today uh from cyia it's actually a Cydia tweak application uh called Beyond SMS and as you can tell from the name of the application it's going to be about SMS and I know you're like I've had I've had an SMS application from City for a long time now I have so many SMS things but this is just another one and um I actually really do like this one this is the only one I found myself to uh continue using so anyways once you uh download it from Cydia I believe you have to restart your springboard it made me but I'm not sure if that's just cuz I had something else or or if it was from Beyond SMS but it's right there you'll see you have it in your settings in your iPhone or iPod touch or iPad which I don't know why you'd want an iPad or an iPod Touch for SMS if you can't even SMS but uh anyways here it is let's click on it and as you see right here you have all the options you can either enable or disable which is always nice I hate having to go through and turn everything off when you can just do it all right up here and then passcode you can change your passcode because there is a universal passcode for you to be able to get into your messages so there's lock SMS app which means that you lock the uh the message lock the message with like a passcode four-digit passcode uh camera background I recommend turning that off I had it on just to show an example but I'm GNA turn that off text to emoji means that it picks up text from like Android and puts it on iPhone and all kinds of different things that have Emoji so I'll turn that off because I don't even have emoji on here so you can turn that on though if you if you would like and conversation conversation hiding means uh when you go to your messages application it hides uh certain certain message threads that you want it to hide so like from right when you go into messages that shows all your messages right there you can make it hide certain ones so that nobody can see them so I like that feature a lot and I'm going to continue to have that on uh throughout this video so that no personal information gets out there so conversation locking means that uh the whole conversation will be locked between you and another person again you have to type in your password and bubble opacity is uh just you move this up and down for how light you want how light or dark you want the back of the message to be the opacity of it so let me just go ahead and show you uh with these certain settings right here on let me go ahead and show you what it looks like so as you see my messages app is right there we're going to go ahead and click on it and it's should ask me for a passcode there you go so I made my passcode 1 2 3 4 and there we go I hid certain messages um I didn't hide some of them but I hid most of them that uh contain personal information so anyways uh I'm going to go ahead and click on this for myself this is just me and myself and it makes me under my passcode again as you see going type it in and there we go we have a bunch of highs so let's see um I can just type something back and you know it's just you see the opacity has changed in those you can change it to whatever you want so let me go and show you what the uh the background looks like the uh picture background I which I said I suggest you don't do but let's turn that on and then you don't have to respring in between each uh setting either you could actually just switch back and forth and just they uh change right away there's no respringing needed so 1 2 3 4 and here's the background 1 2 3 4 and it might be a little slow there we go you can see that's my uh room you can see it's the background as the uh as the background for the text thing it's pretty cool but uh again it's it slows it down quite a bit and it could crash your messages application so I suggest turning that off it's cool and all but it's not necessary honestly uh but if you were ended that kind of thing then that's definitely uh something cool for you so I'm going to go and turn that off and let me just go into Cydia and let you know how to get this which is probably pretty self-explanatory all you got to do is search it but I always do this so I figured Why Stop Now so let's go to Beyond search Beyond SM SMS all one word and you'll see a blue one and a black one the blue one means you have to pay for it the black one means it's free so oh it's got to refresh my data it's just going to say all these things have failed yep there we go all right this should be done momentarily all right let's return to Cydia come on hurry up and reload all right there we go all right so beyond SMS there we go so you see you have two of them this is from Big Boss or you can get it for free right there let's just go ahead and click on the paid one just to check out how much it is oh it's 99 Cents I saw it for a little Split Second uh it is 99 so definitely not bad definitely not bad for an application that uh delivers a lot right there you see
