away from about two and a half feet away from me what I'll now do is I just moved back a little bit and this is roughly about I am almost about seventh order feet away from the microphone so this is the audio again ideally I think so if you are nearby it should be a lot better again this is a studio environment the sort of soundproof room but again if you are outdoor conditions it should cut down a lot of fur noise for example my ECS still running and you should not hear that now what are the worst I disconnect this a road microphone and see how is the audio via the onboard microphone that is on this camera that is the Canon 70d now the audio that you're hearing is from the internal microphone of this Canon 70d camera and again having that same distance about two and a half feet away from this camera what are those again on roof back a little bit and this is almost the same that is about seven feet away so you will charge and let me know in the comments you see a significant improvement in the audio from this Rota video now again recording this part of the video with this rode videomicro microphone and I've also put the dead cat on it actually you don't require that dead cat and indoor conditions like this but if you are recording it in outdoor conditions you can put that and the good thing is that it comes bundled in the box so you don't have to buy it separately and that should also cut down a lot of big noise the best thing that I like about this microphone is that you don't have to put any batteries or anything so it's just plug and play but one tip that I want
