I Expected More From This GMC....
The Call for Help
We received a call for a truck that is stuck in the sand at Stand Hollow State Park. The truck is described as a GMC duy, which is a big one. We are going to head out there and see if we can get it out of the sand back on the road. It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon with a temperature of 99°, and we're looking forward to getting this truck out.
As we arrive at the scene, we notice that it's about to get stormy. There's a little bit of breeze out there, and we can see clouds gathering on the horizon. We'll need to get this truck pulled out quickly before the storm hits. Our crew is geared up and ready to go, with our trusty tow truck, the More Ver. It's got cup pulling and not a drink, making it perfect for this job.
We take a moment to assess the situation and figure out how we're going to get the truck out. We notice that there are some chains hooked up to the truck, but they need to be knocked off first. Our cameraman is getting ready to capture some footage of this operation. I mention to Rhett that we should use our Dy cables to pull the truck, as it's a heavy one and will require some extra effort.
As we begin to work on the truck, we realize that it's much heavier than we initially thought. It's got an Azub-based engine L5P Duramax in-house, which is quite a feat. We're using our Super shackle to pull the truck, but it's proving to be a challenge. I mention to Rhett that this truck was super heavy, and I'm surprised it didn't take more than one bounce to get it out.
We've got another call for a car stuck in the sand at San Hollow State Park. We're going to head out there and see if we can get it out quickly. It's a beautiful day with no wind, making it perfect conditions for this operation. Our crew is geared up and ready to go, with our trusty tow truck, the More Ver.
As we arrive at the scene, I ask Rhett why we take the More Ver or the Banana. He explains that they're chosen based on fuel efficiency, as well as other factors such as cup pulling and not a drink. Last night, I was curious to see which one of them we took more, and it turns out we chose the More Ver.
We get started on the car, and it's clear that this one is going to be an easier job than the truck. The car is an all-wheel drive model, and our crew is confident that we can get it pulled out quickly. We notice that the car doesn't have enough power to move it, so we'll need to use a recovery eye to help guide us through.
As we begin to pull the car out of the sand, we realize that there's not much traction control on this one. Our crew member Brett is getting ready to jump in and take over, using his knowledge of traction control to get the car moving. We're following instructions from a trusted towing and recovery company, which has provided us with valuable guidance on how to navigate this situation.
The operation is going smoothly, and we're making good progress. The car is actually driving on the sand, and it's amazing to see how easily it's moving. We finally reach the road, and our crew member Brett thanks us for letting him join in on the fun. It was a team effort, and we appreciate the cooperation from all parties involved.
The truck, which was described as a white one, is grateful for our help. We're just glad that we could get it out of the sand before the storm hit. Our crew is geared up and ready to go, with their trusty tow trucks and equipment at the ready. They appreciate your viewers' patience and understanding as they work on these challenging operations.
The operation was a success, thanks to our team's expertise and hard work. We're just glad that we could help this truck get back on the road, and we're looking forward to the next challenge.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso we got a call for a truck that is stuck in the sand out to stand Hollow State Park I think it's a GMC duy like it's a big one we're going to head out there and see if we can get it out of the sand back on the road it is a beautiful Sunday afternoon it's about 99° and we're going to get them out we're rolling in the more ver today because that's the one we picked looks like we got a storm headed our way yeah there's a little bit of a breeze out there isn't it yeah there is get this guy pulled out and go home and find shelter look at all those razors you want to go pick them all up we're going to one at a time in pieces you ever thought about expanding to the water like doing water recovery nope I'll let Heavy D do all that water recovery stuff I think the PEC Brothers even did a water recovery didn't they uh they got a boat sunk boat yeah we're going to leave that up to the pros I don't see him out there do you no but he could be back over there he was pretty close to the road there we passed him by now I think yeah or is he over here oh he's right there he's right at the very end there he is look at all the chains they have hooked up to it yeah let's get those unhooked woo Risky Business what do we got here 3500 duy that is a big truck got some chains up here spec you want them chains knocked off is that a Raising Arizona no that's a brother where I oh that is I expect you want them chains knocked off this is Pioneers for trucks for thousands of years you're getting a workout then we should Dy cables through the sail oh yeah you used to park your tow truck up here and he would drag cables all the way down there hundreds of feet sometimes thousand over th ft 30 that's this one tell me what motor's in that truck it's in azub based engine l5p Duramax inh housee oh look at that truck oh man he made it but he was fighting for it I'm going to walk over here and get you guys another camera angle real quick I have you guys right here and I have you guys right here all right they blocked her path yeah I know pick that silver they're getting ready to move we can just sneak past this is our cameraman for a minute yeah it's a pretty heavy truck it is I felt it oh man you can tell which Super shackle gets used the most yeah or it doesn't get used correctly or doesn't get used correctly I have used it incorrectly a few times all right thank you so much yeah thanks a lot okay thank you so much see sir yeah thank you have a good one guys cruising along the beach just seeing if anybody else needs help you see anybody Batman no Robin Beach looks clear sometimes you got to grind them if you can't find them that truck was super heavy I thought we'd get it out in one bounce but it took two I too was shocked so we got a call for a car that is stuck in the sand in San Hollow State Park so we're going to head out there and see if we can get it out yeah man of find it we'll get it out for sure the nice day a no wind so we won't get sand blasted we got R back there he saids he's going to make sure we film all this I'll be running the camera and whatever else I'm supposed to do we El got peut along to the ride so we still get a lot of questions about why do we take the banana or why do we take the more how do we choose well tonight I decided I wanted to take the banana but Rhett said The more ver it's got cup pulling and not a drink so that's why we took the more ver one that's got the most fuel last night I got curious to see over the last two months what did we take more the mor or the banana and I actually thought we took the banana more than the Mora in the last 2 months but we didn't so if you just go by the jobs that are on YouTube the banana did is like 32 I'm going to check my numbers and be right back all right so these are the numbers from the last two months the banana did 12 jobs the mor did 27 jobs the wrecker did 11 jobs Dory the explor or Deja Vu if you will did two jobs and the rental Jeep did one so that's how it broke down so yeah I felt like I was favoring the banana lately but I haven't been it's been the more I don't know what that says about anything but at least you know the numbers now how's it going well this though it's a lot more Sandy than it was last time I was here yeah so and then we just I don't know if that that came out of the way that no one over there that's our blanket 10 right so walk gu it over there all right is this all-wheel drive do you know yeah you have to push the button right down here cuz every time you start it or it's right down there okay all right here I'm going to go over here doesn't not have a power or two or is there a parking brake on this thing yeah it's off it's off it's just not powerful doesn't have enough power to move it yeah let's see does it have a nautical eye Towing and doesn't look like it Towing and Recovery so we do get a lot of questions about that too like why don't you just use the toey connection hey there might be one right there all right yeah sometimes it's not worth the time to there it is find it let's use that so you've got a recovery eye in here we're going to find that the reason we don't use them is because often they're missing okay shine that down here let's see what we got that's a nice one right there I might have pulled forward too far uh I think it's just barely going to reach okay that is a nice arm there hey yep hey at least it's stamped steel of somewhat robust construction and it's not wrapped in plastic all right okay Brett you want to jump in yeah so let's see your traction control is off all the drive is on turn your wheel to the right little bit more a little bit more a little bit more right there that's straight okay okay just follow me out I will do my best let's see how this goes should go smooth this going pretty easy this car is actually driving on the sand really nice I don't know what we're going it feels like we've been driving forever all right here we are finally the road we are there so easy look yeah it's awesome okay thanks you appreciate it yeah hey you guys have a great yeah hey you too thanks that wasn't too bad we got them pulled out yeah what kind of car was that a white one oh no place to hook on them new cars there isn't yeah we appreciate you hanging out with us thanks for watching that's real nice oh Fin's back up\n"
