"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enreintroduced for the 2011 model year the Buick Regal aimed to revitalize the Buick brand with a sporty luxury sedan competitively priced with great standard equipment and numerous options this car offers serious features for a reasonable price different trim levels allow for varying degrees of comfort and performance making this car a great choice for anyone alright we're here inside a 2012 Buick Regal this is in fact a base model yep with 182 horsepower and 172 foot-pounds of torque this car is by no means fast but it's not really meant to be the zero to 60 in a fairly slow nine point nine seconds but the cool thing is if you upgrade to the Regal turbo or Regal GS models those are those are for you performance people the GS the top-of-the-line 270 horsepower in urdu zero to 16 6.2 seconds and it's offered with a manual transmission regarding the interior space in the front two seats it's pretty good for someone who is 5 foot 10 and a half looks like you at six three-year it's a bit limited it's limited you're skimming the roof yeah unfortunately in the back even at my height it's really poor it's what you get when you have the sloping sporty looking roofline but yeah my head is jammed into the ceiling legroom is adequate that legroom is pretty good yeah but just impression this car feels maybe because we're both bigger guys we're taller it just feels slightly compressed it doesn't feel spacious and wide this car received a 5-star overall crash-test rating as well as four out of five in dependability from JD Power and Associates so it will be reliable and safe and it also gets pretty good gas mileage at 19 miles per gallon city and 31 miles per gallon highway all right so Eddie just shifted over into what view it calls the select shift mode tell us a little bit about that essentially you're in Drive and you push this lever to the left and there's a little plus and a minus sign you push off it shifts up a Gary you pull down to shift down the gear it's like a semi semi manual automatic transmission oh it's okay it makes it it's amusing to play around with it's not liking that snap gear changes fast but one thing I noticed about it that I didn't like is that you do in fact push it forward for an upshift and pull it back for a downshift it seems kind of counterintuitive a lot of German cars it's the opposite a real sequential manual transmission you pull it backwards for an upshift and you push it forwards for a downshift but those are just technicalities we're it's not a few wicker yeah it's just something fun so the - as you can see is pretty simple it looks nice it's all black it's got this kind of piano ebony black trim there the plastic doesn't look too tacky maybe because it's in this matte black finish as with lots of newer cars you have many steering wheel buttons here on the right side of controls all the phone commands volume and changing the channel for the radio on the left side you have cruise control which is a nice touch for any long distance trip most cars have cruise control the system is kind of annoying you it's got like a little scrolling bar that you push up and down to change speeds on the but just to push so I wouldn't say in my opinion that this car is very exciting it's pretty plain but it does a lot of things adequately it's got good mpg it's got good safety ratings good reliability it looks decent and you can get it for a relatively cheap price so if you're not looking for something with extra pizzazz you just need something basic to get you around town I mean this is front wheel drive and it will work in inclement weather we're here around the Detroit area in Michigan and the weather is anything but lovely and the car works totally fine the thing is this car is not a luxury car it is more of an entry-level it's a better than a just a Ford Fusion it's better than a Malibu but it's not as good as I just say naughty a floor or something like that it's got a lot of features I think the biggest benefit is the fact that for such a cheap price you can get leather seats heated leather seats a bunch of other cool options and everything plus there's a sunroof owners are nice that in the wicker the seats are okay the seat where Omar certainly worked very well I mean I'm roasting right now it's great it's 28 degrees outside well I hope you enjoyed this review like always please browse our channel and subscribe and if you have any cars that you'd like to see us review please comment below and leave the year make and model and we'll try our best to get that done like always if you have any more questions visit us atreintroduced for the 2011 model year the Buick Regal aimed to revitalize the Buick brand with a sporty luxury sedan competitively priced with great standard equipment and numerous options this car offers serious features for a reasonable price different trim levels allow for varying degrees of comfort and performance making this car a great choice for anyone alright we're here inside a 2012 Buick Regal this is in fact a base model yep with 182 horsepower and 172 foot-pounds of torque this car is by no means fast but it's not really meant to be the zero to 60 in a fairly slow nine point nine seconds but the cool thing is if you upgrade to the Regal turbo or Regal GS models those are those are for you performance people the GS the top-of-the-line 270 horsepower in urdu zero to 16 6.2 seconds and it's offered with a manual transmission regarding the interior space in the front two seats it's pretty good for someone who is 5 foot 10 and a half looks like you at six three-year it's a bit limited it's limited you're skimming the roof yeah unfortunately in the back even at my height it's really poor it's what you get when you have the sloping sporty looking roofline but yeah my head is jammed into the ceiling legroom is adequate that legroom is pretty good yeah but just impression this car feels maybe because we're both bigger guys we're taller it just feels slightly compressed it doesn't feel spacious and wide this car received a 5-star overall crash-test rating as well as four out of five in dependability from JD Power and Associates so it will be reliable and safe and it also gets pretty good gas mileage at 19 miles per gallon city and 31 miles per gallon highway all right so Eddie just shifted over into what view it calls the select shift mode tell us a little bit about that essentially you're in Drive and you push this lever to the left and there's a little plus and a minus sign you push off it shifts up a Gary you pull down to shift down the gear it's like a semi semi manual automatic transmission oh it's okay it makes it it's amusing to play around with it's not liking that snap gear changes fast but one thing I noticed about it that I didn't like is that you do in fact push it forward for an upshift and pull it back for a downshift it seems kind of counterintuitive a lot of German cars it's the opposite a real sequential manual transmission you pull it backwards for an upshift and you push it forwards for a downshift but those are just technicalities we're it's not a few wicker yeah it's just something fun so the -
