Crashed my E36 ALREADY! (Full Speed Backies)

The Thrill of Drifting: A Day with E36 in the Dry

As I sat in the driver's seat, adjusting my gloves and taking a deep breath, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Today was going to be a day of testing and pushing the limits of my trusty E36. The dry conditions were perfect for a day of drifting, and I was eager to get started.

First things first, I needed to make sure everything was in working order. I sent over the logs to Seamaster, ensuring that every system was functioning properly, including the cooling system. With a new drive shaft and some tweaks to bring it out of the compound, I felt confident that this car was going to be ready for anything. As I raised the front end of the car by about an inch, I knew that if I dropped it again, I wouldn't chip up my wheels like before. A little aggression under the rear would do wonders for traction.

With a final check of the gearing and a glance at the speedometer, I was ready to take her out for a spin. The first laps were smooth sailing, with only a slight hiccup in gearing that left me feeling a bit disoriented. As I transitioned between gears, I couldn't help but feel like I was almost wanting to go into first gear – it was a strange sensation. With the car cooling temps at 193 degrees, I knew I had to fine-tune my shifting technique.

I took a moment to adjust the duty cycle on the ECU, lowering it from 600 to 500 degrees, and noticed that it made a noticeable difference in engine temperature. The car seemed to stay cooler than before, and I was eager to see how this new adjustment would affect its performance.

As we prepared for the drift session, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. Phil had been waiting patiently by the car, ready to provide some support and guidance. With a few final checks and adjustments, we were finally ready to hit the track.

The first few laps were smooth and easy, with the car handling like a dream. But as I transitioned into second gear, I felt a slight hesitation, followed by a sudden loss of traction. The rear wheels had started to spin, and before I knew it, I was drifting sideways across the compound. It was exhilarating – and slightly disorienting.

As we continued to push the limits of the car, Phil provided some insightful commentary on my shifting technique. He noted that I was pushing too hard, and that I needed to find a better balance between power and finesse. With his words ringing in my ears, I took a deep breath and focused on the task at hand.

The rain began to pour down, threatening to dampen our drift session. But we were determined to continue, no matter what. As we made our way through the course, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Phil – we were both in this together, pushing the limits of the car and testing its mettle.

As we finally called it a day, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Despite the challenges we faced, we had managed to squeeze out some incredible driving from this trusty E36. And as I climbed out of the driver's seat, exhausted but exhilarated, I knew that this was just the beginning of an exciting adventure – one that would take us to the limits of speed and skill.

A Little Side Note: Colette Was Getting Aggressive

As we continued to push the limits of the car, I couldn't help but notice the driving style of our colleague, Colette. She was getting a bit aggressive with her entries, taking some risks that left me feeling a bit nervous. But at the same time, I had to admire her confidence and skill – she was definitely one to watch.

The End: A Day of Drifting in the Dry

As we packed up our gear and said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the experience. It had been a day of excitement and adrenaline-fueled driving, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. And as I looked over at Phil's camera and card, I knew that we would be able to review our progress and analyze our performance in full detail.

So if you're looking for some high-octane drifting action, make sure to check out Colette's video – it was definitely a wild ride. And who knows? Maybe next time we'll be able to get back out on the track and push the limits even further. Until then, stay tuned – we'll be back with more driving excitement soon!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome guys to today's video it was the worst start to the day ever trying to make peanut butter waffles and this organic peanut butter I don't know who would ever buy organic peanut butter it was my last choice they were all at a jiff they were all at a Skippy all at a nice brand nothing left only thing I had on the shelves the only thing I had left to eat organic peanut butter I go this morning I go to open the lid and spread it on my waffles I open the lid and it's so liquidy I kid you not it might as well have been lemonade it just poured out all over the floor all over my brand-new shoes that I just got just started wearing I'm having a terrible day terrible time do everything to add to this it's an awful day I'm so sad so sad it's awful we're gonna have to go drifting and do poor things it's just gonna be the worst ever I was so sad she suggested she was like you know what to chew you up we oughta we ought to load the cars up bring the Z bring the e36 bring the side-by-side go back out to the compound and go have some fun so because of that little peanut butter scenario we're going to go have some fun otherwise I wasn't going to do anything fun today but the peanut butter just maybe want to do some fun stuff that's exciting are you excited to go wreck your car yeah yeah no I'm excited to just everyone thought I wasn't gonna drive it any Lord as it was too pretty and this is gonna just be ripping the band-aid off so I'm gonna get my first stuffs and my new paint and my new Bosch bars just uh break out a little so I think this is a skate park where Rudnick got hurt real bad really yeah poor Eddie I miss him he's a good dude I'm excited to drive at my new interior actual seats and harnesses now so I feel like I'm gonna just feel a lot better how are we gonna expose that today since your content won't be up for a while actually I'm gonna have that up very soon and maybe even tonight so I'm catching up you're not as far ahead as you think anymore I've never ahead yeah well okay your your real time I'm a little back but I'm getting caught up all right but anyway yeah we're going drifting today I'm excited to get some proper testing in the e36 in the dry first out I'm probably gonna just go get some logs send it over to these Seamaster guys make sure everything's looking good and finally put the cooling system to the test see how it does with the grape Co doesn't the new drive shaft and I got some fun really the only change I made to bring it out of the compound you'll notice I raised the front end of this thing about an inch that way if I drop I won't chip up my offenders like before so fronts raised a little bit I'm gonna take some aggression under the rear so I don't rob a ton but other than that she's gonna be ready to rip as I said first laps out we're just gonna go get some logs send it over the ECU master guys and make sure everything's looking good on this thing carrying so much grip for the compound it's not even funny all right so time stay pretty good we're only at 177 however it looks like my laptop is gonna want to close on me so I'm gonna need to strategically place this a little bit better gearing wise ii seems good so pull down a second light enter and third car feels real loose on handbrake the way that the e36 chassis works kind of cool it's still kind of hard for me to gauge speed though way to ripped up for the compound that second the third shift is a little tricky which I just gonna take some getting used to the car cooling temps are up to 193 it's still not too bad got to figure out that second the third shift a little better huh it's like I'm almost wanting to go into first I need to go over more well that's Phil whoops there we go that's what I wanted things really easy to drive just that second a third shifts gonna really beat on me Oh miss shifted into the fifth yep yeah but do this thing sounds good and it looks so good and drift dude it's so hard to go from second to third yeah my card about there too so I just want to get testing in to see how the card view I can help format I went in ahead and lower the duty cycle for goose in half my guess is now would be around 500 before I was around 600 wheel I'm curious to see the difference the CEPA stays a little bit cooler not pushing it to max so many Belgians first ride in this one was hurt in the bike that was their Scilab I know it's coming there's s compared to the horses are as like tight and put the rally car yeah I did please at economic ages I feel like I might have had to come through something but all new I'll jump into a really dark time following Sean and then I started try and leave the car in third rather than doing the downshift in the beginning it works so well that I was able to give him a very light scoff we were so close in transition I'm also there's a little bump from this guy over here so the windshield was already slightly cracked from when we did the kill switch I don't think it was just enough to make it spread that's so crazy I know there's a chip on my wheel closer to my wheel hit your wheel and somehow that cracker went - that's pretty cool thing to take credit for not okay any cars she brought us root beer floats so this girl took an hour and a half go get subs because Shulman refused to eat subway that's wrong true or false is that true or false did you know but he refused to eat subway cracked is that true statement he said he said you could go anywhere but some like Subway's call him oh boy we all looks a little hurt yeah so I think I've been driving for like the last hour but they're really messed up alignment through it feels really bad okay Oh dead goats a side skirt yep yep Ethan encouraged me with a very cool camera and card that you guys already saw and we got a little too saucy a little bit we beached it it's pretty stuck yep yep oh yeah I did not that was definitely not good overall we had a good day we definitely smashed up our cars a bit d-36 is definitely how many times has he stalled it now and we are packed up in here it's pouring we were planning on continuing this drift session all the way home but unfortunately the rain has put a damper on that so I must thank you for watching this video if you have any words Colette she was getting pretty aggressive with her entries you guys ought to
