How to Use Chat GPT on Your Apple Watch

Welcome everybody, I'm Andrew here at Apple Insider, and if you haven't heard, I'm assuming you have by now about chat GPT. The latest version of this AI assistant has just been released, and it's definitely something to get excited about. In today's video, we're going to show you how to use chat GPT on your Apple Watch, including using your voice and sending responses as text messages or emails.

To start, head over to the App Store on your Apple Watch. Search for "Chat GPT" and open up the app. The interface is pretty straightforward, with a brief introduction to the app at the top. You can tap on this to learn more about what chat GPT can do, including its ability to use voice control.

One of the coolest features of chat GPT is its speech control. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a button that says "Speech Control." Tap this and it will enable or disable your voice control feature for chatting with chat GPT on your Apple Watch. Additionally, if you tap "Cancel," there's also an option to turn off the sound altogether. This way, you can still have the responses read to you just like you're responding to Siri.

The main screen of the app features a text box where you can type in your questions or prompts for chat GPT. You can also use the microphone icon at the bottom left corner to ask a question using voice commands. For example, I'll tap this and say "How many legs does a caterpillar have?" Chat GPT will then think about it for just a moment before providing an answer.

If you want to add a personal touch to your responses, you can also use chat GPD's poetry feature. Simply type in the name of the person you want to dedicate the poem to, and chat GPD will come up with a beautiful message expressing your love or appreciation for that person. In this case, I'll ask chat GPD to write a poem for my wife, Faith, who loves daisies.

The resulting poem is absolutely lovely, and it's easy to see why this feature would be so useful in romantic relationships or special occasions. The best part? You can share these poems directly with the person you care about via text message or email.

Let's try one more example. What's the difference between a Thanksgiving cactus and a Christmas cactus? Chat GPT will provide an answer, which it does in just a moment. As chat GPD explains, there are actually several differences between these two plants, but I won't bore you with all the details.

What's great about using chat GPD on your Apple Watch is that you can easily send responses to others via text message or email. To do this, simply tap on the "Share" button at the bottom of the screen and select your contact list. You can even change the subject line and add a personal touch by typing in the recipient's name.

In addition to using voice control and sending messages, chat GPD also allows you to save responses for later use. This feature is really useful if you want to revisit a previous conversation or ask follow-up questions without having to start over from scratch.

microphone down here in the lower corner so I'm going to go ahead and tap that and use that to ask a question how many legs does a caterpillar have once I tap done it's going to go ahead and think about that for just a moment there we go caterpillar is going to have between 10 and 16 legs super useful let's go ahead and try something else tap on done again let's ask another question can you write a poem for my wife Faith who loves daisies let it go ahead and think about this for just a moment of all the flowers Daisy's rain their petals white as winter snow but oh the golden Center is bright like some beams on a summer's night faith my dear I hope these words convey my love in every way like daisies pure and full of life you light up each and every day that was so sweet so we can go ahead and tap on share and I can actually go ahead and send this directly to my wife as a response right here in a text message very easy to do just tap on faith there we go she's right there at the top there's my poem it'll send it right to her it doesn't send the question only the response from chat GPD let's try one more here what's the difference between a Thanksgiving Cactus and a Christmas cactus let it think again for a moment there we go that is exactly right and I know you guys can't hear it on video but there's actually audio so this will actually speak the results to you that you can enable or disable you can also just turn off the sound on your Apple watch and it won't come out but you can have those responses read to you just like you're responding to Siri or something right here on your Apple watch other than through text messages you can also send your responses as an email to people as well so again you can add your contacts it has your email you can change the subject line and then it'll include the body of the message as the response from chat GPD so that's it that's how easy it is to use chat GPD on your Apple watch let me know what you guys
