LG press conference at CES 2019 in 8 minutes

Good Morning and Welcome to CES 2019

Good morning everyone, and welcome to CES 2019. Today, we're excited to showcase some of the latest innovations from LG, a company that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible with technology. One area where LG is making significant strides is in developing lifestyle data, which is this knowledge, combined with household environmental information like temperature, humidity, and air quality, and external information, like weather and traffic. This data allows LG ThinQ devices to proactively provide user-centric solutions that are tailored to individual needs.

LG ThinQ Devices: Contextual Understanding

LG ThinQ devices are not just limited to individual devices that deliver a single service. Instead, they will include collaboration among multiple devices, enabling seamless interaction between them. For example, imagine you want to start cleaning with the CordZero Stick Vacuum. You take the vacuum out of its cradle and receive a notification. The device then sends a message asking if you'd like the robot cleaner to help clean the living room. This level of collaboration is made possible by LG products communicating with each other and with users.

LG ProActive Customer Care: Preventing Issues Before They Happen

In 2019, LG will launch LG ProActive Customer Care, which allows the company to immediately alert LG appliance owners to potential issues before they even happen. The service can also expedite repairs, offer useful maintenance tips, and save users time and money. Additionally, LG ThinQ dishwashers and washers will connect seamlessly with Amazon Dash Replenishment to automatically reorder household essentials like detergent.

LG HomeBrew: The Beer Maker

Meet LG HomeBrew, the company's first-ever beer maker. This innovative device allows users to make and enjoy their own cold, tasty beer in the comfort of their own home, simply by inserting capsules that contain malt, yeast, hop oil, and flavoring. From fermentation to carbonation, aging, and serving, HomeBrew takes care of the entire brewing process with just a simple touch of the button. The device also self-cleans and produces up to 1.3 gallons of beer in as little as two weeks.

LG's 8K OLED TV: A New Era in Viewing Experience

This year, LG is ready to launch the largest OLED TV yet, featuring an astonishing 88 inches of gorgeous screen real estate. The company's 8K OLED TV features over 33 million self-emitting pixels, which are smaller as a result of this increased resolution, allowing each pixel individually deliver complete information to create an accurate picture. The Alpha 9 Gen 2 Intelligent Processor delivers a dramatic impact on the key TV elements, including picture and sound.

AI-Powered Picture and Sound

The 8K OLED TV features two main AI capabilities: content enhancement using Deep Learning technology and content optimization made possible by LG's unique R concept. This means that users will enjoy an enhanced viewing experience with improved color accuracy, contrast, and brightness. The device is also compatible with variable refresh rate, as well as Automatic Low Latency Mode, which helps deliver clean, clear images without tearing.

LG's Signature OLED TV R: Rollable OLED TV

Introducing the LG Signature OLED TV R, a rollable OLED TV that redefines space. This innovative device can transform itself to offer several different viewing options in full view, line view, and even zero view, where the screen disappears completely within the body. When the screen is retracted, users can enjoy a premium audio experience with a 4.2 channel, 100-watt front-firing Dolby Atmos soundbar.

Conclusion

That's all for today's showcase of LG's latest innovations at CES 2019. As we can see, this company is committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible with technology, from lifestyle data and smart home devices to beer makers and rollable OLED TVs. With its focus on delivering user-centric solutions and enhancing the viewing experience, LG is leading the way in the world of electronics. And as we say at LG, "Life's Good."
