The Best Gadgets & Devices I personally have used in 2014

My Experience with Aqua Touch Electric Shaver and Other Products I've Used in 2014

I'd like to share with you my experience with some products I purchased in 2014, which I still use on a daily basis. One of them is the Aqua Touch electric shaver that I mentioned earlier. This product has been working perfectly for me since I started using it about six months ago. The good thing about this shaver is that it's completely water-resistant, making it ideal for shaving in the shower or bathtub. I apply my normal shaving foam and use it as a shaver, and I get pretty clean shaves. What I really like about this product is the battery backup provided on it. It can charge quickly in about 50 minutes, and it lasts me for about seven to eight days. This means that even when I'm traveling, I don't have to carry the charger with me.

Another product that I've been using since 2014 is my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.5. Although it's not the most responsive tablet out there, I like it because it supports multitasking and has a multi-window feature. It also does support USB OTG, which makes it easier for me to transfer files to and from other devices. One thing that I really like about this tablet is its screen quality. Even in a pitch-dark room, the screen brightness can be adjusted to such low levels that it doesn't hurt my eyes. The only drawback of this tablet is that the touchscreen can get a little bit laggy at times.

In recent weeks, I've started testing a new product called TV+. It's an HDMI dongle that connects to your television and turns it into a smart TV. This device offers a lot more functionality compared to Google Chromecast. It allows me to stream YouTube videos, life TV, entertainment channels, and Indian channels directly to my TV. Another great feature of this device is its ability to transmit local media stored on my PC or other devices to the TV. The best part about this product is its pricing – it's priced in India for around 2,000 rupees and is available on Snapdeal and Flipkart.

Finally, I'd like to talk about an accessory that I've been using since 2014 – a Kovo HDMI switch. If you have a lot of HDMI peripherals, your TV might only have two ports. This device helps me manage my multiple gadgets by switching between them with ease. It's been working perfectly for me, and I'm impressed with its performance.

Overall, these products have been working well for me since 2014, and I'm happy to share my experience with them.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and a very Happy New Year to all of you and this video is going to be very different I'm not going to talk about smartphones in this video but I'm going to talk about the devices that I have purchased in 2014 and I use all these devices on a daily basis so let's get on with this and I've made a list and the first uh device that I actually use a lot is this Gro headphones these are the sr61 and uh actually I didn't purchase this I got this as a gift from my best friend and uh I have to say these are some incredible headphones if you love audio uh these are one of the best I would say on a budget I think so these cost around $100 and the audio quality that I got from this was amazing and I just love this and I use them almost every day in fact all my smartphones that I test I do the testing with this because it provides a very clean output so I can easily judge the quality of the sound using these so these are the gro Prestige series sr60 headphones uh the second on the list is a computer that I purchased in 2014 that is the Mac Mini but this is not the latest version that I purchased this is the late 2012 edition which was the core i7 and it is a quad core uh what do you say uh processor it has and it's based on the core i7 I did upgrade it a little bit I upgraded the RAM and removed the mechanical Hardware drive and put SSD and uh I was actually uh I'm actually pretty impressed with this uh one and uh I would say I got this as a what do you say uh stop gap for a couple of months I thought that I would be able to upgrade to the Mac Pro uh the new Mac Pro but it is very expensive the one I have wanted the six score was almost around 45,000 in India about 280,000 bucks and I didn't have the budget for it so I got this Mac mini hoping that I could save for the Mac Pro and surprisingly it has been working very well for me it has surpassed my expectations yes I do all my video editing with this uh one in fact my last 200 odd videos that you see on my channel are all edited on this Mac Mini and yes it works pretty well I would say for my needs but sometimes in heavy projects it does struggle up a bit but again I'm pretty impressed with that device but again do note that the Mac mini 2014 edition that is currently available is not that great because though it has a core i7 processor it's just a dual core processor and Apple has also uh restrict you cannot upgrade the RAM on it the ram is soldered so that way I prefer the uh late 2012 model that I'm using uh next uh I am again this is a again a computer related accessories as I use a Mac Mini and as I work with video I need a lot of storage for storage I uh am using a Cate 2 tbte usb3 hard drive and it has been working great in fact all my final cut projects directly reside on that and it's connected to the Mac Mini y USB 3 and it works great so you don't have to spend a lot of money if you have a Mac related computer you can just go with that Cate Drive in fact I'll have the links for all these products in the show note so that you can check them out in fact I have also posted reviews for some of these product so again make sure you check out the show notes next if we move the this is a router uh that I just bought because many of you were asking me to test out some budget related routers and and I was really happy with the performance of this this is the TPL link N300 I think so I don't have the box here and I'll just say the model number that is the TL wr841n and I think so this sells in India for around 1,400 rupees to, 1500 rupees on flip cart uh and it is the best performing router on a budget uh specifically if you're looking for a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router in fact just TP L me sent me this uh Archer C20 about and I've been testing this for about last 2 weeks and this is a budget oriented AC router and this is also working pretty well but if you just like are okay with the 2.4 GHz basic band then this TP link tlw wr841n is an amazing router for the value or in fact as we say in India full Pisa vul I would say uh next I would say I'm using this uh this is a SanDisk mini usb OTG dual drive and I use this almost every day one end is a normal USB drive thereby you can just copy the files from your computer to it and the other end is a micro USB so you can plug it in to your smartphone tablets that support usb OTG and in fact I use it almost every day uh again uh this is also available on flip card I purchased this is the 16 gig version I believe even the 32 or the 64 gig version is available for this product and again I use this almost every day and it works pretty well uh next is the xiaomi 10,400 Mah power bank and I would say it is working pretty well for me and these days power bank has become sort of a necessity and considering the price to Performance I would say the xiaomi power bank is also working very well for me in fact I have already posted the review for that so you can check out that for more info uh next if we talk about uh smart watches uh I did purchase this Moto 360 that I've been using now for last several months and the good thing is that now Motorola has provided several updates on this and even the Android Wear operating system has evolved a lot uh I I wouldn't say it's a must have accessory uh but now after the third update I'm really liking the smart watch uh so if you're looking for the smart watches this is a good option but I believe that in 2015 we will be seeing a lot better smart watches at a better price point uh next again uh this is a wireless range extender that I use and this is Again by a TP Link uh and this helps me in extending my Wi-Fi range I have a garden where my primary router cannot provide Wi-Fi and using this product I was able to extend the Wi-Fi uh range to that and it's been performing brilliantly uh next this is a very unconventional product I would say and this is actually a Phillips electric shaver that I purchased uh this is known as the aqua touch uh and the good thing about this is uh you can use this is completely water resistant so you can use it with wet shave in fact I just apply my normal shaving foam with this and use it as a shaver and it works brilliantly I get actually pretty clean shaves and I've been shaving with this for the past 6 month and the thing that I really like about this is the battery backup provided on it uh it can charge pretty quickly I would say in about 50 odd minutes and it can last me for about 7 to 8 days so when I'm even traveling for 3 4 days I don't even have to carry the what do you say the charger with this I don't recall the exact model number I'll have the link for this one in the YouTube show notes again uh it's around 3,000 rupees or so I don't recall the exact price but it's been working pretty well for me uh next is the tablet that I use and this is the one uh this is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.5 that I use this is Android based tablet I wouldn't say it's the perfect tablet out there uh if you want the most responsive tablet yes still the iPad Air is better but again as it runs Android it it works for me because I do like to do some multitasking and I also use that multi- window features with it also it does support usb OTG hence it's easier for me to transfer files to and from what I really like about this tablet for me is the screen the screen quality is very good and I'm not a very heavy tablet user I generally use my tablets just about at the end of the day before going to sleep for an hour or so and I really like the screen as I mentioned the good quality about the screen is that even in a pitch dark room uh for example my wife is sleeping and the room is pitched dark I can lower the brightness to so low levels that it does not hurt my eyes so it's a pretty good tablet but the cor with this tablet I would say is the touch was lag it can get a little bit laggy at times but for me it gets the job done uh next this is a very interesting product that I just started testing about a week ago and I'm really really impressed with this and this is an accessory for a TV let's say you don't have a smart TV and you want to enable Smart TV functionality to it in fact in 2013 uh there was a product by Google that is known as chomecast and I really loved it in fact I have two chomecast with me and this is a new product by Indian company this is known as TV and this is a HDMI dongle that connect to your television and it can make your televisions a smart television the good thing about this is that it offers a lot more functionality compared to chomecast yes it can stream YouTube videos but apart from that it also has what do you say Life TV uh functionality it has some news channel entertainment Indian channels I would say and it can transmit that to your television the thing is that you need to have a good internet connection with this one also another good thing about this device is that it can stream local media that is stored on your PC or even on your tablets or smartphone directly to the TV and the best part about this product is the pricing uh this is priced in India for Just Around 2,000 bucks and it's available on Snap deal and flip cart and for the functionality I'm still testing this product I would say this is a full to Pisa product for me and I'm really impressed with it I'll try to post a review for this TV very soon and lastly again this is a TV accessory that I am using and this is a kovo HDMI switch if you have a lot of HDMI peripherals your TV might have just two and you might have four or five gadgets that require HDMI uh I have been using this Kino HDMI switch and it's been working perfectly for me so these were some of the products that I have purchased in 2014 and I use them on a daily basis I would love to know what are the products that you might have purchased in 2014 and you use them on a da basis I would love to know that so please share uh your
