Hey guys, what's up? It's Barrett here and welcome back to my channel. Today, we're checking out the all-new Amazon Echo Plus, which is the second-generation model. We'll be taking a closer look at its features, design, and capabilities.

Unboxing the Amazon Echo Plus

Once we opened the box, we found that the echo sits right there front and center. The packaging also includes the bottom part of the box as well, so nothing else inside the box you can remove the echo from there and then also inside the box is a wall adapter which is a 30 watt wall adapter and a pretty long cable at that. This allows you to place your echo in different places easily. You'll also find some documentation inside the box, which basically covers everything you need to know about the device.

Design of Amazon Echo Plus

Now, let's take a closer look at the design of the Amazon Echo Plus. The all-new design features a fabric mesh on the outside that looks really good. You do have four buttons on top now, so one is a mute button, the volume up and down button, and also an Alexa button which allows you to enable Alexa without saying the word. This can come in handy if you want to discreetly say stuff or activate things and turn on lights without disturbing others.

Smart Home Integration

The Amazon Echo Plus also has an in-built hub that allows you to control smart devices like Hue lights, smart controllers, or any other device for your home with ease. You don't need a separate hub to do this; it's all integrated into the echo plus itself. This means you can easily control bulbs or lights directly from the echo plus without needing an additional hub.

Speaker Quality

One of the standout features of the Amazon Echo Plus is its speaker quality. It has Dolby audio, which provides better sound reproduction compared to the previous model. The speaker also features a point-eight-inch tweeter that's bottom connected and a three-inch woofer that improves the overall lower end of the speaker. great this time around is much better here's a playlist you might like fall happy hour on Amazon music the speaker weighs in at 780 grams so it's relatively lightweight but it does produce a good overall audio and it also connects with Bluetooth devices so you don't need to only have it connected with Wi-Fi you can also connect it with bluetooth devices it is not a portable speaker so you'll have to connect it into a wall adapter wherever you take it and that is a little bit of a disappointment if it had a built-in battery for a little bit but that would have been interesting but I guess they have no space for the size of speakers that they put inside the echo plus now Amazon has set of really cool features with the echo devices if you have more than one echo you can easily do things like intercom from one echo to the other echo and also make calls so you can call your friends or family who have echo devices using the echo and you can also eventually make phone calls that has not
