A Long Weekend Vlog: Catching Up with Friends and Family

It's been a long weekend, and I'm finally sitting down to record a vlog for all my lovely patrons out there. As you can see, I've got a lot of catch-up work to do, but that's what makes this vlog so special - it's a behind-the-scenes look at my life, warts and all.

I started the weekend with some quality time with Kristen and Steve. We had a blast hanging out on the boardwalk, drinking, and just enjoying each other's company. It was great to spend some time with them, even if most of the places we wanted to visit were closed. But that didn't stop us from having a good time - we made the most of our weekend and took advantage of the beautiful weather.

One of the highlights of my weekend was spending time with my dad. We had a lovely evening together, just catching up and enjoying each other's company. I love spending time with him; he's always been a great source of support and advice in my life. Even if we didn't get to do anything too exciting, it was still a wonderful evening.

Of course, no weekend would be complete without a visit from some feathered friends. We had a few ducks visiting us at the house, and I even got to enjoy a few rounds with them (although I'm not sure how many rounds were actually successful - one of the ducks did seem to escape with a feather or two). It's always a treat to watch these little guys swim around in the pond.

As I was hanging out with my dad, we started discussing some upcoming events and projects. We talked about how excited I am for our upcoming trip to Wildwood - it's going to be a blast! And we also chatted about some of the new stuff that's coming my way, including a few eBay shipments that are arriving soon.

Speaking of eBay, I did end up signing up with their referral program. It's been a game-changer for me, and I'm loving the fact that I get to save seven dollars on our next Doordash order. Thanks, patrons - your support means a lot!

As the weekend came to a close, I was feeling pretty exhausted. But there's one thing that always gives me energy: talking about my favorite topic (driftwood). There's just something so fascinating about these pieces of driftwood that have been smoothed out by the ocean over time.

Finally, as I wrap up this vlog, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you for your support. It means the world to me, and I'm so glad that I get to share my life with all of you through these videos. yeah it's not gonna be as fun as usual not gonna lie however i believe kristen and steve are coming over today with bailey bailey bailey bailey right hunter this dude pees on everything in sight i swear to be a male dog but yeah regardless of the quarantine limitations and all that stuff we will still have a great time and i hope you guys enjoy it unfortunately i don't think we can do a fire this weekend by order of the fire marshal i'm not sure why that can't be a coincidence it has to be related to the quarantine is that a frog and that's a fish it's actually a lot of fish in this lake large pond whatever i'm sorry is there a reason why we're going this way what do you smell what do you smell i might go in the water this weekend i mean it's doubtful but there's always that chance i might just take my shoes off if i'm wearing shorts and i'll just walk in oh god hunter what are you doing come on hunter we're going the wrong way no no no no no no no no no that that's that's a big no no come on come on we are not going in the water nope i mean i don't mind if hunter goes in the water uh it's more it's more so mom and dad who won't like hunts are coming back with muddy feet and i can't blame them being in a house and all come on sir although maybe i'll let him go in a little bit all right tell no one all right tell nobody guys not over here though there's a ton of tadpoles oh my god there are thousands of tadpoles what are you doing come on here follow hunt everybody come in come on sir i just want to see if this door opens you know man it's tradition nope hunter come here come on hunter come here this way no all right let's go back it's a little windy outside so hopefully this camera does a good job throughout the weekend so guys what is new with you if you're a patron and you most likely are if you're watching this close to the time of recording is eventually these vlogs will go public again i hope you had a great week thank you so much for your support i it it has been an interesting past two months for me my content um and with literally millions of americans losing their jobs i just want to express my gratitude and how appreciative i am that i can still do my job um and still get paid for doing my job which is great it's really really amazing and of course i cannot do that without you so thank you it is quiet look at this it is so quiet so basically because of the quarantine i believe transients those are people who just visit for the weekend or whatever are not allowed so that's exactly what i meant by it's just going to be a quiet weekend and honestly that's okay it's okay we have the house we have the company of our family we have food it's gonna be a good weekend all right go this way you're the boss dang zack is skinny told you earlier well well i don't know if i made it sound like kirsten and steve are coming today they're not i thought they were sitting there working today tomorrow so the weekend probably saturday either friday later or saturday i was looking forward to seeing them tonight honey they have worked on christmas work too i feel light-headed i'm still working from home yeah i need food yo well maybe we'll find something i need food bro i need food food bro right i need food tell them you want to go split a sandwich with gems maybe tell them everything we're getting at acme go i don't know um for sure stuff to make nachos grande de franco style that's for dinner tonight beef yep good beef is the way to go with nachos of mine um definitely barbecue chicken for the girl one night definitely buffalo chicken dip stuff for this car he parked right here by a turn i think he broke down unless he broke down and that sucks i'm excited apologies oh my god okay the poor guy went flying did you see it i did so basically stuff for dinner are we gonna look out make sure i get breakfast stuff are we going to liquor store it's up to you yeah i can get a little coaster okay i need to go there isn't there one over here ah okay there's not open i have to open friday there's avalon we found out we that was a fun weekend we found out we can do rest in peace a fire yes just not right now oh because of wind is probably why but probably tonight it says you may have individual flyers at your campsite yeah yes so we can't have two i don't feel like myself i wonder if we're allowed to bike ride in driftwood i need food i don't see why not it's a bike ride yeah they're not going to be that crowded but you still have to wear a mask if you come across people yeah and if they try to stop you you just blink away say ciao like all right ciao the office or if you see a golf cart coming we put our mask on let's make it look like we're responsible because we are responsible i will be buying some things that are hacking you know i got a paper cut remember i actually like the sushi from there was this this was that this one yeah yeah chris and steve are having sushi tonight for their four-year wedding anniversary and kristen's surprising steve and making them a dessert guys i woke up at 7 30 today that's early for me yeah and you went to bed at midnight i went to bed around 12 30 so i got like seven hours but still david that's how much i get on an average work night seven hours so you actually slept like a real person i would work for a night guys i don't guys i have low self-esteem trust me and i don't know why you're beautiful i do not love myself at all me neither but look at my hair i am garbage i have been gray for weeks guys i've missed three hair appointments so far is this our turn already no we don't turn by that gas station do we the parkway yeah oh what do i know it's close yeah oh yeah yeah because i always comment on the fact that that used to be a wawa see you guys oh you guys are good all right now rev up they've been bad patrons remember the girl flipped me off here last time you and i came in you didn't even do anything wrong i pulled up in a parking spot that apparently she wanted or wasn't she leaving god forbid yeah but the point is it wasn't anything to flip the finger especially not someone older than you okay it's really hot in here disrespecting i don't know how to change the climate we're here mom it doesn't matter it doesn't matter because i'm having a flat flash mob curb i'm not gonna hit the curb this is why you got flipped off no i'm gonna grab this spot right here that'll be proud of me only one person to worry about where's my mask you notice the only second time i drove this car last night it was the first time i asked you before we left if you had it so you better have it mascot people it's the mask up okay so park it's the law in certain states isn't that interesting it depends on cases yeah pa is pretty bad jersey's pretty bad this part of jersey's not bad north jersey is delaware bad no i don't think it's aspan is florida open now yeah are they art is good are they back to normal i think so i watched a video that david shared last night on facebook what about the west coast of somebody losing their marbles in a news review i love it news how everybody's like oh florida shouldn't open up because they're going to be the next new york and they've been fine honestly i did i did think it was a little early at first it might it might be okay now this is like two weeks ago it depends on cases and you still have to do social distancing and be responsible to be fair it's really hard to comment on a state you don't live in exactly exactly we don't know what it's like in arizona right i don't know it's a random state but okay all right let's go guys i gotta get out of this hot car guys there's a line to get in of covid so basically as someone leaves they let one person in or two depending on i guess i don't know yeah it's a short line it'll take like two minutes see we're pretty much next like it's like waiting in line for a roller coaster we're in and the first thing i see is good old quiche right which i love twitch now this is the first thing i saw oh look at all that guys looks so good let's get the cheese for crackers by the way the line was really fresh in-store daily slices some corn on the cob and we got that dip we talked about oh you got brioche yeah by the way sheets is done with burritos it's been that way for months but i miss it but to be fair i've never tried their pretzel roll my shell my cello my fellow sheets fans please answer me this question is the pretzel roll good at sheets you can put these right in the microwave pretzel roll in case you can't hear mom just ran over my foot i'm suing we got to get them burgers y'all we just got to find the brand mom liked last time pork loin so i'm buying this for the fam guys check it out you don't need baked beans these are good yeah shrimp steamed 25 to 25 count i'm sorry 21 to 25 737 guys it's got that old bay seasoning so good definitely a good snack or appetizer or whatever is that it they look really good steakhouse i love a good burger and a good hot dog oh baby baby baby scramble is that cool baby baby baby porko's completely sold out and we have that stuff they might the patties that mom was looking for wall burgers angus beef burgers bacon cheddar jalapeno all right blenders beef i like that guys mom just couldn't wait yeah we just spent how much 200 and something dollars you did i i spent 17. for food for the weekend oh baby baby is there a fork somewhere i'm just taking a wing you want the other one ew what all the meat i need a fork ah rich people there's no fork i'm gonna have some at home i just want one little piece of chicken just rip it off david y'all want to see my hot dog oh did you i mean i bought these at the dollar store and made a bunch of them for everywhere all the cars i do it again there's a tiny cut on my finger i'm sorry i ah dramatic guys look what dave had bought me wasn't that nice to him for her no thank you sure i didn't have it yet don't panic guys but we have apple earbuds hanging out of the car oh my god why are you using wired earbuds in 2020 that's the real terror here so i did not get a beef empanada today i'm gonna i'm saying this out of nowhere um i watch a youtube channel where are we i'll see you at the casey productions something like that basically he goes to all these convenience stores he goes and gas stations i let it slide he went the sheets wawa bucky's in texas have you have you been to buckeyes that's where dad cut his life put games you've been the buckies yeah we lived right down the street from bucky isn't it huge yeah it's the world's that was our convenience we've been there yeah how we never talked about this arc we used to go let's go to bucky's you know it's the world's largest convenience store right is it really yes we used to say we're going buckies the thing is it doesn't even look like a convenience store because it's so big it's like a grocery store well they weren't that big back then it was like it was literally a gas station but nowadays it's the biggest one how old are you i'm 34. thanks mother that was 30 three years ago is that new no i think it was always something else it's new for a food mart is there a gas no i think it used to be a gas station oh okay so anyway that this guy really likes sheets he he picked sheets over wawa which i don't you she shouldn't pick one um i think wawa said no he said it wow had the best coffee which i agree with um i think he liked the hoagie i don't know yeah ginger peach was very good last night thank you it's been a while you're welcome he he got the meatball sandwich which he liked a lot the cheese stuck to the wrapper which he's a little disappointed about which i agree with that is annoying yeah um anyway getting to the point one of the things she tried at wawa was the beef empanada and it's one of the items that you can get on the warmer he tried the beef empanada and the chicken empanada he didn't let the chicken have banana that much yeah well no it wasn't that it was like the pepper or something he didn't like but the beef empanada he really enjoyed so ever since watching that video i want to try beef and panada but i got a hot dog and mac and cheese by accident so when i'm there in the near future remind me to get a beef empanada and i gotta get a cup and i got a coffee and gotta get it again and i got a coffee thank god i've only had a giveaway to the clock get a king is it okay to say how much you just spent on groceries get a guy did a gold kid care p.m and i transfer the vlog over my hard drive to my internal ssd that way i can easily preview z-blog not gonna lie i fell asleep for a little bit maybe five or ten minutes oh it's chilly out here like it's legit chilly so yeah it is thursday which means i definitely need to preview this vlog it's likely okay but i always always preview my vlogs there's no excuse to upload a video with an error nowadays no excuse hour and 25 minutes let's go baby let's go i'm not going to watch the whole thing right now i'll just watch it throughout the night but it's definitely going live tomorrow i hope where we're in central as of saturday may 30th we'll begin to reopen in phases these are open already all these stores but it's really not many that's mine lancaster lincoln highway east oh saturday guys oh baby baby that's so cool um i just searched for this goodwill on facebook so each each one has has their own page which is nice it's not the most exciting page but for updates like this i i think i think it's important to check now and then that's so cool i don't know guys so yeah stay tuned next weekend if all goes well i can start sourcing again and i'm bringing you with me i mean i've been doing pretty well on ebay but come on you can't be good well guys you just can't beat the deals i'm legit hyped but the only thing is we have to hope my store is one of those stores that opens but it shows the house it shows an open door uh so i think it works all right we're at walmart dad's getting on tv right at least obviously when i'm here i get the prices are cheap i don't think yes you're on samsung right yes sir what size do you think i don't know 35 wide yeah so we need 35 inches width not diagonal because it needs to fit in that space you can't always measure the tv diagonally when you're trying to fit it in a confined space so in this case we're going with not diagonal exactly are you nervous no i'm very nervous just kidding this walmart there dude this walmart is huge by the way this is the biggest wall it goes way back there and way back there it's insane mean ours is pretty big in lancaster this is bigger but this this this one is definitely bigger yeah oh clearance baby here i come all right so samsung is preferred but if we no walmart's paranoid i agree though this is stupid the whole one-way thing just just use common sense no clearing stuff over here this is their only tvs the small ones i feel like there should be more tvs kind of weird we go down there dad wow we have bins of clearance so eventually this is what i want my ebay inventory to look like in the basement just have little things like flash drives and whatever in bins like this with codes on there like numbers so i can just pull it out but like boom ship ship ship very cool got some things over here too of course you're a mouse clearance 75 dollars was 58. i'm gonna have to scan that one real quick update on mom's situation we got some auntie mama pancake mix y'all got some eggies bacon what what i say eggies more craft stuff imagine that sausage oh speaking of i i have my brown and serve that i gotta make oh what is this james hard hair he's gotta go right i don't want topped that with the tray now i'm going to top the tray with more kindling so that way constant heat is going from the bottom to the middle and then to the top it's gonna be good guys it's gonna be mad i was it may have been an accident who knows but the point is the bag was in the water i took out the bag there were tadpoles in the bag it took me a good like solid five to ten minutes to cycle through all the trash and dirt fine milk being dramatic um so i thought i got them all i was walking the back to the trash i look closely there's one little tadpole left and i said run force i ran back to the water and i'm like run for it and i folded the bag in a way where there's a little bit of water and the water hit the table so i hit a little squirm like a sperm or whatever so i think i got him i mean he was back in the water so i i just hope he's all right david save the day is it so wrong to care no this girl is still giving this guy a haircut it's been like an hour he's not been here it's crazy all right let's go i am actually quite excited to get some work done i miss working like i legit miss working too much relaxation is a bad thing all right hunter we're leaving i'll see
