Title: A Taste of International Cuisine in Logan, Utah

I'm here in Utah, and I love coming to this state because it's all about great people, tons of community, and lots to do. When you're talking about a place that has a strong sense of community, it gives you a place where people actually love to go out and socialize. And what better way to experience that than by trying some amazing international cuisine? I'm in Logan, Utah, just an hour and a half from Salt Lake City, and I'm here to check out Sabores International Cuisine.

Sabores International Cuisine is the brainchild of Chef Eliseo Garcia, who has cooked for none other than President Reagan. With a background that spans kitchens all over the West and chefs from all over the world, Chef Garcia knows his stuff when it comes to flavors and cooking techniques. The menu at Sabores is a reflection of this international experience, with dishes inspired by comfort foods from around the globe. I was blown away by the variety on offer, and I'm excited to dive in and try some of these incredible flavors.

I started off by ordering the Lomo Saltado, which was a dish that Chef Garcia told me was one of his favorites after working in kitchens all over the West. This classic Peruvian stir-fry dish is made with beef, onions, fries, and an amazing sauce that's both tangy and savory. I was impressed by how true to form it was, down to the little details like the aji panca pepper that adds a unique flavor profile to the dish.

Next up was the Aji Sauce, which Chef Garcia described as one of his favorite condiments after working in kitchens all over the West. This sauce is made with mayonnaise, aji amarillo peppers, jalapenos, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon juice, cilantro, and romaine lettuce - yes, you read that right, lettuce! I was skeptical at first, but Chef Garcia assured me that it added a unique texture to the sauce. And let me tell you, it's definitely an acquired taste.

As we continued on our culinary journey, we tried some of the house chips, which were crispy and delicious. Chef Garcia explained that they were made from a variety of ingredients including potatoes, Japanese jam, taro root, lotus root, and a special seasoning blend. We also built a burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a chipotle aioli sauce - yes, you read that right again, peanut butter was added to the mix! It may sound strange, but trust me when I say it's a game-changer.

Another highlight of our meal was the Rancheros House dish, which features tender meat, lots of onions and tomatoes, and a side of crispy fries. Chef Garcia told us about how he used to make food for President Reagan at his restaurant in California before coming to Logan. He said that one of Reagan's favorite dishes was salad sandwiches, but not Lomo Saltado - I guess you could say he was missing out on something special! The sauce they served with the dish was amazing, and it really brought all the flavors together.

As we continued on our meal, we tried some spring rolls and a peanut butter burger that was truly one of the best I've ever had. The combination of sweet and savory flavors in the burger was incredible, and the chips were crispy and addictive. Chef Garcia explained how he came up with the idea to add peanut butter to the burger - it's all about experimentation and trying new things.

One of the most impressive aspects of Sabores International Cuisine is its commitment to using fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. With a menu that takes you on a culinary journey around the world, there's something for everyone at this incredible restaurant. Whether you're in the mood for comfort food or something more exotic, Sabores has got you covered. And with Chef Garcia's passion for flavors and cooking techniques shining through in every dish, it's no wonder this restaurant is a local favorite.
