bowers & Wilkins speakers are not only stylish but also provide an incredible listening experience.

**Wearables**

I had the opportunity to check out some innovative wearables at the event, and I was blown away by their features and designs. First up was the Wingly Activity watch, which has a classic analog look while still offering advanced features like motion tracking, sleep detection, and swimming activity. The replaceable battery lasts for 8 months, making it perfect for users who don't want to worry about charging every night.

Next, I took a look at the LG Urbane smartwatch, which runs Android Wear. While I've used Moto 360s before, this one caught my eye due to its full round display and steel body. The added bonus is that it has built-in Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for constant proximity to your smartphone.

Last but not least, there were some stylish smart bands designed by Rebecca Minkoff, including the notification bracelet I've dubbed "Casemates." This sleek accessory receives a gentle buzz on your wrist whenever you receive calls or texts from specific people. It's a thoughtful touch that makes it perfect for fashion-conscious users who want to stay connected without sacrificing style.

**Conclusion**

The event was full of exciting features and innovations, but the S6 Active and 2016 Volvo XC90 T6 truly stood out as must-see devices. Whether you're an active lifestyle enthusiast or just someone who wants a reliable phone or car with advanced features, there's something here for everyone. I want to thank AT&T for inviting me to check out these amazing products – it was definitely worth my while.

a built-in case because if you can't tell by the name this was made with people who live an active lifestyle in mind and as one of the few Tech guys who likes to use cases I actually like the built-in case likee protection because it doesn't add the bulk of a real one it's also ip68 certified so this means it's shock resistant dust proof and water resistant up to 1 1/2 M for up to 30 minutes it still has a great 5.1 in Quad HD display the same octacore process processor 3 gigs of RAM and that awesome 16 megapixel camera which takes amazing pictures and is one of the best smartphone cameras today and last but not least my favorite spec on the list a much bigger 3,500 milliamp battery that's almost 1,000 milliamps more than the standard S6 so for those of you who are always out and about and need that extra battery life to get you through the day this is going to be perfect can we please make batteries this size standard across all phones please one thing it doesn't keep from the S6 however is the fingerprint scanner and instead it has three physical buttons for recent apps home and return the S6 active feels really good in the hand due to the added grip on the sides and speaking of sides the S6 active features a new button on the left side that leads you to the activity Zone here you'll get all kinds of information that'll help you hikers and travelers out there and you can cool feature of a connected car like this is the ability to pull up Yelp reviews based on the area you're in can you imagine being hungry in an unfamiliar area and being able to quickly pull up a restaurant review that's pretty sweet this car also comes jam-packed with five cameras so you can get a 360 view of your car and its surroundings this is amazing for people like my mom who aren't the best at parking you can also control all of these features and apps through the use of the display on the dashboard which functions similarly to a tablet and was surprisingly just as as responsive it's a nice large display which allows for big buttons and a very userfriendly interface GPS navigation looks super crisp and clear which I could appreciate over my smartphone it also has an amazing have to charge it every night then there was the LG Urbane which runs Android Wear I use a Moto 360 for Android Wear but I got to say it's nice to see a watch with a full round display it has a steel body and a pretty classic overall look while most Android Weare devices pretty much function the same this one is a little different because it has built-in Wi-Fi so it doesn't have to be right next
