**The Wall Street Journal Digital Edition**
Street Journal normally charges like $40 a month to subscribe to their digital edition, but real Wall Street Journal readers are probably not going to prefer doing it through the Apple news app. Wall Street Journal presents a curated bunch of stories that roughly matched general or somewhat tailored to your interest. It's not be nearly as specific, you also limited in how many actually get presented in this main view. Others are going to be available through searching and kind of finding them but just a smaller variety of articles gonna be presented right here at the front. So if you like The Wall Street Journal you're getting a good amount of content included in that $9.99 still, if you want everything from Wall Street Journal you may still have to get that extra subscription separately.
**The Apple News App on Mac**
Apple News is not just available on your iPhone it's also available on your Mac. Mac OS 10.14.4 was updated to include the new news app with a new icon, the news plus section inside of the app it's still basically that marzipan app so it looked very much like the iPad experience but it is tailored to your Mac everything else is data you'd expect that we saw on the iOS version. It's grow through the recent magazines on top ones that you were already reading and because it uses iCloud everything syncs across so exactly where we left off on our iPhone we pick up here instead of that National Geographic cities Edition.
**Using the Apple News App on Mac**
it's a very nice way to jump between your iPhone, your iPad, and your Mac and never lose place of where you are. Graphics like this can be tapped to be brought in bigger and added captions below them it's a very nice experience but marzipan apps are still a little bit wonky on the Mac compared to how they are on the iPad. iPhone you just in general on the Mac seems like just a hit or miss experience but you do get included with that $9.99 and if you're on your Mac a lot it's something to take advantage of.
**The Apple News Plus Experience**
Alongside the Mac, alongside your iPhone you also have access of course on your iPad. The iPad looks very much similar to that the Mac experience because it essentially is the same app out of all the different places to read Apple and news plus the iPad seemed like the best place to do it graphics look amazing on the iPads large displays and things really come to life feels much more like reading a magazine doing it on your iPad then doing it on your iPhone or even your Mac.
**Storage Space and Offline Viewing**
We wanted to see how much storage space things were taking up on our iPad so we saved a few additions for offline viewing and they really didn't move the needle much when checking out the settings storage section for Apple news basically just a few Meg's and that was really it it will just depend on what kind of magazine you're reading whether thing is going to be really graphics heavy with all the interactive and video content or if it's something to be mostly PDF face like an older version of cooking light to manage your subscription to Apple news you get one month for free but if you check out your account and say the App Store you can go to manage subscriptions and it will show up along everything else like your iTunes Match, your Apple music or your app subscriptions like Carrot Weather tapping into it you can view all the different details such as when it expires how much you're paying and if you're currently on that free one-month trial.
