Twitter Rolls Out New Activity Tab: A Timeline-Like Feature
Hey guys, it's MKBHD here, and I'm excited to share with you Twitter's latest update – the new activity tab. As we all know, Twitter doesn't often get major updates, but this one is a game-changer.
Recently, Twitter rolled out its new activity tab to pretty much all users. This feature looks like a timeline, and it's finally giving Twitter the update it deserves. Without any further ado, let's take a look at the latest feature for Twitter.
Finding the Activity Tab
If you'd like to follow me on Twitter, I'm MKBHD, and my link is in the description below. To find the activity tab, head over to your Twitter feed and click on one of the tabs at the top. You can also see all activities on the right-hand side under Trends.
The Activity Feed
When you open the activity tab, you'll see a list of recent activities, including who's following whom, replies, retweets, and favorites. What's interesting is that Twitter doesn't have a lot going on besides these basic features, but this new activity feed makes it look great.
You can see who's starting to follow someone in real-time, along with the pictures of the people they're following. It's also cool to see what kind of tweets are getting favored – I wasn't aware that people still favor a lot of tweets!
When someone only follows a small number of people, you'll only see their image. However, if they follow multiple people, you get a link to maybe follow them just in case.
What's New on Twitter?
I recently noticed some cool things happening on Twitter. For example, I saw one guy favored one of my tweets – that was pretty cool! Now, let's take a look at the activity feed for different time periods – three days ago, five days ago, and so on.
As you can see, it's still all retweets, follows, and favorites. That's basically what Twitter's got going on right now.

person you'll be able to see that you'll able to see the pictures of the people that they're following right now Twitter doesn't to have a whole lot going on besides tweets mentions retweets and follows but that's basically what they're going to detail here in their uh activity feed so you can see someone got followed someone got followed followed someone got replied to uh and it's really
