**Kiters Case Review: A Comprehensive Guide**
When I first laid eyes on the Kitters case, I was immediately drawn to its sleek and futuristic design, reminiscent of cyberpunk aesthetics. The case itself is a work of art, with intricate details and features that set it apart from other cases in its class. However, as with any build, there's more to it than meets the eye.
One of my biggest concerns when building with this case was the physical hard drive placement. In order to optimize airflow, I had to relocate the hard drive from the left side of the casing to the right side. This proved to be a bit of a challenge, as the wiring mess and i/o cables made it difficult to maneuver. Fortunately, after some trial and error, I was able to successfully reposition the hard drive without any major issues.
But that wasn't the only hurdle I faced during the build process. The buttons on the cpu cooler height were a bit tricky to navigate, and I had to be careful not to damage them during installation. Additionally, the lighting system in this case is quite impressive, with multiple modes available using the remote control. However, some of these modes seemed to malfunction or reset themselves after use, which was frustrating.
To mitigate this issue, I opted for a DIY solution by installing easy DIY Fab fans in the case. These fans came pre-installed with controllers and lights that worked seamlessly with the case's system. They also helped to enhance air cooling capabilities without adding significant bulk to the build.
Overall, my experience with the Kitters case was mixed. On one hand, the final product is indeed a beautiful piece of engineering, with sleek lines and intricate details that set it apart from other cases in its class. However, the build process itself was arduous and required patience and persistence to navigate.
Despite these challenges, I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a unique and stylish build solution. With some careful planning and attention to detail, you can create a truly impressive system that showcases your cyberpunk aesthetic. So if you're considering building with this case, don't be intimidated by the complexity – it's worth it in the end.
**Recommendations**
If you're looking for a way to enhance your Kitters case experience, I recommend installing easy DIY Fab fans. These fans are designed specifically for this case and offer seamless integration with the lighting system. They're also highly customizable, so you can tailor them to fit your specific needs.
In addition to these fans, I would suggest exploring other customization options available in the Kitters community. With a little creativity and experimentation, you can transform this case into a truly one-of-a-kind build that showcases your unique style.
**Conclusion**
The Kitters case is indeed a work of art, with sleek lines and intricate details that set it apart from other cases in its class. While the build process itself was challenging, the end result is well worth the effort. With careful planning, attention to detail, and a willingness to experiment, you can create a truly impressive system that showcases your cyberpunk aesthetic.
So if you're looking for a unique and stylish build solution, I highly recommend considering this case. Just be prepared to put in some extra time and effort into making it shine. With its impressive lighting system, sleek design, and customization options, the Kitters case is sure to impress even the most discerning builders.
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay guys i've been very excited about trying to do something with this kiters case i think i'm saying it right i'm not a hundred percent it's k-e-d-i-e-r-s i'm gonna say kiters but cadeirs cadooters kadidis whatever it's an interesting name and this case has been on amazon for a while it was sold out for a bit i had to do i or i have to do a build for a gaming machine and these guys are into cyberpunk and stuff so i figured this is very punky now unfortunately in this build i don't get the water cool it uh maybe later um as it wasn't in the budget so we're gonna air cool but later on hopefully we get to revisit this case and do some water cooling so of course in the front here we have a couple fans that mean nothing to me and the reason why i say that is they're right up against the glass they're not going to be pulling any air they're there for looks there's no way they have any other use than just lights just something cool other than that i can't see it being anything okay so there is a few things right off the bat that i noticed that i found kind of odd one of course was the fans pointing at the glass that makes no sense to me two uh those fans aren't going to move any air whatsoever they're definitely just for looks when it's running i will put my hand behind and see if just action air movement i would be very very impressed if there's any at all the other is the fact that the wiring in this case is just all over the place so i am so confused here it's almost like it's been used but it didn't look used it didn't look like it was opened it's almost like someone on a friday oh i gotta go drink my beer so this one's done and that was the end of it they even tied the cables for the power and everything like in a bow with themselves instead of using a tie so see how it overhangs it's like a bag put on glass now what i mean by that is it's like the glass was put inside then it got heat shrunk to the glass and then both halves were shrunk together because this is connected to the back and the front so it's good luck ripping it off so if you were a fan of taking off that for the first time for that new oh yeah 25 minutes later you're not a fan anymore as you can see here a complete mess this is supposed to be a uh shroud for hiding wires and there's nothing inside there you think this would be all tied up and put inside this look at this this is this is absolutely a ridiculous mess and what else i'm finding weird is just little ties right at the end of the cables here and instead of being tied up the ties are just weirdly here i don't get it you're gonna have an ssd here and i guess that's about it for hiding at the back as far as this goes this could be a little bit of a wiring nightmare um but it's something i'll have to try and figure out we have a problem houston so huh let's check this back there's a remote control it comes with all your screws some zip ties and a couple more of these nice little aluminum knobs that are shaved and look kind of cool for your glass there's a couple extra ones here in case you lose them how am i supposed to power up these fans make them work how are they supposed to light how they supposed to spin how they supposed to get power the case is missing the most crucial ingredient unless i was to rip out all these fans which is not why i bought it it's not in the budget is missing guys so an hour on the phone with amazon i'm getting a special treatment another one's going to be here tomorrow oh sorry i didn't know we were back all right so you can see different clothing different day different expression so this is the second case now the second case you would think there's no way in hell we're going to get two cases with anything missing it can't happen no way can that happen i'd like to start off with what was missing and it was very minor so i can't really jump down the throat on this and i'll tell you why but it's still something overlooked as you can see here one of the thumb screws is gone so one thumb screw was missing not a big deal i checked the box it wasn't in there it was just not put on um overall the reason why i'm not too frustrated it is frustrating because i'm trying to do a review on a product that the first one came of course missing the fan control board this one does have the fan control board so very happy about that um that did like i said in the previous part they do give you some thumb screws replacements in the bag here so we'll let it slide this build has plagued me i'll explain what's going into it in a little bit but start off with the case missing the motherboard fan control system then we hit the next one and it's missing the thumb screw no big deal again as i said there are some in here thank you kiters for that but the m.2 that i ordered the nvme for the operating drive did not show up and this machine needs to be built today so i'm going to have to go to standard ssd and i will upgrade his mechanical drive to compensate to make sure that the person is happy whereas the drive was just still going to be an os drive and then a data drive so i'm going to double his data drive and that way i will feel a lot better about how i have to do this now overall i will say and looking at the other case the other night i think that was about two two days ago uh when i first started it i'm not sure how the fans are yet i'm not sure about this airflow i think this is really stupid two fans up against the glass now if it's just there for looks and that's all they did it for cool if that is the actual reason why they did it if they actually did it thinking it's blowing air across the motherboard you have a millimeter maybe maybe i can't see how it would work but i will check that i will actually put my hand in there after everything's up and running and find out if it's actually moving air if it's moving somewhere hey bonus it's going to go across the video card area that's always a good thing now i'm not going to get to build this machine the way i wanted to build it and that was a full-on uh water cool like a cyberpunk thing now later on the customer said that that may happen and if that does i will definitely do a video on that for you guys because i would really love to see this cyberpunk okay so cool thing this case is greeted with seven fans seven rgb i believe they're digital rgb so they should be argb fans so you have two up top two on the front one down in the on the bottom part and two here on the side this thing is going to be a light monster which makes me think deeply about not having to light up a ram because light up ram now it just may look like too much so we'll have to see how that looks before i decide to put any light up ram in it i'm starting to look at the not putting light up ram as i think this thing is going to be a light monster and if you don't want a lot of light in a room so power supply will go here at the bottom like pretty much any newer style uh system at to date anyway and i'm going to actually put a rgb power supply on here you're not really going to see it much but it will do some lighting at the bottom just to add that little extra to the bottom here also a couple key things that i wanted to point out on the back here you have a spot to install your physical hard drive and a spot to install a two and a half inch so one three and a half one two and a half and then of course your motherboard would support whatever nvmes whether it be one two or three so you're pretty much covered in any modern case build down here you have a spot to hide some of your wires as they got running here so unlike the last case all these wires were loose and i'm seeing still some of these weird twist ties just kind of floating around interesting thing recommended is to install your hard drive and your solid state first before installing anything else in the unit and i think that might be based on the fact that you have to run screws through the other side into the hard drive you're going to water cool this beast it's going to be interesting because your rads will have to be outside the case not inside and the reason for that is you don't have a lot of footprint inside so your rads would be outside again going with the cyberpunk theme if i really get to do this you can put two 240 rads outside and then what you would do is you would run your hoses in through these holes or create your own or through the glass whatever you wish to do because at that point you're cyberpunking it just go for broke overall you're getting an open air case if these fans are going to move the air i hope they move you have no reason to be running hot so in this build it's going to be all air and we're going to find out how much air it really does move and we're going to find out what kind of temps we get because that is going to be very important in an open air style chassis like this man we should be able to do some amazing temps with this bad boy now what i wanted to point out is when you're going for a case like this these fans you can see that i can touch them right they have these guards right here now what i want to point and make clear if you have small pets or a dog like my puppy 120-pound king shepherd he's going to want to put his nose there maybe while they're spinning so i would highly recommend this case does not go on the floor and i also would highly recommend you don't put this case on the floor anyway as being an open chassis it's going to be taking air in and it's going to be a lot of flow so with a lot of flow you're going to have a lot of stuff picked up and if it's on the floor dust especially on a hard floor is going to go up through it's going to end up all over your board sticking to your glass it's just going to look like hell so i highly recommend something like this and when you're done this should be a good enough showpiece for anyone to want to display on top of their desk okay so for this build we're going to use rip jaw i'm going to start off with the black and see how i like it rip jaw 3200 pc4 put in a 120 solid state for the operations and we're gonna upgrade them to a two terabyte drive instead of a one terabyte we're going to go with an as a 650 watt 80 bronze argb and we're going to go with the mpg x570 gaming edge wi-fi motherboard from msi i wanted this guy to make sure he has his upgrade ability and pci 4 for when that time happens it is running a 3600 x so we have 16 gigs of ram in this guy and we're going to run for now to keep this budget down a x our rx sorry 580 from gigabyte overclocked gaming edition i'm back i don't know what to say here other than it's been four days so at this point you know that i've had the problem with the original case minor problem of course with the other case and it has been a uh troubling time say the least um i guess i'll start off with the pros of this case i made quite a bit of notes here i don't normally do this normally everything's from my head and i just couldn't do it this time and the pros are very little now of course the case looks absolutely gorgeous when we start to look at lighting up changing modes whenever it finally changes modes it's been really another thing i guess to talk about we'll get to that um overall airflow on this case is actually absolutely beautiful uh cpu is staying at around and i'm overclocked to 4.49 per core locked all cores at six core 12 thread on a 3600 x it's a minor overclock but it's a really good overclock and this unit is still holding a 31 32 degrees the video card right now is holding around 30 to 32 degree area as well but at this point it's not being pushed one thing i wanted to talk about which i thought was going to be a big con and that was these fans up against the glass now there is just enough space i don't know how but it's moving some decent air across the video card and the bottom part of the motherboard so i have to give it a little bit of props not liking it it looks cool there's no doubt about it but it actually is moving some air and some air is better than no air the case is actually pretty well built construction of the internal frame is pretty solid a little bit of play when the glass is off which would you expect considering it's a very open case chassis but overall once built very solid uh decently well built that way i've seen a lot of people talking about problems with getting the video card and everything in that things need to be shifted and so on that wasn't the case for me it dropped in no issues whatsoever so i don't know what the cause was on their part but anyway it did drop in um also it's on right now and i gotta say for an open air case it's pretty quiet uh fans are on pretty blasty um i gotta say that uh isn't that noisy i mean you might hear a little bit of background noise and that is this because it's about the only thing running in here right now sorry about the layout at this point now this is going to be a focal point moving forward but there's so much going on in here i can't even show the rest of it there's even stuff piled up right here you can kind of see which is getting on my nerves but that's what happens when you're trying to make things better okay i really really tried to love this case if you are a pro builder go ahead knock yourself out if you are your first time or second time building a pc stay the heck away from this case let me explain all right so first thing not a big thing but first thing these fans need to be removed when you're working on the internal of the case you are not going to get anything done proper if you do not in fact you can't even mount the power supply unless you remove these you need to literally get down in there and the fans are just in the way which is not a big deal it's just a small con you just have to take these two screws out on each fan and out they come now i say it's a con it's not a big con but i guess it's a con in the fact that the case comes pre-built if it came disassembled then it wouldn't be a con at all because you'd be putting them in last and that would be avoided one part that i found was not quite right was when mounting the psu i had to leave screws loose to kind of get that last screw hole lined up it was a bit finicky that way but once i got them lined up everything's screwed in and yeah it's a psu it mounts but it doesn't mount as easy as a let's say be quiet case or something like that or a thermal take or corsair or even a bad corsair you line it up the power supply usually still lines up with the holes this one there's a bit of plate to that and knowing that there's actually only a little bit of ledge there's no floor in this computer so the down here if you move it over just just just a millimeter too much the power supply has no more extra support and i didn't like that so that was a bit of a chore as well now i put this as a con it's not so much a con as you're building the case as you're going on it's just kind of odd that a manufacturer this day and age would make you do this but mount your hard drives before mounting any hardware example do not mount your motherboard till your hard drives are mounted reason being you can get away with the solid state but your physical hard drive the two terabyte i put in this machine the screws are underneath the motherboard so you need to actually screw through the back plate the motherboard is going on to into the hard drive now why is that a con well your hard drive dies i have to remove the motherboard to get that hard drive out that is a huge con if i just want to upgrade my hard drive i'm going external on this thing simple as that i'm going to call this a bit of a fire hazard slash destroy your machine slash blow up i don't know this is the easiest way to put this but on the first case i let it slide because i figured there's no way that can happen on the second case and that was those little twist ties that i had talked about on the dangling on each fan wire well that was left on every single one of these plugged into the fan hub and if nobody can understand why that would be a problem well they're metal twist ties so if any bit of the rubber on that metal is off in any way or the tip touches hits your control board your control board goes pop there goes that or maybe a spark maybe a fire who knows anyway i am going to mention this to kiters because i think that is something i think is just laziness i think it's uh somebody's building on a friday need to go home and drink their beer i don't know what it is but it's pure laziness and it can actually cause either hardware malfunction or something worse and i don't want to see that happen so if you're buying this case please make sure you take those stupid twist ties off throw them in the garbage because they're not worth anything else okay uh this was something i thought would be more of a problem as i went on further it wasn't and that is after you put the psu in because of the narrow bottom part here of the slope in there's not a lot of space in front of the psu well there's no floor either so you're not really going to try and hide wires there so i had to get creative tuck wires down the frame coming down here and then kind of go under the fans just so you wouldn't look in and see this big pile of wire mess and uh i'll get to that later but this was not a fun machine to hide wires on let me tell you and i would recommend that if you're going to build with this case m.2 all the way and have none of those extra wires that was a huge problem here because i was running a normal solid state and a physical hard drive you had to run sata cables you really don't want to have that in this case it was not fun to route and i don't recommend it to anybody this was interesting atx motherboard mounts so on this board they're all tig welded you can add some there's some in the bag to add for different motherboards well if you guys remember a lot of the older atx motherboards have four holes on the very far end not three like they do today well this case was built i guess with the other atx boards in mind which means future proofing the case was kind of an issue now it's not a big deal if it was completely removable but it wasn't so i had to take vice grips clip onto the one post you weren't going to use and snap it off now that wasn't very hard to do but if you were a novice or you were someone building for the first time and you put your board over that say goodbye to your board or wonder why it doesn't post when it's shorted out i am not done the change the motherboard fan the cpu fan so you want to put something cooler on there you want to uh i don't know maybe it's gummed up you want to clean it now you're taking your motherboard out yeah yep they decided that there was not a good idea to make enough room to take the bracket off now i understand in this build being so small and narrow and keeping it in a small footprint because this is technically a mini atx case so it's a full full-size atx m80x itx capable board or case but doing so things overhang and the steel frame actually does cover one side of that plate now if you can get at it by just using the factory plate which most amd water coolers and so on will they'll use the factory plate you can put your hand there hold it there and get it done so it can be done but not always you may need to remove your board i want you guys to also know that so possibility of removing the motherboard if changing the cooler having to remove the motherboard no matter what if changing the physical hard drive when i wanted to say i would get back to the wiring mess front i o nightmare front i o is on the left side of the casing facing it all they had to do was move it to the right side and the wiring would have been easily gotten rid of but nope put it on the left side don't know why i have to take everything they have including the usb 3 thick wire and try and tuck it in between the frame and the fans to get rid of it to try and hide it it was able to be done but with some force or you could remove the fans tuck it all hold it there put the fans back in and hope that you've done a great job so hiding the i o cables a little tricky but done didn't like that all they had to do put the buttons on the right side cpu cooler height you got about you gotta just be careful right so if you're buying a cpu cooler for this case measure the gap between the board and the glass from the mounts uh you can get away with some taller coolers but i would not say too many the lighting the lighting is very interesting i had it set to something i changed the mode here it tends to change what i think it should do i don't know why sometimes it tends to say i'm not gonna have the light on anymore then you have to press the power button and turn the light back on i don't know if that's a safety feature of not running the lights for too long you know could cause heat in an open air chassis i had it set to a certain mode it's not even there anymore there are a ton of modes off the remote which is really nice you can still use the button on the front i find the button to be more a pain in the butt than it is worth while being there they should have just said hey use the remote much easier i'm telling you right now in this review use the remote much easier oh that goes over a lot of the stuff that i wanted to talk about i don't know if you guys are interested in something like this just remember that the end result is nice i am not saying don't get the case i'm just trying to explain what you're in for the kiters case is a very cool looking cyberpunk-ish i really hope i get to revisit it sort of because i'm hoping to do a custom water cooling loop in this and i think that that could be a ton of fun so until then i've done what i can to make it as air cooling as air cooled as possible and honestly it is running very decently cool there's a lot of air movement there you go the lights are off must have gotten warm but if i hit this power button they're back on thank you for putting the nicest lighting control system ever in this system you know what i'm just going to go out and say this if you're buying this case highly recommend putting easy diy fab fans in here right after you buy it their controller their lights their product definitely don't give you a problem and i will leave a link for easy diy down in description below because they definitely need to go in this case guys the review was based on how this machine comes what it's like it is a very nice build it is a tedious build but in the end you do get something very nice out of it till next time guys i hope you enjoyed the review on this kiters case there are different colors of course i'll leave a link actually to my uh amazon affiliate you'll see that there's red bases white bases and so on and it's up to you if you want to build in this case again the end result is something nice if you are cyber punk-ish and that's your type of want that's your type of look you would definitely love to water cool this thing for sure having hoses come out and do different things i think this case will be just amazing now the fans have decided to just stop but the lights are still on power again no hmm fans oh i have a fan button that i never hit to turn it off so there you go thanks for watching until next time guys game over youokay guys i've been very excited about trying to do something with this kiters case i think i'm saying it right i'm not a hundred percent it's k-e-d-i-e-r-s i'm gonna say kiters but cadeirs cadooters kadidis whatever it's an interesting name and this case has been on solid state first before installing anything else in the unit and i think that might be based on the fact that you have to run screws through the other side into the hard drive you're going to water cool this beast it's going to be interesting because your rads will have to be outside the case not inside and the reason for that is you don't have a lot of footprint inside so your rads would be outside again going with the cyberpunk theme if i really get to do this you can put two 240 rads outside and then what you would do is you would run your hoses in through these holes or create your own or through the glass whatever you wish to do because at that point you're cyberpunking it just go for broke overall you're getting an open air case if these fans are going to move the air i hope they move you have no reason to be running hot so in this build it's going to be all air and we're going to find out how much air it really does move and we're going to find out what kind of temps we get because that is going to be very important in an open air style chassis like this man we should be able to do some amazing temps with this bad boy now what i wanted to point out is when you're going for a case like this these fans you can see that i can touch them right they have these guards right here now what i want to point and make clear if you have small pets or a dog like my puppy 120-pound king shepherd he's going to want to put his nose there maybe while they're spinning so i would highly recommend this case does not go on the floor and i also would highly recommend you don't put this case on the floor anyway as being an open chassis it's going to be taking air in and it's going to be a lot of flow so with a lot of flow you're going to have a lot of stuff picked up and if it's on the floor dust especially on a hard floor is going to go up through it's going to end up all over your board sticking to your glass it's just going to look like hell so i highly recommend something like this and when you're done this should be a good enough showpiece for anyone to want to display on top of their desk okay so for this build we're going to use rip jaw i'm going to start off with the black and see how i like it rip jaw 3200 pc4 put in a 120 solid state for the operations and we're gonna upgrade them to a two terabyte drive instead of a one terabyte we're going to go with an as a 650 watt 80 bronze argb and we're going to go with the mpg x570 gaming edge wi-fi motherboard from msi i wanted this guy to make sure he has his upgrade ability and pci 4 for when that time happens it is running a 3600 x so we have 16 gigs of ram in this guy and we're going to run for now to keep this budget down a x our rx sorry 580 from gigabyte overclocked gaming edition i'm back i don't know what to say here other than it's been four days so at this point you know that i've had the problem with the original case minor problem of course with the other case and it has been a uh troubling time say the least um i guess i'll start off with the pros of this case i made quite a bit of notes here i don't normally do this normally everything's from my head and i just couldn't do it this time and the pros are very little now of course the case looks absolutely gorgeous when we start to look at lighting up changing modes whenever it finally changes modes it's been really another thing i guess to talk about we'll get to that um overall airflow on this case is actually absolutely beautiful uh cpu is staying at around and i'm overclocked to 4.49 per core locked all cores at six core 12 thread on a 3600 x it's a minor overclock but it's a really good overclock and this unit is still holding a 31 32 degrees the video card right now is holding around 30 to 32 degree area as well but at this point it's not being pushed one thing i wanted to talk about which i thought was going to be a big con and that was these fans up against the glass now there is just enough space i don't know how but it's moving some decent air across the video card and the bottom part of the motherboard so i have to give it a little bit of props not liking it it looks cool there's no doubt about it but it actually is moving some air and some air is better than no air the case is actually pretty well built construction of the internal frame is pretty solid a little bit of play when the glass is off which would you expect considering it's a very open case chassis but overall once built very solid uh decently well built that way i've seen a lot of people talking about problems with getting the video card and everything in that things need to be shifted and so on that wasn't the case for me it dropped in no issues whatsoever so i don't know what the cause was on their part but anyway it did drop in um also it's on right now and i gotta say for an open air case it's pretty quiet uh fans are on pretty blasty um i gotta say that uh isn't that noisy i mean you might hear a little bit of background noise and that is this because it's about the only thing running in here right now sorry about the layout at this point now this is going to be a focal point moving forward but there's so much going on in here i can't even show the rest of it there's even stuff piled up right here you can kind of see which is getting on my nerves but that's what happens when you're trying to make things better okay i really really tried to love this case if you are a pro builder go ahead knock yourself out if you are your first time or second time building a pc stay the heck away from this case let me explain all right so first thing not a big thing but first thing these fans need to be removed when you're working on the internal of the case you are not going to get anything done proper if you do not in fact you can't even mount the power supply unless you remove these you need to literally get down in there and the fans are just in the way which is not a big deal it's just a small con you just have to take these two screws out on each fan and out they come now i say it's a con it's not a big con but i guess it's a con in the fact that the case comes pre-built if it came disassembled then it wouldn't be a con at all because you'd be putting them in last and that would be avoided one part that i found was not quite right was when mounting the psu i had to leave screws loose to kind of get that last screw hole lined up it was a bit finicky that way but once i got them lined up everything's screwed in and yeah it's a psu it mounts but it doesn't mount as easy as a let's say be quiet case or something like that or a thermal take or corsair or even a bad corsair you line it up the power supply usually still lines up with the holes this one there's a bit of plate to that and knowing that there's actually only a little bit of ledge there's no floor in this computer so the down here if you move it over just just just a millimeter too much the power supply has no more extra support and i didn't like that so that was a bit of a chore as well now i put this as a con it's not so much a con as you're building the case as you're going on it's just kind of odd that a manufacturer this day and age would make you do this but mount your hard drives before mounting any hardware example do not mount your motherboard till your hard drives are mounted reason being you can get away with the solid state but your physical hard drive the two terabyte i put in this machine the screws are underneath the motherboard so you need to actually screw through the back plate the motherboard is going on to into the hard drive now why is that a con well your hard drive dies i have to remove the motherboard to get that hard drive out that is a huge con if i just want to upgrade my hard drive i'm going external on this thing simple as that i'm going to call this a bit of a fire hazard slash destroy your machine slash blow up i don't know this is the easiest way to put this but on the first case i let it slide because i figured there's no way that can happen on the second case and that was those little twist ties that i had talked about on the dangling on each fan wire well that was left on every single one of these plugged into the fan hub and if nobody can understand why that would be a problem well they're metal twist ties so if any bit of the rubber on that metal is off in any way or the tip touches hits your control board your control board goes pop there goes that or maybe a spark maybe a fire who knows anyway i am going to mention this to kiters because i think that is something i think is just laziness i think it's uh somebody's building on a friday need to go home and drink their beer i don't know what it is but it's pure laziness and it can actually cause either hardware malfunction or something worse and i don't want to see that happen so if you're buying this case please make sure you take those stupid twist ties off throw them in the garbage because they're not worth anything else okay uh this was something i thought would be more of a problem as i went on further it wasn't and that is after you put the psu in because of the narrow bottom part here of the slope in there's not a lot of space in front of the psu well there's no floor either so you're not really going to try and hide wires there so i had to get creative tuck wires down the frame coming down here and then kind of go under the fans just so you wouldn't look in and see this big pile of wire mess and uh i'll get to that later but this was not a fun machine to hide wires on let me tell you and i would recommend that if you're going to build with this case m.2 all the way and have none of those extra wires that was a huge problem here because i was running a normal solid state and a physical hard drive you had to run sata cables you really don't want to have that in this case it was not fun to route and i don't recommend it to anybody this was interesting atx motherboard mounts so on this board they're all tig welded you can add some there's some in the bag to add for different motherboards well if you guys remember a lot of the older atx motherboards have four holes on the very far end not three like they do today well this case was built i guess with the other atx boards in mind which means future proofing the case was kind of an issue now it's not a big deal if it was completely removable but it wasn't so i had to take vice grips clip onto the one post you weren't going to use and snap it off now that wasn't very hard to do but if you were a novice or you were someone building for the first time and you put your board over that say goodbye to your board or wonder why it doesn't post when it's shorted out i am not done the change the motherboard fan the cpu fan so you want to put something cooler on there you want to uh i don't know maybe it's gummed up you want to clean it now you're taking your motherboard out yeah yep they decided that there was not a good idea to make enough room to take the bracket off now i understand in this build being so small and narrow and keeping it in a small footprint because this is technically a mini atx case so it's a full full-size atx m80x itx capable board or case but doing so things overhang and the steel frame actually does cover one side of that plate now if you can get at it by just using the factory plate which most amd water coolers and so on will they'll use the factory plate you can put your hand there hold it there and get it done so it can be done but not always you may need to remove your board i want you guys to also know that so possibility of removing the motherboard if changing the cooler having to remove the motherboard no matter what if changing the physical hard drive when i wanted to say i would get back to the wiring mess front i o nightmare front i o is on the left side of the casing facing it all they had to do was move it to the right side and the wiring would have been easily gotten rid of but nope put it on the left side don't know why i have to take everything they have including the usb 3 thick wire and try and tuck it in between the frame and the fans to get rid of it to try and hide it it was able to be done but with some force or you could remove the fans tuck it all hold it there put the fans back in and hope that you've done a great job so hiding the i o cables a little tricky but done didn't like that all they had to do put the buttons on the right side cpu cooler height you got about you gotta just be careful right so if you're buying a cpu cooler for this case measure the gap between the board and the glass from the mounts uh you can get away with some taller coolers but i would not say too many the lighting the lighting is very interesting i had it set to something i changed the mode here it tends to change what i think it should do i don't know why sometimes it tends to say i'm not gonna have the light on anymore then you have to press the power button and turn the light back on i don't know if that's a safety feature of not running the lights for too long you know could cause heat in an open air chassis i had it set to a certain mode it's not even there anymore there are a ton of modes off the remote which is really nice you can still use the button on the front i find the button to be more a pain in the butt than it is worth while being there they should have just said hey use the remote much easier i'm telling you right now in this review use the remote much easier oh that goes over a lot of the stuff that i wanted to talk about i don't know if you guys are interested in something like this just remember that the end result is nice i am not saying don't get the case i'm just trying to explain what you're in for the kiters case is a very cool looking cyberpunk-ish i really hope i get to revisit it sort of because i'm hoping to do a custom water cooling loop in this and i think that that could be a ton of fun so until then i've done what i can to make it as air cooling as air cooled as possible and honestly it is running very decently cool there's a lot of air movement there you go the lights are off must have gotten warm but if i hit this power button they're back on thank you for putting the nicest lighting control system ever in this system you know what i'm just going to go out and say this if you're buying this case highly recommend putting easy diy fab fans in here right after you buy it their controller their lights their product definitely don't give you a problem and i will leave a link for easy diy down in description below because they definitely need to go in this case guys the review was based on how this machine comes what it's like it is a very nice build it is a tedious build but in the end you do get something very nice out of it till next time guys i hope you enjoyed the review on this kiters case there are different colors of course i'll leave a link actually to my uh amazon affiliate you'll see that there's red bases white bases and so on and it's up to you if you want to build in this case again the end result is something nice if you are cyber punk-ish and that's your type of want that's your type of look you would definitely love to water cool this thing for sure having hoses come out and do different things i think this case will be just amazing now the fans have decided to just stop but the lights are still on power again no hmm fans oh i have a fan button that i never hit to turn it off so there you go thanks for watching until next time guys game over you
