Creating Creepy Eyeball Glasses with Digital Keychain Photo Frames
Kip K presents creepy eyeball glasses that can make your creepy eyeball glasses using digital keychain photo frames. These are little 1 and 1/2 in LCD screen keychains that display photos. They have a USB cable that you can plug in to upload just about any kind of photo you want to. This thing this one holds 58 photos.
To get into this thing, we need to use a small screwdriver and remove the small Phillips head screws. There's four in this one, and then the case comes apart fairly easily inside you'll see the LCD screen and the little board. And there's a couple of screws that hold the board in place on the back cover so those need to come out too. Once you have the board out, you can see the buttons that control everything are still easily accessible.
Our two digital photo frames have been uncased and are ready to use. Now it's time to put them in something. I found these big sunglasses at my local low prices store, and these are going to work perfectly for this project. Get the digital keychain photo frames first, and bring them to the store to make sure they fit inside the glasses.
To attach our digital keychain photo frames to the sunglasses, we need to cut through the lenses. I found the easiest way was to make a small paper template. Put a piece of paper over the LCD screen and made a couple of marks, then drew it out so that it's just smaller than the outside edge of the screen. Then plac that inside the lens. Using a Sharpie, made some marks. The easiest way to cut through these lenses is using a Dremel, which I did, and it gives a nice clean finish.
Once both lenses have been cut, hold the frame up on the inside and make sure you have just enough space to see the LCD screen. Now it's time for some hot glue and that's what we're going to use to put a couple of dabs in each corner of the holes we cut out. Then we'll mount our photo frames inside.
Now your creepy eyeball glasses are done. I found a bunch of really weird eyeballs, and I made a left and right image using my photo editor, and put him in both of the photo frames. You can get really creative with this and put just about any kind of image you want inside these photo frames. It makes a really cool effect at night.
Tell us in the comments what image you'd use to make your creepy eyeball glasses even more unique. How to make a pair of creepy eyeball glasses click the Box on the left for more cool videos and the Box on the right for some more hacks. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time.
