Paul & Storm - Captain's Wife's Lament LIVE @ PAX East 2013

The band Without Hats coverband performed at a wonderful venue, thanking the audience and the people behind the scenes for their support. The lead singer expressed his gratitude to Mike, Jerry, and all the crew members who worked tirelessly to make the event a success. He also thanked every person on stage, including the enforcers, for their hard work.

The band was preparing to play "Captain's Wife's Lament," a song about a pirate ship that had sailed into harbor after 15 months at sea. The lead singer explained that the captain's wife could be heard wailing in distress as they approached land. However, it was not clear if this was due to the crew's success or their impending doom.

As the band began to play, the audience was filled with excitement and anticipation. The lead singer praised his band for their hard work and dedication, stating that they were "a huge pain in the ass" to work with, but ultimately worth it. He thanked the entire stage and tech crew for their outstanding job in setting up the venue.

The band then launched into a rendition of their Sex Pistols cover song, which was clearly a crowd-pleaser. The lead singer announced that they would be counting down from three before finishing the song, and warned the audience to do the same if they wanted to experience the full effect. However, some people seemed to have misunderstood this instruction, as the lead singer jokingly threatened to punch them in the face.

As the band finished their final number, "Wind," the crowd erupted into applause. The lead singer thanked everyone again for their support and promised that the next show would be just as exciting. He also invited fans who had lent the band kilts to come forward and receive a special reward.

In a surprise twist, the lead singer announced that the audience was now in a state of "SE-induced psychosis," where they were filled with excitement and energy. However, he jokingly warned that this would wear off soon, leaving them feeling disgusted and exhausted. He promised to see his fans through this ordeal and invited them to come back for another show.

As the band packed up their gear, the lead singer reflected on the night's performance. He praised his band for their hard work and dedication, stating that they were a "huge pain in the ass" to work with, but ultimately worth it. He thanked the entire audience and crew for their support and promised that the next show would be just as exciting.

The final words of the lead singer were a message to the fans who had lent the band kilts, asking them to report to the front of the stage in 2 minutes. This seemed to be an unusual request, but the lead singer was determined to make it happen. As the audience filed out of the venue, they were left with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the next show.

Meanwhile, the band's Sex Pistols cover song had been a huge hit, with the crowd singing along to every word. The lead singer had announced that this was his favorite song, and it showed in his performance. He had clearly poured his heart and soul into every note, and the audience had responded accordingly.

In a final surprise, the band's Gary Glitter cover song had been met with applause and cheers from the crowd. The lead singer had joked about being on stage in front of Gary Glitter, and it seemed that the audience had enjoyed this unexpected twist.

As the night drew to a close, the band thanked everyone for their support and promised to return soon. They had clearly had an amazing time performing, and the audience had responded with equal enthusiasm. The final notes of "Wind" still lingered in the air as the crowd filed out of the venue, already looking forward to the next show.
