The Thrill of the Haul: A Dollar Tree Adventure

As I stepped into the first store, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and possibility. The shelves were stocked with an array of treasures, and I was determined to pick up anything that caught my eye. My approach was simple: grab everything that looked new or interesting, knowing that it would likely be gone in a matter of days. And so, I began my haul.

My first find was a quick survive fire starter. I wasn't sure what it was for, but I knew it could come in handy someday. The thought of being stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery or out of gas made me grateful for this tiny tool. It might be useful to have in the car, and who knows when such situations will arise? I tucked the fire starter into my bag, eager to add it to my emergency kit.

As I wandered through the aisles, my eyes landed on a set of adorable notebooks from Jot. They were colorful, cute, and had a sensory feel to them that immediately drew me in. The little pink notebook with a playful cover caught my eye, and I knew it would make a great addition to any gift basket or journaling setup. The multiple color options were enticing, and I couldn't resist grabbing one for myself.

Next, I stumbled upon some hot and cold eye pads from Crafter Square. These innovative pads could be used in various ways, including as patches for junk journaling. The idea of being able to create unique designs with these little pieces was thrilling, and I couldn't wait to experiment with them. The colorful prints and varied textures had me excited to get creative.

As I explored the store further, I discovered a teaching supply section that caught my attention. Amidst the educational materials, one item stood out: a solar system mobile made from tiny pieces of yarn. What initially seemed like a simple craft project turned into an idea for incorporating these small parts into a space-themed junk journal. The die-cut quality and versatility of the pieces were impressive, and I couldn't resist grabbing some for my own creative endeavors.

The Space theme continued with a set of cute stickers that I simply had to have. They added a touch of whimsy to my haul, and I knew they would be useful in various projects. Next, I spotted another item from B color – a brand we'd seen at Dollar Tree before – which was also part of the sticker pack. The strawberry-flavored lip gloss with adorable packaging immediately reminded me of childhood treats.

morning shop with me I went to two different Dollar Trees the second Dollar Tree I've already showed that haul in a rainy car haul so I'll link both of those videos down below but this this is what I found from that first store so we got three bags here but I have to tell you guys one of my favorite things about Dollar Tree sometimes is and this is probably rude so I'm sorry if I'm admitting to this but because I'm always shopping alone I hear people on the phone there's always someone having a phone conversation and they are always the freaking funniest to me anyways there is this lady on a call don't know who she was talking to but I think it was like either her daughter or another female two females having this phone conversation so it was just so funny to me but all I hear is this well she shouldn't have given him her address for this very reason and I'm like I'm turning into the aisle and that's what I hear it's hard not to hear that so I'm not trying to be rude and Eve strong but I just I just started laughing I didn't know what else to do because I was I had no idea what the context was about but knowing she said this I was like that's right she shouldn't have any freaking who show you guys my haul um I'm gonna start off strong with the notebooks I can't this is my my notebook Obsession comes from Dollar Tree as a matter of fact it's so huge that I don't remember the last time I actually used a notebook from anywhere else so if you're just watching me now and you're just you know seeing my halls in me for the first time all of my notebooks come from Dollar Tree that I use and I use them for like to-do lists like when I get around the holidays I start having a holiday journal and I'll you know organize gifts and stuff for people and what I'm making for Christmas morning breakfast and and stuff like that anyways I found these they are not jot or anything but it's got Dollar Tree's logo here at the bottom so what brand is this is this Unison is this are we gonna see more from Dollar Tree I don't know so we've got a green spiral bound red black and blue so I'm very excited these look like the jot ones that I use these might be slightly bigger but anyways there's that then you already know I'm obsessed with composition notebooks these are really fun because they have like a kind of a rough but not smooth and rough but it has this like glitter effect you've got that classic binding these colors are so pretty and I love that they're just solid okay then I did pick up the marble book so what you should know if you haven't seen all of my hauls they also have the pencil case box that matches this marble they have it in a pink and then they have it in the purple so that would actually be really cute I know this is for back to school but this could be great for teachers this could also be great for your office or your she shed or your craft room like this is a very beautiful mature print so love that so those are the notebooks then you would have seen me throw these into the cart as you can see I grabbed multiples of them they are just the binder pouches so you get the three rings here to put into a binder love that it's clear so you know removing this little piece this is what you get left with this would also be great for traveling you know you could throw your jewelry in here or like wet bathing suits or something like that so you could definitely see it from that perspective I would definitely cut off these little tags just to make it look nicer but I did get mine for organizing stickers um you probably are starting to hear me talk about organizing my stickers a lot more I'm finally you know back home in Texas hopefully moving into a new space soon and the first thing I want to do is like organize my stickers because they've just been you know and I just love them so anyways then I grabbed this I just really like black again you get the the binder rings here um it would have been cooler if like this wasn't gray and sometimes look sometimes the zippers mess up but like you know um it would have been great if the gray was like a black or um but I like the gray too it's not bad so I just got this from my office I don't know what I'm gonna do with that yet then I picked up more of these I talked about them a few Halls back they're just like the jot marker storage containers that's really cool so markers should essentially fit in here perfectly I'm assuming standard size markers however I'm going to use them for my craft room storing something because you got the clear box so visually you'll be able to see like what's inside I don't know quite yet what I want to put in them maybe stickers maybe a combination of things but I want to buy as many as I can find so so far I think I've bought two or three and then these two so every time I go to Dollar Tree I'm gonna pick up more and more because I would love to like have a row of these you know like in a shelf kind of turn them sideways like this and that would be like really pretty so that's my plan for those you saw immediately what went into this cart let's see where's the other one I found these Zebra high quality uh highlighters yeah they're highlighters and they are you guys they are like the dupes to what's on Amazon but for a freaking fraction of the cost I've never been like Dollar Tree really always surprises me somehow and so we've got the Lilac and the pink you do get the Chisel tip by the way they show you the tips in case that's important to you um and then we've got the yellow and this so we're getting pastel colors that's another big thing I want to point out here um we're not getting like those typical standard bright neon highlighter colors we're getting these like really soft pastels which are very very trendy right now so the fact that this is at Dollar Tree is blowing my ever loving mind you also saw me put this into my cart in the shop with me this is a yogurt cup go watch that video so you can see all the other color options but this is absolutely amazing so you put your yogurt in here you get the spoon look at that a little foldable wait folds out like this okay so fold it out don't pull like I just did you probably would have snapped it off like I did so kind of folds in and then it has its own little spot here and then you know you've got um this top for like your granola and your you know your toppings so I just could not believe this this one also honestly like this would be cute in a craft room as well like it just has that really pretty ice cream kind of look or like a frappe Starbucks drink kind of look so you could also use this as a gift basket fill it up with things for someone and give it away that would be cute or you could use it as a storage container too you know fill it with beads or whatever and that would look adorable so it doesn't just have to be a yogurt cup is my point um okay then I picked up a deck of playing cards most of you know that all of my stuff is sitting in pods no access to it I've been wanting to junk Journal I've been wanting to just play like Solitaire or something but all my stuff is in pods so I was just been really craving wanting to play solitaire so I just picked up you know this pack you get two decks in here a red deck and a blue deck so love that all right then I picked up these birthday balloons because I had to show you guys what is at Dollar Tree right now because it just these are new these are definitely new you can see it is the party section at Dollar Tree and these are the balloons look at this string of fruit like what then we have this one with the ice cream cones the astronaut then we have like a taco that is really cute you know this would be a cute pickup for Cinco de Mayo for next year so or if you're doing like a taco bar kind of party that'd be cute then we've got donuts I'm sorry what and then I just thought the race car formula one is just formula one's a thing right now and I just thought that was so freaking cute a dollar 25. um yeah no words then I picked up some really cute Decor where's the other one foreign I might have left a bag in my car because I grabbed a second one there's another color I think it's like Lilac or something I found it so it's hard to tell but it's like a soft pink but like how cute is this so trendy Love One Dollar Tree does that um then I picked up this I again I pick up things that I like and that I need but I also do a combination where I want to pick up anything that I see is new so that I can tell you guys about it because we all know how Dollar Tree works it's just gonna go in a matter of days but anyways so this one is a quick survive fire starter I don't know I just feel like nowadays this would just be good to have in the car you know what what what was it that happened last year where that Highway shut down for like over a day and there were people with like Teslas and like battery like it gets me thinking about you know situations you never know what's gonna happen so I don't know this looks like something you could put in your car or if you're going camping stuff like that okay then I found these cute little notebooks at Dollar Tree It Is by jot we know they're my favorite it's a little puppet sensory like look how cute that cover is they have multiple color options I think they even have like a tie-dye one I just grabbed the little pink notebook this would be super cute for a gift basket or something so I got that then I found some new hot and cold eye pads look at these prints so you can either make them hot or cold it's going to give you the directions on the back cold obviously freezer the hot oh actually no it says do not freeze yeah so you just store in your refrigerator um for hot you put in the microwave and blah blah blah blah all right so then I also found this these Patches from crafter Square the taco and the pizza super cute um you could even use patches for Junk journaling as well like it doesn't have to just be to like patch on to clothing so I really like to kind of like think outside the box a lot with Dollar Tree because you know uh then I found this in the Teaching Tree section I don't really know yet if I feel like I grab something great or not for myself but I did grab this for myself for like my junk journaling but it's a little solar system mobile but I was thinking maybe like the pieces in here I could use for like a space themed junk Journal but let's see okay so we get some yarn that's great material um okay so it's looking like you'd have to like color but these are great I mean it's like a die cut it's like a die cut so that is really awesome um and then you could color whatever you want which I think is little stickers and then I also grabbed the avocados again I have one of these but I decided I liked it so much I had to go back and get a second pack so and then I also grabbed I saw this I know it's Fourth of July but who is Miss Elizabeth's I've never heard of this brand but it's definitely looking like it probably came from like Hobby Lobby or Michael's and it's just this little sticker pack of Fourth of July so I was like let me get that that's something I don't remember I don't remember the last time we got big brand names in the sticker category we used to we used to get um happy planner at one time like I don't remember but I haven't seen any big name brands there and then the last things are these little lip glosses I just thought they were so cute got a watermelon and a strawberry packaging is absolutely adorable and just kind of reminds me of my childhood in the 90s like this is something we all carried in our purse cute little lip smackers I'm gonna go ahead and open up the strawberry one I just kind of want to like I'm gonna open up both of them actually I just want to see it's by B color that's a brand we've been seeing at Dollar Tree a lot lately um I mean look my
