a while since we've got to film some of the old school cash days guys it's been five or six years now that they've got the TV show and I got a call from boosted GT a couple weeks ago that there was a big cash days going down and discover's not going to be there so we had to jump at that occasion yeah we're they needed a film crew and we're more than obliged to help so oh yeah uh so we just rolled into Dallas and I got a picture text from limpy of some cars and trailers in a parking lot so we know what that means we're heading to the testing spot right now we're going to see who showed up and it's getting warmed up for this weekend he oh there's some some badass cars here how's the car running right make a good hit tonight oh yeah s yeah for this road last time we were here it was virgin Road it's not So Much Anymore oh it's it it nobody pry bad I turn I turned it I turned the nitrous off foot break and ran on the motor to get down there so John Do's back in a nous we got a hood we've we have been hoodless for a year with a turbo setup so we got we got a hood we got a new front cap so what's under the hood of John John do this year uh it's a 752 uh 5 in four space big block uh single kit I always had to I always had to do something unique it's got one kit what was the combo before the turbos uh a single cetor one kit big BL my goal is always to go faster with less so everybody's got four kits I'll have one and uh usually I just run one carburetor you happier with the nous again it works better for me yeah I just didn't have the knowledge I don't think to do the to do the turbo deal well we pulled up here and I was excited to see the car here it's going to be badass cash days is going to be huge I just hope we can pull it off that's what we come for H yeah well they were cool they just wanted some T-shirts so we just saw one more cop roll through we're checking to see if he's gone and might get one or two more test hits in and then tomorrow night is the main help well after a hell of a night of testing we saw a few of the guys that are throwing their name in the Hat for cash days this weekend it's going to be one hell of a show hell yeah hell yeah uh John Doe made a hell of a pass probably the best pass all night that was fast uh Kai Kelly was getting his together by the other night that C4 Corvette finally made a really good pass at the end of the night uh a couple other guys still struggling but it's going to be a good night me we've heard rumors of some of the other cars showing up and I know these aren't going to be the fastest cars that show up and these are some of the fastest cars we've ever seen on the street they race on the show all the time but that's a little bit different we're out here dealing with cops and uh it's badass this road isn't shut down by a film crew this is straight street racing this is legit right here big shows tomorrow cash days 2017 OG throwback hell yeah Moment of Truth we're on our way to cash days we stopped by the gas station and it's already getting a little crazy I don't really ask who's showing up we just get to see who's who's here and we're about to find out who's throwing down tonight it's going to be crazy you see a random car with a blower on the like that you know it's going to be a good night look at that how was that it back you stick it to stuck all right you're next all cars and I've got this little magnet here part of the OG cash days rules have always been that the car has to have a steel quarter and a steel roof and a vent tag so to keep things the way it's always been we are enforcing those rules because nowadays it's not uncommon to see a promod with a fiberglass body we're trying to keep the promods out of the street we're trying to keep the street scene I don't know just kind of the way it's been for a long time right gotcha so in order to check these things we've got this magnet here and I'm basically just sticking it to the quarter panel and the roof got so cool carry on yep all right thanks you goony man it ain't even it ain't even 11:00 dude you already h the godam if I can get somebody come off there first first round who you got someone trying those guys are crazy and they do cooler than we do but 20 something cars we're at 26 right now Real Deal street race cars real deal street race dudes no Pro mods no carbon fiber bodies OG steel cars that were made in a factory for somebody to drive back and forth to work have been modified over the last 20 years 30 years 50 years and are now going to go down a street in Texas for a lot of money or Mexico or wherever we're at a nice cold piece of concrete I've never won a cash days I've been in all of them but the last one cuz I had that fing stupid promod thing carbon fiber piece of Sean's want to cash days boosted one cash days you all right we are at Cash days once again so pretty much y'all are the baddest on the street and you're not afraid to put on the street with no cameras in case there's any questions the roads are not shut down thank you there is no waiting 30 minutes to get GoPros put in your car with that said if you get pulled over or for some reason caught in the act you will go to jail youon you won't get caught in Long group of people this is worst case scenario I'm just saying there are consequences for what you're about to do the cops are going to come but the thing is you don't want to be on the road engaging in illegal activity with that said we're going to go over some rules for people that haven't ever participated in this you jump you're out the race is over right thing right I me where if you both jump and who jump first go chase or race I'll do the crossing so limp is a flagger he's going to it's Crossing not touching Crossing it's Crossing yeah this ain't Mississippi because when we get out to where we're going to go we're going to hit it just like we did last time SC last time we're going to Bam I'm not running not one mother until everybody's ready right there shouldn't be no reason why we don't do first round within 20 minutes if you hit the curb in your lane obviously you're good you're good keep on rolling hit the other curb Jesus Christ this is the biggest is not this is not closed Road film no makeup we are going to attempt to put 31 cars down the street oh my God and by the way these cars are like super loud and they're all in these enclosed trailers some open trailers there's a stacker over there with a motor home yeah so we got to like just get to the road first without you know making a scene or having cops follow us in so so we got 31 cars we got cars from Oklahoma Texas Georgia Memphis Georgia Mississippi Mississippi everything yeah they're from everywhere how much is the Buy in B was $500 so 31 cars that's 155 um and then the spectators I think put in a lot of money so this pot I think should be well like probably 18,000 I think somewhere in there I mean we'll count the final amount but there's a lot of money and this is nuts and we haven't seen much like this since the shows started happening yeah I mean the show I mean whether you like the show or not the show kind of killed OG cash days in a sense right I mean we haven't been able to do is it's been about 10 years and one of the guys here in Dallas actually flew me in for the the third cash days I think and you were my taxi yeah which was awesome any predictions for winners the roads we picked are not good so it's anybody's race you know there's no real killer roads we're going to um so it's whoever can get from A to B combination it works real good awesome and it's a steel car still it's a steel car they stuck magnets all over it awesome man well love seeing the car out here I I've never seen it get down the street the tire smoke that has been placed into the air this road is very tricky has proven that some of the much faster cars cannot get down it and can't get their car turned down and can't get their car turned down enough to get down it so it's pretty much anyone's ball game right now if I was to pick someone to win I can't cuz it is literally anyone's game but there was some major upsets we had one close call too yeah we had uh one car going to the grass um thankfully no one was hurt that's racing you know we sign up we know what we sign up for coming out here so how was that first pass hey want to know they said there's a video showing on waving before they cross cross the line first so look at the video if the video proves that then we then there a move point so we need to look the video If y'all got the video show it to them and that we'll be done with this man that is you call left lane winner win somebody owes me $16,000 that's all is to it I heard about this real Street raising and I came in did y'all Street raising steel roof of quarters on my car came to here did everything you act somebody owes me $116,000 dude that's all there is to it and look if you don't want because we tried to said no now he wants to split you want me to jump all the way in front of him what you want me to do you want you going to call this much before started now I had the light on before they passed me and I was that's the line I was standing right there when I started hearing cops I stepped forward towards the starting line and was doing this I'm not trying to anybody at him any money I could see I can see this is first time Shane says he saw the light waving during the pass so when you saw the light waving did you let out did you make the first turn I mean did you even turn before the cops slam on the what you end up doing with the cash well because the Finish Line guy was waving the flashlight at the end and the race wasn't finished we're going to have to split the pot between the two cars that we left which is what we do when you can't finish cash in time that's that's what happens so believe there's a 155 split right down the middle I know it doesn't help what happened but yeah we all know the risk we take when we do this so fortunately the probes get impounded right so probe is impounded and the driver is going to jail so this is Real Deal no blocked off roads no free passes Fort Worth got them so we're going to keep doing it h yeah just like our parents did it I mean it's never going to stop so yeah well till next time cuz there's only 31 not the way of the road when you guys ran I seen the light flashing at the end and didn't really realize what was going on and then next thing I know I see two cars side by side coming down the road and I realized it was cops and I went to the right yeah I saw you scoot the other side of the road right and the lights come on and I got I hit the first road I could get out of there went right back to my trailer I can't believe they didn't follow you I'm sure you par they were all over him cuz yeah he was coming straight towards them yeah I got lucky I'll be honest well anyway good reason man all right it's 6:15 in the morning and cash days is over we got all the races off the last one didn't quite finish they called it a split unfortunately drivers in jail car isn't pounded but everyone's safe so Cash's overall was a success it was just one of the shittiest ways for it to end Fred got to see his first legit cash days and it's pretty legit yeah my first lipy cash days and I can honestly out about an hour ago so 16 hours something like that we laid down a pass though yeah you did you know virgin Street first out right out you know very Virg tree cuz you guys are on the wrong side of the road no rubber at all and you know that was a big thing for us and they all talk about we can't do this and that we did it you know just now we got to work on a call tomorrow only bad thing is that that officer was uh easy really hard on us well so yeah what is the situation on the car right now they said They seized it that's what they say me the officers saying that but it's got to go uh tomorrow the detectives to get it assigned to the detective and I mean everybody's like you should have ran I mean way go couldn't get away I don't think they even saw Shane cuz we watched on the GoPro and you can see he just casually pulls off and stops like he's expecting to get stopped and you hear him start it back up and he just slowly rolls away like is this really happening they see they said his car didn't look like a race car so they wasn't worried about that was on one kit you know so cuz we just we we come from the no prep and uh you know track racers that we are couldn't do it on the street and we changed our setup around and you know we started started coming around and but you got to figure too he put me in the right left lane and I mean I might have had this far on each side of the car I didn't have no room for error man we went went a little bit right and I pulled it back and it stayed planted I stayed with it man like I said it was uh that's one of the fastest FS I made on the street I think Boo and them put on a real good race you know a little bit of jail time but everyone's safe thank God I I know I was getting into coming in this I know that was a chance so well just got a text from the bird boys and they got the car out not too bad just a day and a half after getting impounded hey up me what's going on oh go so you got the car out yep got the car on the way home nice that's got to be a huge relief you guys made it made quick work out of that yeah they are we got to come back inside some GL to get the car back we'll talk to you later bye
