HTC 10 vs Samsung Galaxy S7 Camera Test Comparison

**Epic Camera Comparison: Samsung S7 vs HTC 10**

In this video comparison, we'll put two of the latest flagship devices from Samsung and HTC head-to-head to see which one comes out on top in terms of camera performance. We're pitting the Samsung S7 against the HTC 10, both of which have some impressive features that make them worthy contenders for top spot.

First up, let's take a look at the front-facing camera. Both devices feature high-quality cameras, but I think I prefer the S7 slightly. The flash on the S7 is more effective in illuminating the front display, giving you more light and improving image quality. While both cameras do an excellent job, I think the S7 has a slight edge here. It's hard to notice any significant differences between the two, but that extra bit of brightness from the S7 gives it a slight advantage.

Moving on to an outdoor macro shot, we can see that both devices are doing a fantastic job. The S7 is particularly impressive in this regard, with a nice shallow depth of field that looks very, very nice. One thing I did notice was that the HTC 10 has slightly less color accuracy, but again, it's not dramatic enough to really tell us which one is better. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference.

Now let's take a closer look at an outdoor wide-angle shot taken with both devices in 100% view. We can see that the S7 does have a slight advantage when it comes to dynamic range, favoring the foreground over the background. Meanwhile, the HTC 10 is doing its best to maintain details in the clouds, but ultimately, I think the S7 comes out on top here.

I decided to test both devices again with another wide-angle shot taken outdoors. This time, I was paying close attention to dynamic range, and I'm pleased to say that the S7 really shines here. It's able to maintain a brighter foreground while still capturing details in the background – it's truly impressive. The HTC 10 is doing its best to match this, but ultimately, it just can't quite keep up.

Next, let's move on to low-light testing. We'll be using both devices under room lighting with some additional light creeping through the window. I'm pleased to say that the S7 really comes into its own here. With a brighter image and much less noise compared to the HTC 10, it's clear which one is doing better. If you look closely at the text in the photo, you can see that the 6,000 milliamp hour text is barely visible on the HTC 10 – but on the S7, it's crystal clear.

Finally, let's take a look at both devices outdoors at night time. The S7 has a brighter image, while the HTC 10 has a slightly more colorful one. If you go in 100%, though, you can see that the HTC 10 has a slight edge when it comes to sharpness – but again, I think the S7 is doing better overall.

Using handheld mode and taking photos of both devices, I noticed that the S7's colors were a bit more muted than the HTC 10. However, with some additional flash power, the S7 was able to come out on top in terms of brightness and image quality. Overall, I think I prefer the front-facing camera on the S7 – but again, it's not dramatic enough to really tell us which one is better.

For the rear-facing camera, both devices are doing a fantastic job, with impressive low-light performance. The S7 does have a slight edge when it comes to dynamic range in wide-angle shots, while the HTC 10 has slightly sharper images outdoors. However, I think the S7's dual pixel autofocus and brighter image make up for this.

Finally, let's talk about audio quality. Both devices are capable of high-quality audio recording, but I have to say that I prefer the audio on the HTC 10 – especially when taken outdoors. The high-res audio recording helps a lot in cancelling out background noise, making it a great option for capturing clear audio in noisier environments.

Overall, both the Samsung S7 and HTC 10 are doing an excellent job with their cameras. While there are some slight differences between the two devices, they're really not dramatic enough to tell us which one is better. If I had to give an edge, it would be slightly towards the S7 – but again, that's a very close call.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up YouTube saf here on super saf TV and welcome to another epic super saf style camera comparison this time between the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the htc10 now this has been highly requested so a thumbs up for bringing it will be appreciated now in the usual style we'll be looking at both the front and rear facing cameras and also at images as well as video too do look out for the audio icon in the corner of the screen screen and that will indicate to you which device the audio is coming from too I'll be switching between these two to give you guys a better idea of the differences in audio as well so we're currently in my car so we've got plenty of light coming in from Outdoors we're using the front-facing cameras and the one key thing to mention is that the htc10 does have Optical Amy stabilization from the front-facing camera and we're going to go outside take a bit of a walk and test that out just now and then we'll do some rear facing camera tests as well as some low light tests so let's get straight to it so now we're outdoors with both front-facing cameras still going to take a bit of a walk see if that makes much of a difference um for the optical image stabilization that we've got on the HTC 10 the S7 does have Digital Image stabilization let me know if you notice a difference so now we're outdoors with both devices outside the Leicester city football ground they are going to be Crown Champions today I thought perfect opportunity for this camera comparison to mark that we're fing out 4k on both devices and although we are exporting out 1080p that means we can crop in and get lots more detail now just to test out the optical image stabilization on both here so I'm just walking here and they are both mounted to the exact same device so this is as Fair as it's going to get so I'm just going to start walking a little bit more stronger and and seeing which one has the better stabilization overall so now we're indoors with the HTC 10 just testing out the autof focus seems to be doing pretty well now same lighting with the S7 and there's that dual pixel aut to focus again absolutely unbelievable how fast it is so that was the video now before we move on to some images just to clarify a few things we are using the maximum resolution on both of these and they do have the same resolution 5 megapixels from the front-facing cameras and 12 megapixels from the rear facing cameras slight differences in aperture the S7 coming in with a wider 1.7 aperture for both the front and rear facing cameras and also the S7 uses dual pixel autofocus as opposed to the laser autofocus on the HTC 10 now I have updated both to the latest available software as well so this is what we have on both devices and all of the images have been taken on auto mode so that it is as Fair as possible and it's the mode that most people will be using now if you want to pick up a skin like I have here on my S7 Edge or even for the HTC 10 or many other devices then definitely go ahead and check out our sponsor for this episode which is dbrand dbrand have a huge selection of skins and it's a great an inexpensive way to customize the look of your smartphone I'll be leaving a link to them in the description below so definitely go ahead and check them out so now let's kick off with some selfies initially we have a super saf style car selfie and here both are doing a great job you've got decent dynamic range I can see that the S7 is a tad wider and does have a little bit more detail going in 100% you can see if you look towards my beard that the S7 does have a little bit more detail and is a little bit more sharp we are losing some detail in the sort of face area on the HTC 10 there looks like some sort of software processing going on moving on to indoor selfie in low light once again I think the S7 is doing slightly better here going in 100% you can see that the S7 has less noise compared to the HDC 10 and once again is maintaining some more of those details especially if you look towards my beard area now both of these devices also have a front-facing flash which illuminates the front display to give you some more light and they do improve the images here I think both are doing pretty well here but for me I think the S7 is doing that little bit better and doesn't have as much noise as the HTC 10 now moving on to an outdoor image this is a macro shot you can see that both are doing a great job you've got a nice shallow depth of field here as well which looks very very nice slight differences in color I think that's going to come down to your personal preference but nothing really in it now let's go in 100% And here you can see that the S7 does have a Sharper Image which I do like those droplets are a little bit more clear compared to the htc10 but both are doing an absolutely great job now an outdoor wide image outside the King Power Stadium here you can see that the S7 is favoring the foreground whereas the HDC 10 is favoring the background you can see that it's maintained a little bit more detail in those clouds I think this is going to come down to your personal preference I do like the colors better here on the S7 now just to test this a little further I took another wide angle shot Outdoors now this is where the dynamic range really kicks in once again this was both on auto and here the S7 does seem to be doing better with a brighter foreground while maintaining details in the background the HTC1 although it's doing fine it's not as bright in the foreground compared to the S7 now doing some low light tests so this is under room lighting I do like the colors better here on the HTC 10 the S7 is a little bit on the yellow side for my liking but it's definitely brighter now I dipped the light down completely so just whatever was creeping through the window here and here the S7 definitely performing better you've got much less noise compared to the HD tc10 and going in 100% you can see the clear differences here if you look at the text the 6,000 milliamp hour Tex especially it's barely visible here on the HTC1 but on the S7 it is doing much better now taking the devices Outdoors at night time the S7 A Brighter Image the hz10 a little bit more of a colorful image here I think the color was roughly in between both of these I think both are doing great here now if we go in 100% the htz1 is a little bit sharper which I do like the S7 although You've Got A Brighter Image it has used a slower shutter speed to let in more light which has introduce a little bit Shake handheld finally using the flash on both devices I do like the image here on the S7 a little bit better I think the colors are better maintained it is a little bit more on the yellow side on the htc10 so there we have it the Epic super saf style camera comparison between the htc10 and the S7 for the front-facing camera I think I did prefer the S7 a little bit better it was sharper and also for the front-facing video it did seem to have better dynamic range especially when we were outdoors I couldn't notice too much of a difference because of the optic aim stabilization that you have on the htc10 so I would have to give the edge for the front- facing camera to the S7 now for the rear facing camera I think quality-wise both were very good the S7 did have a better dynamic range when you looked at some of those wide-angle images and that dual pixel autof Focus definitely did help for low light I think both did pretty well the S7 did give you Brighter Images and especially indoors you could see the clear differences but Outdoors the HTC 10 did give a slightly Sharper Image although it wasn't as bright now for the audio I'll let you go back and have a listen but overall I do think I preferred the HTC 10 it does have highres audio recording which I do think helps especially outdoors in terms of cancelling out that background noise but I think both did a great job overall that's what I think anyway what do you think do drop me a comment below and let me know your thoughts if you want to see more images from lots of different devices then be sure to
