The Art of Cleaning with Alexa: A Fun and Challenging Experience

As I began my cleaning session, I couldn't help but think about how much fun I was going to have with my trusty sidekick, Alexa. She's always there to lend a helping hand, or in this case, play some upbeat music to get me moving. I decided to try out the trick that Vanessa shared with me in a previous video, using toilet bowl cleaner and bleach to give my bathroom a good cleaning. I sprayed the bleach and waited for it to do its magic, feeling like a pro as I watched the grime and dirt start to disappear.

Meanwhile, my niece was busy playing with her toys and Easter basket, completely unaware of the cleaning frenzy taking place in the background. She's such a sweet girl, always full of energy and curiosity, and I love watching her explore the world around her. As she played, I couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt for leaving her at home when my brother and sister-in-law arrived to pick her up. I had taken her to the park earlier, but unfortunately, it was too far for her to walk, and she got upset when she saw me leave.

After we returned from our outing, we took Loxie, my adorable dog, for a short walk to get some exercise before it was time for her nap. Unfortunately, her knee is still a bit fragile due to the cancer treatment, so I have to be mindful of not pushing her too hard. Thankfully, the prednisone has been working wonders in shrinking the tumors, and she's doing much better. Still, I'm always on high alert when it comes to her health.

As I continued my cleaning session, I noticed that my niece had finished playing and was getting ready to leave. We said our goodbyes, and she gave me a big hug before heading out the door with her parents. It's moments like these that make all the hard work worth it – watching her grow and thrive is truly the best reward.

I took a moment to pick up my shoes and get them put away where they belonged, before moving on to the next task at hand. I had ordered some new lemons online for our kitchen summer makeover, but unfortunately, they didn't live up to their promise. They were too droopy and sad-looking, and I decided it was best to return them.

The rest of my cleaning session flew by in a blur as I tackled the guest bathroom entryway, candle-lit and smelling fresh with pine salt. It's amazing how a little bit of TLC can transform a space into something new and exciting. Before I knew it, the baseboards were done – or so I thought! In reality, I didn't have the time to tackle them, but that's okay.

As I wrapped up my cleaning session, I took a moment to reflect on how much I love having Alexa around. She makes even the most mundane tasks enjoyable, and her music selection is always spot-on. Even if YouTube flags me for playing 80s music in the background, it's worth it – after all, who doesn't love a good dose of nostalgia?

The only remaining task was to mop the kitchen floor, which unfortunately needed it more than any other surface. I didn't have the energy or time to do it on camera, but trust me when I say it needs to be done. With Loxie's antics still fresh in my mind, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief as I finished up and took a deep breath. Cleaning may not be the most glamorous task, but with Alexa by my side, it's definitely made more enjoyable.

As I wrap up this article, I'm reminded that even the smallest tasks can make a big difference in our lives. Whether it's cleaning, cooking, or simply spending time with loved ones, every moment counts. And with Alexa and her endless possibilities, I know I'll always be ready for whatever comes next.

right now in this season it's beaming into you can see my bathroom floor and i can really see loxie's hair which is kind of hard to see on this tile because her hair kind of matches the tile but i had no idea like how bad it actually was so we are going to do some cleaning so i want to vacuum i want to mop and i want to tackle the baseboards as well so so so so while i'm in the closet i want to show you guys that i got in hang on a second i got in the coat that i was telling you guys about when i showed you the leggings from amazon and then i threw up that picture of this girl i follow on instagram and this outfit that she had together and this is the exact same coat as she was wearing and i love this coat i did size up for myself just because i like my coats i guess to fit me a certain way so i did size up but i'm thinking that had i have gone in my normal size that would have actually been pretty good too um so just kind of fyi but i love the cinching of the waist and then the white um tie it's not like white white it's like a cream but so cute love this raincoat and it was like 30 bucks from old navy you want to go blow bubbles and we got the bubbles we got the bubbles out people yeah we can go do that don't drop those please take them yes what about your dog come on i need to shake these out i love the sound of nature the sun's right there well you can't look directly at it i love the sound of birds look at that setup which ones are we doing yellow blue or pink pink okay um let me just put a little ready to go wow you know where i got those from dollar tree okay watch ready they're so pretty can i of course here now glow directly in here good job i popped one you popped one oh yeah go okay i'm gonna blow them you pop them ready you got them yeah wow these are good bubbles for a dollar now that's it that's it put it back in there okay put it this way because or else we can't take it out yeah that way get the lid she's over there you look very beautiful today listen to it what do you think yeah yeah i'm sick i have no idea why i'm out of breath but i'm now cleaning my shower oh this rust is not looking good so i'm gonna do it the way that vanessa does it or at least in one of the videos that i saw so the first step is i sprayed dawn soap i'm gonna get that cleaned up i got it on the walls basically i'm gonna scrub it down spray it down and then once that's clean i'm gonna yeah so once i get the dawn sprayed down then i'm gonna go back in with bleach but i don't think you ever wanna combine dawn and bleach together so just obviously make sure that when you're cleaning with your products you know like what you can and can't mix together so um so once i get the the dawn off i'm gonna spray with bleach let it sit for about 15 minutes and then i'll probably do barkeeper's friend on the floor just like i kind of did last time in a video um the trick that vanessa gave for this was the toilet bowl cleaner which i found at dollar tree and i talked about in a video so i'm gonna try to do that too all right i already washed down the the dawn so i'm gonna go ahead and spray the bleach you alexa play 80s music here's a cutest little set of toys and completely worth a dollar like i just it blows my mind um so anyway she's been playing with all of that her easter basket is over there and we play with a bunch of stuff in there as well and her parents are actually about to be here my brother and my sister-in-law so they're about to pick her up but we did just get back from the park which broke my heart you guys because the park i took her to was just a little too far for loxie to walk to and loxie went to my office because she could see me walk out the front and you guys i could hear loxie's crying howl crying not bark howl crying from down the street and it just blew my mind i was just i felt so bad leaving her like that or just like letting her see me kind of walk away i think bothered her um so then when we came back from the park we took loxie for her walk she just can't go for very long because of her knee even though the prednisone is actually drastically improve tourney to the point where she doesn't even limp anymore she gets up really well but she still you know i'm still kind of nervous about her doing too much with her lungs and everything because the cancer is you know unfortunately everywhere so hopefully the prednisone has been shrinking it and the supplements i've been using has also been shrinking it as well but time will tell so i am gonna continue my cleaning i'm just waiting for her to leave just so that i can go ahead and get the main floors mopped but they definitely have to be done you can't really tell but you can kind of tell like it's just it just you know but i did vacuum it and then i vacuumed i think you guys saw that and then obviously um mopped this floor so you can definitely kind of tell before is a little bit more dull i mean it's only shiny because of the mop but even so when it dries it's still going to look a lot better obviously than it did before so feels good to get that mopped i also mopped this little area as well and what i haven't done is mopped the kitchen floor which honestly needs it the most i don't know if you guys can see the dirt when i do this but yeah it's pretty bad i mean you know that's an active area for
