Unboxing the Sony Xperia M: A Mid-Range Android Phone with Impressive Specs
The Sony Xperia M is an entry-level mid-range Android phone that packs some impressive specs at an affordable price. The MRP price of this device is Rs. 15,490, but I was able to purchase it from Fezer Communications for just Rs. 12,400.
Upon unboxing the device, we find a dual core processor based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus architecture, which is quite impressive for a mid-range Android phone. The Xperia M also features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 854x480 and a PPI of 245. This means that the display is not too bright or too dim, but rather offers a good balance between the two.
The contents of the box include a micro USB to USB cable for charging, a Sony-branded power brick, earphones (although they are not included in the box), and a button to take or end calls. There is also a microphone, which suggests that this phone may be suitable for video conferencing or voice notes.
As we open up the back cover of the device, we find a single SIM version of the phone, with space for a micro SIM card and a battery compartment. The rear-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter, and there is an NFC antenna located on the back cover. This suggests that this phone may be compatible with NFC-enabled devices or services.
One of the most interesting features of this phone is its front-facing camera, which offers good image quality for video conferencing or social media updates. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also present at the top of the device, suggesting that users can connect their favorite headphones without any issues.
The Xperia M weighs very little, considering its size and features. This makes it an attractive option for those who want a phone that is both portable and functional. However, some users may find the lack of expandable storage to be a drawback.
In terms of design, the Xperia M has a sleek and compact body that fits comfortably in the hand. The device also comes in multiple colors, including black, which I was able to purchase.
Overall, the Sony Xperia M is an impressive mid-range Android phone that offers good performance, image quality, and portability at an affordable price. Whether or not it will be a good choice for you depends on your individual needs and preferences.
