price now if you live outside of the States you're looking at around a thousand bucks and that's still pretty tgh alright so let's go through all the specs now this is a gsm-only phone so if you got AT&T or t-mobile you're good to go if you got Sprint or Verizon you a step now the phone is available in five different colors you got Aurora blue and but sunrise pearl white Wesley Snipes black and giggity we got the Jack Sparrow in deck here we go rah let's see what you get inside okay hold up calm down had to give you a double dose today alright here we go inside the box now this is the flagship version here's your device whoo now went with the breathing crystal you peel this off right check this out look at that let me peel this to go off the back Wow let's give a little wipe down for that dramatic effect check this out now - breathing crystal it actually changes color depending on which way you holding it so now let's kind of blueish now let's kind of pinkish now - look straight white this is unbelievable now just for a quick reference here's the galaxy s 10 plus with their version of the white gradient I think war Wade nailed it better though but that's personal preference let's keep it moving let's see what else you get now here's your sim ejection tool okay inside got two usual books and pluck them file them to the side no case on this one that's a little bit of a downer no case now I got this ship internationally so I got it you are international charging brick got your headphone jack uh headphone jack you got your headphones let's see what kind of headphones these are here we go let me just let me calm down so I don't break them okay so you got USB type-c headphone jack and of course your standard white headphones and you got your USB type-c charging cable that's pretty much it now for this beautiful device the weight on this oh I love it this has a nice weight got one more stick on the back trolling me right let's see on one side you got your power button put that little hint of red in it you have to volume up and down I'll sit that up so we can check out the display now you got your little teardrop notch on another side super clean on the top there's your IR blaster and your mic on the back here's your four cameras height so you got two you got your little time-of-flight camera and there's the big boy now keep in mind this camera goes up to 50 times zoom alright so I'm calling this the scumbag camera and I'm gonna show you what I mean in a few minutes let's see on the bottom this is a sim tray you got another mic USB type-c charging slot and your head fire speaker grille now check out that notch on the front barely visible let's uh let's pick my language real quick English in effect I'll set that up later English United Kingdom that in other words that means this is not aluminum it's aluminium as I might leave it on United Kingdom says it does have that nice aluminium build but the back panel looks so beautiful now if y'all follow me on instagram you'll see i cancelled one of these actually ordered the amber sunrise then when I seen this when I was like now I need this color right here and I'm glad I did a lot of people said to am but sunrise looks a little bit orangish looks a little no it doesn't look like fire engine red so I don't like that this one looks but uh this one looks more like my style look at that alright I'm mesmerized alright let me pause the video I'll drop all my information in then we'll breeze through the OS talk amongst ourselves all right Joss we'll be back in not just put my information in the phone I've been playing around with it for a few minutes I just came back from doing my nighttime errands and I got to keep it real with Jo on a scale of one to ten even though the prices tgh I literally love this phone alright this phone is a triple major go this is a beast now I gotta answer a couple of questions first number one which phone is better the p30 pro or the Galaxy S ten plus honestly the s10 plus is a better phone now remember those three things that I said I didn't like at the beginning the no quad HD display no headphone jack and no dual speakers or you got all three of those on your Galaxy S 10 plus plus you got your video lockscreen you got a better on-screen fingerprint sensor and a better always-on display and a few more features so pound for pound the Galaxy S ten plus is a better phone but it all depends on how you use your phone and what features you like because if you think about it the p30 pro has a better build quality we'll talk about that in a second you got your IR blaster now if you haven't used IR blasters in a while you don't know what you're missing alright somebody like me that travels all the time when you have an IR blaster on your phone any hotel TV is at your disposal any gym TV is at your disposal not to mention a lot of these products nowadays air conditioners TVs stereos projectors heaters everything works with IR blasters so if that's something that's important to you this might be a better look not to mention you got that protection alright so if you're out there living a scumbag lifestyle you're gonna need that plus one of my favorite features of the p30 pro is the scumbag camera and I'm gonna show you how that works in a minute now before I did this video I thought it was gonna be a gimmick I couldn't really think of any uses for it until I actually just went outside and tested it and I immediately found a use for it and I'll show you what I'm talking about next question should you get the p30 or the p30 Pro now that depends on you but it feels up to me I'm going with the p30 Pro because I need wireless charge as you see right here I need reverse wireless charging because I'm always using earbuds I need full IP rating I need my phone to be water-resistant because I'm always outside in the rain the p30 Pro has a better camera a better battery and a better build quality now remember the other day when I did the p30 review I told y'all if you put a P 30 in your left hand and the galaxy s 10 plus in your right hand you wouldn't know which one is 600 bucks and which one is a thousand you wouldn't know well if you put a P 30 in your left hand and a P 30 Pro in your right hand you are immediately gonna know which one costs more because of that build quality and that's one of my favorite things about the P 30 Pro the build quality now this is subjective you might want the thinnest and lightest phone in the market not me I like glass back phones with thick aluminum trim and a nice heavy premium weight now if y'all watch my top 10 phones of 2018 you remember which phone won the best build of the year the P 20 Pro and the P 30 Pro is right on track for that same award now we got one more question could I use the P 30 Pro as my daily driver as much as I love this phone sadly the answer's no now no quad HD display I can live with that especially if you get in better battery life no headphone jack I can live with that too it's a nice feature to have but it ain't make it or break it for me but the one thing that I really don't like about this phone is no dual speakers and somebody like me all day long I'm watching videos and listening to music if you had an iPhone 10 s max even a wall way made 20 protein ooh 12 plus any phone that has good dual speakers you can't go back to that one single fire and speak on the bottom it just doesn't sound the same now don't get me wrong the speaker sounds great on this but me as my driver I need anything not everything anything and this phone is sadly missing one feature I'm mad that Warwick skipped out on that why didn't they just add dual speakers this would have been a certified monster it still is but you just gotta take that ell with the note dual speakers alright so let's break this down first things first there's a couple of different ways you can charge your phone you plug it in with your USB cable or you got wireless charge now you also got reverse wireless charging and let me show you how that works so you're gonna go over to your settings you're gonna go over to battery go over to a reverse wireless charging turn that on now when I put the phone down let me grab another phone I can reverse wireless charge another device now keep this in mind reverse wireless charging is mad slow and a lot of people think it's a gimmick but I've been using this in my daily life it's really not a gimmick let me give you the perfect example so you got to dinner with somebody you go to a bar and their phone is on 1% or 5% and y'all just got to the restaurant now they ain't going nowhere they're gonna have to turn their phone off because they're gonna want some phone power when they leave well if you got a phone that has reverse wireless charging wise recharge their phone if you leave it on this charger for maybe about what 45 minutes an hour the whole time while you're there their phone will go from 1 percent to 10 to 15 percent so that's definitely not a gimmick and if you use wireless earbuds like the wall ways or the iPhone the ear pods check this out you notice it's wirelessly charging your earbuds now reverse wireless charging for earbuds it's perfect because the battery is so smaller knees you get to work you take your earbuds out any time you're not using your phone let it charge it's not gonna drain your battery that much and in order to train in order to fully charge up your earbuds so that is definitely not a gimmick next let's take it over to build quality now this is my favorite feature about this phone the build quality yeah I know I'm gonna say it so let's say it together feels so good in the hands ladies you know the procedures now if you hold the mate 20 Pro and the P 30 Pro this is the heaviest one alright this the P 20 from flash here and the P 30 from this year for some reason these phones are just a little bit heavier and I love that now I know y'all see me do a lot of case videos but nine times out of ten I don't use a case when y'all see me posting on Instagram in restaurants I never use cases and restaurants I never use cases in the house and I never use cases that work I only use cases at the gym while I'm outside doing some bike riding or some activity while I might break my phone other than that nowadays when you get these beautiful phones you want to really enjoy that back let me get a little wipe down and this breathing crystal color it's just mesmerizing it's beautiful I sort of build quality a1 status and it is ip68 dust and water resistance next got your always on display now like I said with the Sam let me show you how this looks like I said Samsung and LG do two always on display the best because it's fully customizable you can add your picture and you can interact with it these are just static always-on display so you're just going to get the time to date and your battery percentage but it is nice and break now there's a couple of different ways you can open up the device you can swipe up put in your pattern or your pin next you got your on-screen fingerprint sensor which works 100% of the time now this is not ultrasonic so you're gonna have to give it a good press you remember the galaxy's you just tap like this this one you can have to give it a good press but it always works as long as you press it now you don't have to power on the screen this pressing it turns on now I'm holding now I know every time I do this test people say oh it looks like it's lagging out you gotta remember I'm holding the phone in an unnatural position I'm behind the camera when my arms fully stretched out now when I pull the phone out of my pocket I really just in my position of comfort it works every time trust me on that one alright so you got your fingerprint sensor and you also got face unlock now you see when I lift up the display nothing now I'm gonna lift up display and look at it there's face unlock that's super fast and that one works even the fingerprint sensor now let's go through the basic settings let's get max brightness why not super bright great viewing angles now I know it doesn't have quite each D display but the good thing about that is you can rock it on max brightness and you're still going to get better battery life let's go through all the toggles alright so you got your basic stuff you have to screen shot toggle screen record you got eye comfort I for your middle of the night activities you got Dolby Atmos alright so you got three different modes you got smart movie and music I like to leave it on music and put it on rich everything sounds a little bit better let's see you got your hotspot you got your navigation duck eye that's the floating ball this way if the phone is too big for your hands you can use that floating ball to swipe gestures and go back and use it as a home button you also got ultra power saving mode nearby do not disturb now one thing I noticed that's missing it's called Oh Shazam let me show you what I'm talking about now I got my mate 20 you know it's got one more toggle order Shazam so some people ask me why do I always show the toggles this is why because you can't just go into every phone expecting everything is going to be the same it's missing order Suzanne let's keep it moving let's go over to the settings let's breeze through this real quick all right so you got your personal hotspot VPNs and your private DNS connectivity you've got Bluetooth you got NFC I check that box you got wall way beam wall way easy projection and you can add design add this to a printer let's go to Home screen you got your magazine unlock the themes your wallpapers let's see the maximum layout is 5 by 6 and you got Google feed and let's see you got the lockscreen signature and you're always on display now always-on display like I said no customization you can just turn it on and off or set it to full schedule so if you want say you're not using your phone in the middle of the night you want to save battery turn your always-on display off from midnight to 6:00 in the morning or vice versa if you want to use the always-on display that's a night clock then turn it on at night and turn it off during the day let's go over to our display like I said max brightness let's go to color mode and temperatures let's get it our ice cold why not there it is let's say you sleep I'll leave it on 10 minutes I comfort mode you can adjust that now I forgot to show you how this now you don't always have to have your icon former super yellow if you want you could just make it a little bit dimmer but I like to leave it super yellow because I noticed this won't wake you up in the middle of the night so you got your text in the spot screen resolution now if you want you can put it on smart and that'll save battery so when using apps that don't need full HD it'll automatically switch to HD but if you spending a thousand bucks leaving on full HD enjoy that display go to more display settings all right so you got full screen mode you got knotch and i united say you don't like that little tear drop you could get rid of that but personally I don't mind that so I'll just leave it alone display carrier name Cricket Wireless no doubt network speed leave that on deck let's see anything else yep that's it let's go to sounds okay now check out the speaker the speaker is definitely loud but it's only one speaker I don't understand why they didn't do like HDC put the base in the bottom and at least put in the earpiece on the top put the highs in the mid it would sound a lot better okay let's go to our more sound settings screen shot let's turn that off and vibrate don't touch leave that on all right let's see anything else on notifications we don't need to check that you could have your notifications coming privately if you want let's go to battery now performance mode right now you see I got 24% battery left that's gonna give you 10 hours and 31 minutes if I activate performance mode it's gonna go down a little bit there's now my phone is in performance mode but I still got damn near 10 hours but if I put it in power saving mode I'd have a full 14 hours in 11 minutes and ultra power saving mode 45 hours and 49 minutes I that's damn there two days let's go to our darkened interface colors do that mandatory on any wall way phone this is also gonna save you battery not to mention it just looks cooler and there's yet reverse wireless charging let's see more battery settings stay connected when the device is sleep I'll leave that on can be missing on notifications in the middle of the night let's go to storage hey you can see what apps are eating up your storage now this one right here is 128 gig version I only use 15 gigs we could clean that up if you want keep it moving alright security and privacy you got your fingerprint ID face unlock lock screen and password you got a block private space and safe now private space that's your thought protection okay we'll go through that at the end and let's go to smart assistance let's go to shortcuts and gestures alright so you got your high voice if you hold down the power button that's basically your Google now what time is it that time is 2:14 a.m. vultures status right there you got your knock on the screen to take a screenshot now this is a new one right here that I actually like the double knock with two knuckles that'll start screen recording let me exit out of it start screen recording and that you got your split screen knuckle gesture so you go like that and you split the screen now I'll show you how that works in a second you got wait screen now pick up the phone that'll automatically wake up the display double tap to wake the display also let's see you got your mute for ringtones I say you get a phone call you flip to me same thing if you want to reduce the volume flip the phone same thing and pick up the answer now I'll leave that off let's say you got your phone on the table and you get an incoming call and this is on once you put the phone to your ear and automatically pick up the phone and that's pretty much it alright so now let's check the web browsing speeds go to apple.com opening web page superfast everything is nice and smooth let's do the knuckle gesture I got a from doing that from behind the camera it's a little bit difficult let's open up Facebook I say there's my facebook right there Apple Facebook at the same time alright split screen multitasking now if you don't like using the knuckle gesture you get its do old-school hold down the multifunction ooh uh-huh multifunctional oh ho that and everything to use apps button and you can do it like that you can open up YouTube Browns at the same time now when I was on my stream last night somebody asked me can I use the iPhone as my daily driver and I said no and this is exactly why I can't because this is what I do all day long I always use split screen multitasking most of the time I'm watching a youtube video and I'm doing some shopping and while I'm watching that video the first thing I do is go on Amazon and check the price while I'm watching the video now even though I got YouTube bread if you're using an iPhone as soon as you exit out of YouTube the video will still be playing what you can't see so that's no good for me I said web browsing speeds no joke on this one let's take it over to YouTube we'll check the display and we'll test out the speakers alright so I got one of my vlogs queued up look at the display and listen to the speakers let's get fullscreen beautiful edge to edge panel basically no bezels and that speakers definitely nice and loud and rich it's just one speaker though that's pretty sick now before we take to the camera there's two more things I wanted to show you first you got your optimizer app and this is a nice little built-in app keep your phone running nice and smooth clean everything up with the press of one button same thing you'll find on the Galaxy phones there's a nice security check everything is running smooth now and the second thing I wanted to show you a Smart Remote now this is one of the best things about having that IR blaster you can add your custom remotes so you got TVs air conditioners set-top box cameras Network s TVs DVD players projectors and you can customize it and like I said every hotel that I go to I always control the TV and I can always control the TV and the diners the gym the doctor's office when I come in my house in the summertime I don't have to look for my remote control turn the TV on turn the air conditioner on turn the stereo on Io Blaster is a major go now let's take a look at the camera now this is one of the best things about this phone and this might be the main selling point and the reason that you want to get this so we'll open up the camera on the top you got two high vision that's basically google lens you got your flash you got artificial intelligence now you can turn that on and off basically that's going to give you computerized scene selections I love that feature you can change from standard vivid colors or smoother colors then you got all your settings now the maximum resolution is 40 megapixels that's pretty good but the only reason I don't use 40 megapixels because you can't zoom in and out all your basic settings let's go to the different modes you got aperture mode now this is if you want to take a picture of something like a standard object not a human a standard object and you want the book effect use aperture mode you can also change the aperture so if you put it on all the way to end it's basically a regular shot the middle a little bit blur and all the way to the left maximum blurry you got night shot which is the truth on this phone wait till you see the pictures for yourself you got portrait mode alright so if you want to take a picture of somebody and use the book effect you can also add the beauty but the beauty level on max make the person look nice and young you got your regular photos you got video you got pro mode ID samsung pro mode change the ISO to white balance the autofocus do whatever you want and you got more now look how many more different shooting modes you got slow-motion panoramic monochrome that's too black and white you got your AR lens that's all your little cute emojis you got like paintings HDR time-lapse moving pictures filters stickers documents underwater hey you got this one I don't even know what it is plants and you got a few more stickers and documents they already inserted what is this one super macro right super macro now let's go over the video let's go over the settings maximum resolution on your video is 4k UHD now I like to shoot 1080 60 frames per second that's one thing about these phones they don't have 4k 60 frames per second so Samsung is winning in that department now let me show you some pictures that I took and this is why you're gonna understand why the scumbag camera is so sick alright so this is me basically just running my nightly errands and taking pictures as I go now jumped in the car this is a regular shot now watch what happens when I switch over to night mode look at the difference you can actually see that the dashboard is woodgrain and the first picture just looks all black put it in night mode didn't turn on the flash didn't turn on any lights look how much brighter it got night mode is not a gimmick now this is the deli regular night shot looks beautiful this is inside looking for search sees favorite food got some fresh step you see all the colors everything looks vibrant bunch of different assortments of thought juices on deck now if you go to the deli and you don't see a menu like this it ain't a real deli alright if you've never had a chopped cheese from a bodega like this you don't know to missing shout out to my man Habibi working in the front that's my dude now check this out this is again just a regular point-and-shoot shot keep your eye on that read on in now watching I switch to night mode notice how bright that on in this now even look at the car in the front all right let's go back you see that cars kind of dark blue now the owner in this dark red it looks like I turned on the flash but it's just night mode same thing a regular shot then I activate night mode bong everything is nice and bright now check this out this is just another regular shot you see that blue car you can see one car behind it now watch what happens when I activate the wide-angle lens you can see all the way to the next corner now check this out this is what I meant about the scumbag camera that's the 50 times zoom first I thought was gonna be a gimmick why would I ever need this how many times you have to park your car and then you don't know about the parking sign that's all the way in the corner you gotta walk all the way to the corner to read that sign check this out now look this is a regular shot there's a sign above that car you can't even see it from here definitely can't see it from here watch 50 times zoom there goes the Sun that's a practical use for me I can't tell you how many times I park in Manhattan and I gotta walk all the way to the corner to see the Sun now one thing I will say about 50 times zoom the pictures a little bit shaky alright so you can't really use it as a scumbag tactic you know to look at somebody's text messages from down the block because when you're in 50 times zoom the cameras gonna be moving around a lot so you're gonna have to take multiple photos I just happen to catch this one first try now here's the supermarket beautiful everything is nice and vibrant wide-angle alright regular shot wide-angle alright that's one of the hot features about these cameras nowadays wide-angle now 50 times zoom check this out you can't even see let me see if I can zoom in if i zoom all the way in you see those things hanging up above the drinks in the back alright this is a 50 x oom of that shot that is insane and I really thought this is gonna be gimmicky but I'm loving it all right the more I use it the more I'm thinking about new ways I can even incorporate to using it here's my daily dinner bunch of fruit now here goes the Velveeta shots and on the side note the funny thing is that Velveeta been sitting there since I did the p30 video the other night I set it up just like that it's still been here this is a nice little aperture shot you notice the background it's kind of blurry that's the regular shot without the aperture notice you can see everything clear there's the aperture those drinks in the back look at nice and blurry this is a good another aperture shot I just zoomed in a little bit more there's your wide-angle you can see everything on both sides of the aisles and that's just a regular close-up now you don't have to zoom up all the way to 50 you can zoom up to 20 15 whatever you want but the close-ups came out beautiful now check this out this is me I hate looking like a douchebag as usual portrait mode on the front that's the beauty cam turned on the max so the skin is looking a little bit flawless you know debating whether I want to be a fat ass to get the Tostitos or not now here's my regular video test now I'm watching this for the first time I already know this is gonna be smooth cuz you seen the p30 but let's see if it's even smoother let me turn the volume down on this oh this is a go look how smooth it is that's what I'm talking about this is right up there with the iPhone in the galaxies this is nice and smooth and like I always say I'm naturally a shaky handed person so if a camera is trashed my video is gonna look even more trash look how beautiful that looks as I'm walking around you don't see any bouncing nice and smooth and stable that's 1080p 60 frames per second now I did um I did find the shoes favorite food so I copped that there's another wide angle it's a regular wide angle now check this out this is not it this is the best test that I did all night this is a regular wide-angle shot now somewhere at the back of that picture my phone is set up with some thought activity on the display you can't even see it from here I look closely Liz's it's like our Where's Waldo you can't see it now a zoomed tgh alright so let's go through all the specs now this is a gsm-only phone so if you got AT&T or t-mobile you're good to go if you got Sprint or Verizon you a step now the phone is available in five out look at that let me peel this to go off the back Wow let's give a little wipe down for that dramatic effect check this out now - breathing crystal it actually changes color depending on which way you holding it so now let's kind of blueish now let's kind of pinkish now - look straight white this is unbelievable now just for a quick reference here's the galaxy s 10 plus with their version of minutes let's see on the bottom this is a sim tray you got another mic USB type-c charging slot and your head fire speaker grille now check out that notch on the front barely visible let's uh let's pick my language real quick English in effect I'll set that up later English United Kingdom that in other words that means this is not aluminum it's aluminium as I might leave it on United Kingdom says it does have that nice aluminium build but the back panel looks so beautiful now if y'all follow me on instagram you'll see i cancelled one of these actually ordered the amber sunrise then when I seen this when I was like now I need this color right here and I'm glad I did a lot of people said to am but sunrise looks a little bit orangish looks a little no it doesn't look like fire engine red nighttime errands and I got to keep it real with Jo on a scale of one to ten even though the prices tgh I literally love this phone alright this phone is a triple major go this is a beast now I gotta answer a couple of questions first number one which phone is better the p30 pro or the Galaxy S ten plus honestly the s10 plus is a better phone now remember those three things that I said I didn't like at the beginning the no quad HD display no headphone jack and no dual speakers or you got all three of those on your Galaxy S 10 plus plus you got your video lockscreen you got a better on-screen fingerprint sensor and a better always-on display and a few more features so pound for pound the Galaxy S ten plus is a better phone but it all depends on how you use your phone and what features you like because if you think about it the p30 pro has a better build quality we'll talk about that in a second you got your IR blaster now if you haven't used IR blasters in a while you don't know what you're missing alright somebody like me that travels all the time when you have an IR blaster on your phone any hotel TV is at your disposal any gym TV is at your disposal not to mention a lot of these products nowadays air conditioners TVs stereos projectors heaters everything works with IR blasters so if that's something that's important to you this might be a better look not to mention you got that protection alright so if you're out there living a scumbag lifestyle you're gonna need that plus one of my favorite features of the p30 pro is the scumbag camera and I'm gonna show you how that works in a minute now before I did this video I thought it was gonna be a gimmick I couldn't really think of any uses for it until I actually just went outside and tested it and I immediately found a use for it and I'll show you what I'm talking about next question should you get the p30 or the p30 Pro now that depends on you but it feels up to me I'm going with the p30 Pro because I need wireless charge as you see right here I need reverse wireless charging because I'm always using earbuds I need full IP rating I need my phone to be water-resistant because I'm always outside in the rain the p30 Pro has a better camera a better battery and a better build quality now remember the other day when I did the p30 review I told y'all if you put a P 30 in your left hand and the galaxy s 10 plus in your right hand you wouldn't know which one is 600 bucks and which one is a thousand you wouldn't know well if you put a P 30 in your left hand and a P 30 Pro in your right hand you are immediately gonna know which one costs more because of that build quality and that's one of my favorite things about the P 30 Pro the build quality now this is subjective you might want the thinnest and lightest phone in the market not me I like glass back phones with thick aluminum trim and a nice heavy premium weight now if y'all watch my top 10 phones of 2018 you remember which phone won the best build of the year the P 20 Pro and the P 30 Pro is right on track for that same award now we got one more question could I use the P 30 Pro as my daily driver as much as I love this phone sadly the answer's no now no quad HD display I can live with that especially if you get in better battery life no headphone jack I can live with that too it's a nice feature to have but it ain't make it or break it for me but the one thing that I really don't like about this phone is no dual speakers and somebody like me all day long I'm watching videos and listening to music if you had an iPhone 10 s max even a wall way made 20 protein ooh 12 plus any phone that has good dual speakers you can't go back to that one single fire and speak on the bottom it just doesn't sound the same now don't get me wrong the speaker sounds great on this but me as my driver I need anything not everything anything and this phone is sadly missing one feature I'm mad that Warwick skipped out on that why didn't they just add dual speakers this would have been a certified monster it still is but you just gotta take that ell with the note dual speakers alright so let's break this down first things first there's a couple of different ways you can charge your phone you plug it in with your USB cable or you got wireless charge now you also got reverse wireless charging and let me show you how that works so you're gonna go over to your settings you're gonna go over to battery go over to a reverse wireless charging turn that on now when I put the phone down let me grab another phone I can reverse wireless charge another device now keep this in mind reverse wireless charging is mad slow and a lot of people think it's a gimmick but I've been using this in my daily life it's really not a gimmick let me give you the perfect example so you got to dinner with somebody you go to a bar and their phone is on 1% or 5% and y'all just got to the restaurant now they ain't going nowhere they're gonna have to turn their phone off because they're gonna want some phone power when they leave well if you got a phone that has reverse wireless charging wise recharge their phone if you leave it on this charger for maybe about what 45 minutes an hour the whole time while you're there their phone will go from 1 percent to 10 to 15 percent so that's definitely not a gimmick and if you use wireless earbuds like the wall ways or the iPhone the ear pods check this out you notice it's wirelessly charging your earbuds now reverse wireless charging for earbuds it's perfect because the battery is so smaller knees you get to work you take your earbuds out any time you're not using your phone let it charge it's not gonna drain your battery that much and in order to train in order to fully charge up your earbuds so that is definitely not a gimmick next let's take it over to build quality now this is my favorite feature about this phone the build quality yeah I know I'm gonna say it so let's say it together feels so good in the hands ladies you know the procedures now if you hold the mate 20 Pro and the P 30 Pro this is the heaviest one alright this the P 20 from flash here and the P 30 from this year for some reason these phones are just a little bit heavier and I love that now I know y'all see me do a lot of case videos but nine times out of ten I don't use a case when y'all see me posting on Instagram in restaurants I never use cases and restaurants I never use cases in the house and I never use cases that work I only use cases at the gym while I'm outside doing some bike riding or some activity while I might break my phone other than that nowadays when you get these beautiful phones you want to really enjoy that back let me get a little wipe down and this breathing crystal color it's just mesmerizing it's beautiful I sort of build quality a1 status and it is ip68 dust and water resistance next got your always on display now like I said with the Sam let me show you how this looks like I said Samsung and LG do two always on display the best because it's fully customizable you can add your picture and you can interact with it these are just static always-on display so you're just going to get the time to date and your battery percentage but it is nice and break now there's a couple of different ways you can open up the device you can swipe up put in your pattern or your pin next you got your on-screen fingerprint sensor which works 100% of the time now this is not ultrasonic so you're gonna have to give it a good press you remember the galaxy's you just tap like this this one you can have to give it a good press but it always works as long as you press it now you don't have to power on the screen this pressing it turns on now I'm holding now I know every time I do this test people say oh it looks like it's lagging out you gotta remember I'm holding the phone in an unnatural position I'm behind the camera when my arms fully stretched out now when I pull the phone out of my pocket I really just in my position of comfort it works every time trust me on that one alright so you got your fingerprint sensor and you also got face unlock now you see when I lift up the display nothing now I'm gonna lift up display and look at it there's face unlock that's super fast and that one works even the fingerprint sensor now let's go through the basic settings let's get max brightness why not super bright great viewing angles now I know it doesn't have quite each D display but the good thing about that is you can rock it on max brightness and you're still going to get better battery life let's go through all the toggles alright so you got your basic stuff you have to screen shot toggle screen record you got eye comfort I for your middle of the night activities you got Dolby Atmos alright so you got three different modes you got smart movie and music I like to leave it on music and put it on rich everything sounds a little bit better let's see you got your hotspot you got your navigation duck eye that's the floating ball this way if the phone is too big for your hands you can use that floating ball to swipe gestures and go back and use it as a home button you also got ultra power saving mode nearby do not disturb now one thing I noticed that's missing it's called Oh Shazam let me show you what I'm talking about now I got my mate 20 you know it's got one more toggle order Shazam so some people ask me why do I always show the toggles this is why because you can't just go into every phone expecting everything is going to be the same it's missing order Suzanne let's keep it moving let's go over to the settings let's breeze through this real quick all right so you got your personal hotspot VPNs and your private DNS connectivity you've got Bluetooth you got NFC I check that box you got wall way beam wall way easy projection and you can add design add this to a printer let's go to Home screen you got your magazine unlock the themes your wallpapers let's see the maximum layout is 5 by 6 and you got Google feed and let's see you got the lockscreen signature and you're always on display now always-on display like I said no customization you can just turn it on and off or set it to full schedule so if you want say you're not using your phone in the middle of the night you want to save battery turn your always-on display off from midnight to 6:00 in the morning or vice versa if you want to use the always-on display that's a night clock then turn it on at night and turn it off during the day let's go over to our display like I said max brightness let's go to color mode and temperatures let's get it our ice cold why not there it is let's say you sleep I'll leave it on 10 minutes I comfort mode you can adjust that now I forgot to show you how this now you don't always have to have your icon former super yellow if you want you could just make it a little bit dimmer but I like to leave it super yellow because I noticed this won't wake you up in the middle of the night so you got your text in the spot screen resolution now if you want you can put it on smart and that'll save battery so when using apps that don't need full HD it'll automatically switch to HD but if you spending a thousand bucks leaving on full HD enjoy that display go to more display settings all right so you got full screen mode you got knotch and i united say you don't like that little tear drop you could get rid of that but personally I don't mind that so I'll just leave it alone display carrier name Cricket Wireless no doubt network speed leave that on deck let's see anything else yep that's it let's go to sounds okay now check out the speaker the speaker is definitely loud but it's only one speaker I don't understand why they didn't do like HDC put the base in the bottom and at least put in the earpiece on the top put the highs in the mid it would sound a lot better okay let's go to our more sound settings screen shot let's turn that off and vibrate don't touch leave that on all right let's see anything else on notifications we don't need to check that you could have your notifications coming privately if you want let's go to battery now performance mode right now you see I got 24% battery left that's gonna give you 10 hours and 31 minutes if I activate performance mode it's gonna go down a little bit there's now my phone is in performance mode but I still got damn near 10 hours but if I put it in power saving mode I'd have a full 14 hours in 11 minutes and ultra power saving mode 45 hours and 49 minutes I that's damn there two days let's go to our darkened interface colors do that mandatory on any wall way phone this is also gonna save you battery not to mention it just looks cooler and there's yet reverse wireless charging let's see more battery settings stay connected when the device is sleep I'll leave that on can be missing on notifications in the middle of the night let's go to storage hey you can see what apps are eating up your storage now this one right here is 128 gig version I only use 15 gigs we could clean that up if you want keep it moving alright security and privacy you got your fingerprint ID face unlock lock screen and password you got a block private space and safe now private space that's your thought protection okay we'll go through that at the end and let's go to smart assistance let's go to shortcuts and gestures alright so you got your high voice if you hold down the power button that's basically your Google now what time is it that time is 2:14 a.m. vultures status right there you got your knock on the screen to take a screenshot now this is a new one right here that I actually like the double knock with two knuckles that'll start screen recording let me exit out of it start screen recording and that you got your split screen knuckle gesture so you go like that and you split the screen now I'll show you how that works in a second you got wait screen now pick up the phone that'll automatically wake up the display double tap to wake the display also let's see you got your mute for ringtones I say you get a phone call you flip to me same thing if you want to reduce the volume flip the phone same thing and pick up the answer now I'll leave that off let's say you got your phone on the table and you get an incoming call and this is on once you put the phone to your ear and automatically pick up the phone and that's pretty much it alright so now let's check the web browsing speeds go to apple.com opening web page superfast everything is nice and smooth let's do the knuckle gesture I got a from doing that from behind the camera it's a little bit difficult let's open up Facebook I say there's my facebook right there Apple Facebook at the same time alright split screen multitasking now if you don't like using the knuckle gesture you get its do old-school hold down the multifunction ooh uh-huh multifunctional oh ho that and everything to use apps button and you can do it like that you can open up YouTube Browns at the same time now when I was on my stream last night somebody asked me can I use the iPhone as my daily driver and I said no and this is exactly why I can't because this is what I do all day long I always use split screen multitasking most of the time I'm watching a youtube video and I'm doing some shopping and while I'm watching that video the first thing I do is go on Amazon and check the price while I'm watching the video now even though I got YouTube bread if you're using an iPhone as soon as you exit out of YouTube the video will still be playing what you can't see so that's no good for me I said web browsing speeds no joke on this one let's take it over to YouTube we'll check the display and we'll test out the speakers alright so I got one of my vlogs queued up look at the display and listen to the speakers let's get fullscreen beautiful edge to edge panel basically no bezels and that speakers definitely nice and loud and rich it's just one speaker though that's pretty sick now before we take to the camera there's two more things I wanted to show you first you got your optimizer app and this is a nice little built-in app keep your phone running nice and smooth clean everything up with the press of one button same thing you'll find on the Galaxy phones there's a nice security check everything is running smooth now and the second thing I wanted to show you a Smart Remote now this is one of the best things about having that IR blaster you can add your custom remotes so you got TVs air conditioners set-top box cameras Network s TVs DVD players projectors and you can customize it and like I said every hotel that I go to I always control the TV and I can always control the TV and the diners the gym the doctor's office when I come in my house in the summertime I don't have to look for my remote control turn the TV on turn the air conditioner on turn the stereo on Io Blaster is a major go now let's take a look at the camera now this is one of the best things about this phone and this might be the main selling point and the reason that you want to get this so we'll open up the camera on the top you got two high vision that's basically google lens you got your flash you got artificial intelligence now you can turn that on and off basically that's going to give you computerized scene selections I love that feature you can change from standard vivid colors or smoother colors then you got all your settings now the maximum resolution is 40 megapixels that's pretty good but the only reason I don't use 40 megapixels because you can't zoom in and out all your basic settings let's go to the different modes you got aperture mode now this is if you want to take a picture of something like a standard object not a human a standard object and you want the book effect use aperture mode you can also change the aperture so if you put it on all the way to end it's basically a regular shot the middle a little bit blur and all the way to the left maximum blurry you got night shot which is the truth on this phone wait till you see the pictures for yourself you got portrait mode alright so if you want to take a picture of somebody and use the book effect you can also add the beauty but the beauty level on max make the person look nice and young you got your regular photos you got video you got pro mode ID samsung pro mode change the ISO to white balance the autofocus do whatever you want and you got more now look how many more different shooting modes you got slow-motion panoramic monochrome that's too black and white you got your AR lens that's all your little cute emojis you got like paintings HDR time-lapse moving pictures filters stickers documents underwater hey you got this one I don't even know what it is plants and you got a few more stickers and documents they already inserted what is this one super macro right super macro now let's go over the video let's go over the settings maximum resolution on your video is 4k UHD now I like to shoot 1080 60 frames per second that's one thing about these phones they don't have 4k 60 frames per second so Samsung is winning in that department now let me show you some pictures that I took and this is why you're gonna understand why the scumbag camera is so sick alright so this is me basically just running my nightly errands and taking pictures as I go now jumped in the car this is a regular shot now watch what happens when I switch over to night mode look at the difference you can actually see that the dashboard is woodgrain and the first picture just looks all black put it in night mode didn't turn on the flash didn't turn on any lights look how much brighter it got night mode is not a gimmick now this is the deli regular night shot looks beautiful this is inside looking for search sees favorite food got some fresh step you see all the colors everything looks vibrant bunch of different assortments of thought juices on deck now if you go to the deli and you don't see a menu like this it ain't a real deli alright if you've never had a chopped cheese from a bodega like this you don't know to missing shout out to my man Habibi working in the front that's my dude now check this out this is again just a regular point-and-shoot shot keep your eye on that read on in now watching I switch to night mode notice how bright that on in this now even look at the car in the front all right let's go back you see that cars kind of dark blue now the owner in this dark red it looks like I turned on the flash but it's just night mode same thing a regular shot then I activate night mode bong everything is nice and bright now check this out this is just another regular shot you see that blue car you can see one car behind it now watch what happens when I activate the wide-angle lens you can see all the way to the next corner now check this out this is what I meant about the scumbag camera that's the 50 times zoom first I thought was gonna be a gimmick why would I ever need this how many times you have to park your car and then you don't know about the parking sign that's all the way in the corner you gotta walk all the way to the corner to read that sign check this out now look this is a regular shot there's a sign above that car you can't even see it from here definitely can't see it from here watch 50 times zoom there goes the Sun that's a practical use for me I can't tell you how many times I park in Manhattan and I gotta walk all the way to the corner to see the Sun now one thing I will say about 50 times zoom the pictures a little bit shaky alright so you can't really use it as a scumbag tactic you know to look at somebody's text messages from down the block because when you're in 50 times zoom the cameras gonna be moving around a lot so you're gonna have to take multiple photos I just happen to catch this one first try now here's the supermarket beautiful everything is nice and vibrant wide-angle alright regular shot wide-angle alright that's one of the hot features about these cameras nowadays wide-angle now 50 times zoom check this out you can't even see let me see if I can zoom in if i zoom all the way in you see those things hanging up above the drinks in the back alright this is a 50 x oom of that shot that is insane and I really thought this is gonna be gimmicky but I'm loving it all right the more I use it the more I'm thinking about new ways I can even incorporate to using it here's my daily dinner bunch of fruit now here goes the Velveeta shots and on the side note the funny thing is that Velveeta been sitting there since I did the p30 video the other night I set it up just like that it's still been here this is a nice little aperture shot you notice the background it's kind of blurry that's the regular shot without the aperture notice you can see everything clear there's the aperture those drinks in the back look at nice and blurry this is a good another aperture shot I just zoomed in a little bit more there's your wide-angle you can see everything on both sides of the aisles and that's just a regular close-up now you don't have to zoom up all the way to 50 you can zoom up to 20 15 whatever you want but the close-ups came out beautiful now check this out this is me I hate looking like a douchebag as usual portrait mode on the front that's the beauty cam turned on the max so the skin is looking a little bit flawless you know debating whether I want to be a fat ass to get the Tostitos or not now here's my regular video test now I'm watching this for the first time I already know this is gonna be smooth cuz you seen the p30 but let's see if it's even smoother let me turn the volume down on this oh this is a go look how smooth it is that's what I'm talking about this is right up there with the iPhone in the galaxies this is nice and smooth and like I always say I'm naturally a that I did all night this is a regular wide-angle shot now somewhere at the back of that picture my phone is set up with some thought activity on the display you can't even see it from here I look closely Liz's it's like our Where's Waldo you can't see it now a zoomed in a little bit more you still can't see it I went from wide-angle to regular you can't see my phone with the thought activity on display now assumed in a little bit more starting to see it right look by the Goya drinks in the back you can almost see it zoom in a little bit more all right I'll pinch it up you see it right there that's my phone with a little thought activity on display now watch the super zoom the scumbag zoom bomb look at that now I can zoom it in you could actually you could almost read the Instagram name not really it's a little bit blurry but you could tell what it is you could clearly tell there's some thought activity it's not a cartoon that is so sick let's just do it one more time and you can't see the phone still can't see it it's coming into focus you see it barely and it's clearly right there an iPhone 10 resting on some gorgeous the scumbag zoom is not a gimmick for me I'm gonna have that feature implemented in the same fashion alright so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving the p30 pro first out of the box a major major major go now even though the prices tgh and there's no quad HD display there's no headphone jack and my biggest gripe no dual speakers it kind of makes up for it for having the best build quality that I use yet the color is amazing in this ip68
