The Real World Experience of Owning Multiple Ferraris: What's Broken Today?
As I'm out here filming my two Ferraris, I figured it's time to update you guys on what's broken today. It's not always the case that something breaks, but sometimes things do. Take today, for example, where I discovered that the door lock on one of my cars is broken.
The door lock, specifically the inner part, is no longer functioning properly. However, the good news is that it still works from the outside, and the door can be opened without any issues. Nonetheless, it's essential to get this taken care of as soon as possible, especially since I've had a similar issue in the past. As you may recall, I filmed a video about my car a couple of weeks ago where I mentioned that the door lock was broken on the inside.
Another problem I'm facing today is with the gas gauge on one of my cars. The fuel level indicator shows a full tank, but I know it shouldn't be, given that I haven't filled it up all year. It seems like I've forgotten when exactly I last filled up the car, and I'm not sure how much gas is actually in there. To test this theory, I took one of my other cars to lunch with some friends, and we got a flashing check engine light when we pulled over. When I brought that car home, I discovered that it had a similar issue with the fuel level indicator.
To resolve these issues, I've decided to replace the faulty gas gauge with a new one. The mechanic informed me that this would require taking out the entire convertible top to access the old part, which is quite expensive. Nonetheless, as long as the car remains drivable when filled up, it's not a critical issue to address immediately.
Lastly, I've noticed an intermittent problem with the blinking slowdown light on one of my cars. The exact cause of this issue is unknown, but I suspect it might be related to a thermal couple or another complex system within the vehicle. I'll keep you updated as we explore possible solutions for this anomaly and share any relevant details about the repair process.
In conclusion, owning multiple Ferraris comes with its fair share of challenges and surprises. While some issues can be easily resolved, others require patience and persistence to resolve. Nonetheless, it's essential to stay on top of maintenance and repairs to ensure that my cars continue to run smoothly and efficiently.

it's not always the case and it's not always something that requires fixing but sometimes things break uh this car the door lock just broke today uh if you remember the video I did literally like 10 minutes ago but from you watching a couple of weeks ago uh the door lock is broken on the inside so it still works from the outside but while the door still opens you definitely want to get that taken care of uh another problem I'm having with this one is the gas gauge and the gas gauge is and I didn't fill it up at all it's it's we're going on June we're coming up on Memorial Day right now and I haven't filled this car up all year and I don't drive it a lot I drive it to and from home and everything like that but the gas gauge was just it was full and I'm like okay it's full but I know it shouldn't be full I wonder when I filled it up last and I wonder how much gas is actually in it uh one of my neighbors was we were going out to dinner with them so we took two cars and I let them take the Ferrari and I took the GT3 and as we turn onto the block he got a flashing check engine light pulled over and I'm like well I guess I know how much gases in it h so I brought it home that was the same problem I had with the dead battery when we jump started in the beginning of the year so what I did was we I disconnected the battery reconnected the battery fired it up still on half the cylinders I said it must be the gas went out put three gallons in fired it up good to go so the gas gauge is broken it was initially the float I thought was bad cuz it was staying at full the whole time now just recently after I put 26 gallons in it uh it dropped to zero and now it's all over the place it doesn't know how much gas is in it uh so the gas gauge has to be replaced and I think that's a fairly pricey fix cuz I think you have to take the whole convertible top out to get to that sort of a pain in the ass um lastly uh and this is new I don't know what it is it just could be a fluke I got the blinking slowdown light uh when I drove it into town to get lunch today with shiam and that could be a thermal couple or who knows what the hell it is uh but we'll find out we'll let you know what it is the red car here since it's here uh had a major and then after the major it had a belt wine we thought it was too pulley so I got two new pulleys for that wasn't actually those pulleys it was just the actual drive belt wasn't adjusted properly or it was a little too loose or a little too light uh tight whatever it is when you rev up the car when you're driving get this intermittent like 3 or 4 seconds like afterwards completely drivable it's been like this for like a month uh I'm about to get that taken care of it's not going to cost me anything cuz I paid for the major it's just something that they're going to fix but it was sort of annoying here look this is this is when we were filming something else there you go that's what's broken on my cars today I'm going to fix it I don't see any big bills here uh for any of these except maybe the gas gauge the fuel gauge if I want to change that but as I said the car is still drivable when I fill it up I reset the trip odometer I know I've got 350 Mi to the tank at least so it's a safe bet it's not really a critical thing to fix but it's something I'm going to fix nonetheless thank you for watching again uh
