iOS 17.5 - Top 5 NEW Features Coming To iPhone

**iOS 17.5 Beta: What to Expect**

We have confirmation that this offer could be coming really soon as early as this week with Bill number 21F 5048 F. According to 9to5 Mac, there have been activities of 17.5 beta 1 on their Google and analytics, and even Mark Kman has confirmed that iOS 17.5 should be finalized or beta 1 should be finalized as early as this week. So, what can we expect from the next major update to the iPhone? Let's dive into one of those features which is called "Game Mode".

**Game Mode: Optimizing Your iPhone's Performance for Better Gaming**

This feature was found within the code of iOS 17 early on and has yet been released. Game mode will optimize your iPhone's performance for better gaming performance, but we haven't seen this yet and hopefully we'll see the first glance at game mode with iOS 17.5 in the near future. This feature could be iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max only if it does come to the iPhone, but it would be nice to see how Apple will implement this new game mode feature to the iPhone.

**SharePlay: Bringing Music from Other Services Directly to Apple Music**

Another feature we can expect Apple to add to the iPhone with iOS 17.5 is a feature that could allow you to import music from other services directly to your Apple Music account. This feature was first spotted with iOS 17.4 but it was never officially released. Now, this year we could see a new feature that allows you to transfer music from other services to your Apple Music account.

**New Pride Wallpaper and Watch Face**

This year, we could also see a new Pride wallpaper added to the pride wallpaper collection of iPhone. Last year with iOS 16.5 at this time of the year Apple added this one right here along side with a new watch face so if history is any indication this year we could see an additional Pride wallpaper added to the pride wallpaper collection of your iPhone and of course we'll see a new Pride watch face to go along with that.

**Stopwatch Live Activity for Dynamic Island**

There's also a new feature for stopwatch that was spotted with iOS 17.4 early betas where you can start your stopwatch send it over to Dynamic Island and have it as a live activity for your lock screen. That feature was later removed as you can see right here but yeah we could have a stopwatch live activity for dynamic island in the lock screen with iOS 17.5.

**Security Updates and Patches**

Of course, per usual, we can also anticipate security updates and patches with this one. This is always included in any update to the iPhone.

**The Release Date of iOS 17.5**

Honestly, no one really knows exactly when Apple will release 17.5 but of course Mac rumors and Mark Gman basically confirming that this week could be the week we see iOS 17.5 beta 1 for registered developers in public beta testers maybe as early as today April 1st or April 2nd tomorrow on a Tuesday.
