**A New Era in Mobile Technology: The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Edge Screen**
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a device that has been making waves in the tech world, is now available to the masses. But what sets it apart from its predecessors? A feature that will revolutionize the way we interact with our devices - a curved screen on the edge of the phone. This innovative design allows users to access information without having to turn on their screens.
Imagine being able to glance at your Twitter feed, sports scores, or news ticker all while keeping your main screen dark and conserving battery life. This is made possible by Samsung's new Edge screen technology. With this feature, developers can create unique experiences that take advantage of the curved screen, offering users a lot of flexibility in how they interact with their devices.
One of the things that sets the Galaxy Note 4 apart from other phones on the market is its ability to offer a large screen experience without sacrificing battery life. The device features a gorgeous display, but also includes an Edge screen that allows users to access additional information without having to turn on their screens. This makes it perfect for those who want to stay informed while still being able to use their phone as they normally would.
Another feature of the Galaxy Note 4 is its S Pen stylus, which remains a key component of the device even with the addition of the Edge screen. Users can take advantage of the S Pen's advanced features, such as handwriting recognition and note-taking capabilities, while also enjoying the benefits of the curved screen.
Samsung has done a great job of incorporating the Edge screen technology into the Galaxy Note 4, and it will be exciting to see how developers choose to utilize this feature. The device will be available on every major US carrier, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
One of the things that stands out about Samsung's approach to the Edge screen is their willingness to give users options. Unlike some other companies, which have been known to impose certain design choices on their customers, Samsung has opted for flexibility and choice. This means that users can choose whether or not to use the Edge screen, and they will still be able to enjoy the features of the Galaxy Note 4.
**A Flexible Solution**
The Edge screen technology is just one of many innovative features that make the Galaxy Note 4 a great device. With the addition of this curved screen, Samsung has created a flexible solution that allows users to customize their experience in ways that were not previously possible. Whether you're looking for a way to stay informed, or simply want to try out something new and exciting, the Edge screen is sure to deliver.
**A New Approach to Notifications**
One of the most interesting features of the Galaxy Note 4's Edge screen is its ability to offer a stock ticker without having to turn on your screens. This means that users can stay up-to-date on market trends and news without having to constantly check their phones. It's just one example of how Samsung has taken a new approach to notifications, giving users more control over the information they receive.
**A Flexible Display**
The Edge screen is not just a novelty - it's also a useful tool that offers a range of benefits for users. By displaying essential information like Twitter feeds and sports scores on the curved screen, users can stay informed without having to turn on their main screens. This means that they can conserve battery life, reduce distractions, and enjoy a more streamlined user experience.
**A Wide Range of Options**
One of the things that sets the Galaxy Note 4 apart from other devices is its wide range of options for customization. Whether you're looking for a way to stay informed, or simply want to try out something new and exciting, Samsung has given users plenty of choices with the Edge screen technology.
**A Device for Everyone**
The Galaxy Note 4 is not just a device for power users - it's also designed for everyday people who want to experience the latest in mobile technology. With its S Pen stylus, curved Edge screen, and wide range of options for customization, this device has something to offer everyone.
**What Do You Think?**
So, what do you think about the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with an Edge screen? Would you use it over a traditional phone like the Note 4? Let us know in the comments! We'd love to hear your thoughts and discuss this innovative new feature.

obviously rounded up all the rumors from the past several weeks and over the past few weeks we have heard a lot about the Samsung phones the Note 4 obviously the S5 was a big deal we didn't hear much about their curve display technology earlier this week though Samsung I think surprised a lot of people and unleashed the Samsung Galaxy Edge what's up everyone John rener from techno Buffalo here earlier this week Samsung unveiled a crazy curved phone called the Samsung Galaxy Edge there's also some note branding in there but it's unsure if it's going to be part of the note line that aside it's a pretty cool device uh so it's rocking pretty much spec for spec what they just announced with the Galaxy Note 4 it's a little bit smaller on the screen size it's 5.6 instead of 5 5.7 it's got a q HD display so essentially a 2K screen it's 2560 x440 which is a ridiculous 525 PPI it's got a Quad HD Super AMOLED screen a Beasly processor it's 2.7 GHz quad core 3 gigs of RAM 32 gig to 64 storage expandable all kinds of other goodness 60 megapix sensor on the back with Optical image stabilization but that is not the big story the screen is freaking curved and it's not curved like you know the LG glex with curve it's got a whole like separate screen on the side of the device you're probably saying to yourself John why would I want that and that is a very valid question but before I get into what that can do I want to take my hat off the Samsung if I was wearing one I would tip it right now I've been tough on Samsung over the past few years I think they haven't really done much in the Innovation Department until now uh they are trying something different they're not sacrificing specs for it they're not making it weird and useless like they had it the old Continuum with the second screen on there this is a totally new take on a smart phone that's giving a whole new way to access information it gives Sam some credit for trying something new they're using more premium materials they're sort of going through one by one addressing the concerns people had uh with their products okay so now onto the weird little curvy thing uh if you want to see more about it we've got some handson too that Todd did uh who's in Berlin IFA link to that'll be right down below of course you'll have some footage popping up as I'm talking so you can do all kinds of cool stuff with it uh let's say you want to use it as an alarm clock you can just turn your phone off and the time will show up right down there and there's your alarm clock what if you want your Twitter feed to show up right there you can go ahead and see that uh if you want settings or news ticker to show up there a stock ticker without your screen having to be on it gives you a lot of flexibility what I'm really excited about is when developers get access to that little tiny screen and they can do a lot of cool things with it and if you don't want to use it you really don't have to you're still getting the specs of their latest phone which is a Galaxy Note 4 but you've got something extra on top of it you can choose whether not you want to use it or not still have the same S Pen uh that's on board I think Sam's done a really cool job and also it's going to be coming to every major US carrier so presumably it'll be coming to whatever carrier you're on uh unless you're on mvno or you live in another country uh it'll be coming to you know your care will be widely available which I think is great no care exclusivity it's got that crazy screen on the side which can offer a lot of information I think it' be kind of nice to have my Twitter feed show up there sports scores I know how the Angels or when the Lakers lose uh because they're going to uh a lot this season and I like that Samsung's trying something new they've been talking a lot about curve techn they showed it behind closed doors it's last year and even the year before that um but now I actually seeing it in production devices uh I like that they didn't put it on the Note 4 they didn't sort of cramp down everybody's throat and be like this is what you're going to use take it they even give people options and I'm big fan of options if you want to try something new we have it if you prefer the old form factor you prefer just a big old screen with a gorgeous uh display on it they try the Note 4 uh if you want to try something different hey we got that for you too take a quick second to thank our friends at linda.com which always makes me laugh I've got an Aunt Linda you can barely check emails always makes me the edge I think I would unequivocally pick the edge cuz I like to try new things and I also like big screen so get the best of both worlds uh but that's just me I'm weird like that which one would
