The Ryzen News and Upcoming System Builds
We've got some news about the AMD Ryzen series, specifically the X370 chipset that's being used in one of our upcoming system builds. The motherboard itself has no branding on it, aside from its manufacturer - a non-descript Asus board with an x370 chipset. We didn't get to test or benchmark this particular board as we're not allowed to do so, but it's interesting to see the hardware that will be used in our future builds.
One of the most exciting features of the upcoming system build is the case itself - a sleek and modern enclosure from CyberPowerPC that can rotate and flip its contents with ease. The Cyber XL case has a unique acrylic panel on one side, which gives off a diffused lighting effect that's almost like an LCD display. This panel is what sets this case apart from others in the industry, and it's certainly a nice touch to see.
The system build itself was carefully curated by CyberPowerPC, with components chosen for their performance and aesthetics. The base of the system is the Cyber XL enclosure, which is a large and well-designed display case that showcases the various components on display. This particular build features the EVGA hydrocopper 108s, an open-loop liquid cooling solution that's designed to work seamlessly with other EVGA products.
The CPU and GPU are both cooled by separate loops, allowing for independent temperature management of each component. The system is also equipped with a Z270 motherboard from Gigabyte, which provides a solid foundation for the build. We'll have more information on this particular motherboard in the coming days as we review it in-depth.
Next Up: The Tower 900 System Build
Our next system build features the Thermal Take Tower 900, a large and well-designed enclosure that showcases the various components on display. This system was built by one of our case modders, who created a unique and interesting design based off the Thermal Take frame. The result is a stunning display case with three tempered glass panels on each side, as well as a large back area for cable management.
The Tower 900 enclosure itself is available separately, and can be purchased for DIY enthusiasts who want to build their own custom system. Inside the case, we see the EVGA hydrocopper 108s liquid cooling solution in action, with two separate loops - one for the CPU and one for the GPU. These loops are designed to work independently of each other, allowing for precise temperature management of each component.
The Z270 motherboard from Gigabyte is also on display, providing a solid foundation for the build. We'll have more information on this particular motherboard in the coming days as we review it in-depth. For now, let's take a closer look at the components and design of this system build.
Finally, we see that the system is equipped with Lux brand LED lights - an in-house RGB lighting solution from CyberPowerPC that adds a touch of personality to the overall design. The LED lights are neatly integrated into the case, providing a subtle yet stylish glow to the entire system.
Overall, our next system build showcases some of the latest and greatest components on the market, including the Thermal Take Tower 900 enclosure and the EVGA hydrocopper 108s liquid cooling solution. We'll have more information on these components in the coming days as we review them in-depth.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone we're at CES 2017 Day Zero I'm at the Cyber power Suite right now and we have a system with technically I suppose some form of ryzen or the x370 chipset in it I'll be talking about that in a moment and then also some unique cases from cyber power and cyber their brand we'll also be talking about some different assemblies using known cases like the thermaltech tower 900 before getting to that this coverage is brought to by thermal take and their core P3 enclosure which is wall mountable and can serve as a test bench check the link in the description below for more information on that so let's start out with the ryzen system next to me this is the white and black one uh the unit is called the Cyber XL we'll get to that in a moment on the back side is sort of an emblazened on the side panel big ryzen logo which you'll see in our b-roll and that houses some form of an AMD system now the motherboard has no branding on it I think it's an a sort of noname Asus board there's no board nomenclature or anything like that really very little information uh it is an x370 chipset which we talked about in another video that is on the channel and uh that's more or less all that I know about it we're not allowed to Benchmark it we're not allowed to touch it uh so that's basically it's one of those it exists type of things but that's kind of the extent of the ryzen news but they have one here so the cool thing with the case this is if you've seen our dark base 900 coverage you may remember that the enclosure from be quiet that we saw at compy Tex can rotate so you can actually rotate the board tray this kind of does something similar to that where the entire chassis can rotate and flip everything so you can either display on the left side or the right side depending on preferences uh and that's done by cyber power basically before they ship it on the left side of this one and we'll have some Boll again of this there is a uh it's basically an acrylic panel with a diffuser on it and that gives us the kind of neat lighting effect where the LEDs from the inside of the case are almost reflecting against the side wall and so when I first saw it I actually thought it was an LCD side panel kind of like the snow blind from iy power but it's not it's just a diffuser a lot cheaper way to do it uh and you get the light reflection that's more or less the extent of it but it is pretty cool looking so that's on the Cyber XL uh the enclosure as always with all these SI you just kind of go through and pick the case and pick all the parts so uh the skews as far as uh as far as the price goes it just depends on what you pick the case itself we were told started at around $130 uh but then the the price is dictated by the components and this one is all fully water cooled uh the next system we're talking about has two liquid cooling Loops one for the CPU and the GPU separately so that's kind of cool and we'll move over there now so this is the second system build this one is using the thermal take Tower 900 you might recognize this depending on how closely you've followed our coverage in the past last year we showed some thermal take mods at CES and this was derived from one of those so the mods were uh created by case moders of course one of them built a system like this based off of a thermal take frame and now they have the tower 900 which is basically uh three tempered glass panels one on each side and then a large back area for cable management and liquid cooling radiators things like that the radiator it looks like uh might be a 420 or something is mounted right here on the side and that's all ventilated so that's the enclosure uh it is available separately if you wanted it for DIY and then it's basically just a large display case like you would have for anything else in your house so the components on display are the EVGA hydrocopper 108s so these are the open loop version more or less of the hybrids and those are connected to the uh they're actually isolated Loops so the GPU loop with both gpus is separate from the CPU Loop so you're not pumping hot liquid into one of the components because you can either go from the CPU to the GPU or vice versa with one Loop and that heats something up and that is uh what is this this is a z270 motherboard from gigabyte we just reviewed their gaming 7 I believe this is the gaming 5 I'm not sure if it has the same things I talked about with the gaming s we'll find out later I suppose the piping has this sort of copper finish almost looks like the kind of thing you'd buy off the shelf at Home Depot and I mean that in a more unique DIY way uh and then it's fitted with thermal take fittings and and all that stuff that you need to connect everything so that's the basics this is the Lux brand of cyber power cases or systems I should should say Tower 900 thermal take case inside the LEDs uh are just kind of their in-house RGB LED setup which most people have at this point uh it's certainly certainly been big the last year as you all know so thank you for watching as always link is in the description below for more information if you're curious to learn more about the ryzen and Zen and x370 stuff we have content online already you can check that on the channel or the website Gamers nexus.net subscribe for more I'll see you all
