**iPhone 15 Pro Production and Display Issues**

Ross Young, a display expert who is very tied into all things displays, seems to indicate that the pro model production is ramping up and that the display issues seem to have been resolved. He suggests that some of this stuff might have just gotten overblown and that there won't be any potential impacts to the iPhone 15 lineup and production. This means that if you're planning to upgrade in September, that time frame should just be totally fine. Of course, assuming that Apple actually releases these phones in September like the company usually does.

**iPhone 15 Pro Action Button**

Yesterday, the fourth beta of iOS 17 was released to developers, and it seems to have some new code snippets potentially hinting at the functionality for a rumored action button on the iPhone 15 Pro. The action button, which could be similar to the Apple Watch Ultra's action button but with more phone-focused options, is expected to be a new physical button on the Next Generation Pro iPhone models that replaces the ring silent switch. The code only lists what the button can be mapped to, so we're just going to make an educated guess as to what some of these things would be.

Assuming like the Apple Watch Ultra, you can put in your favorite shortcut that you have in the app and have it tied to this button. Silent mode is self-explanatory, camera, flashlight, Focus modes are also self-explanatory. However, there's also accessibility which we're assuming is going to enable different features like voiceover, Zoom, Assistive Touch, etc. There's also magnifier, which we're guessing is the magnifying glass feature. And then there's translate and voice memos.

The list of possible options for the action button seems to be a lot more than what Apple typically puts in, even with the iPhone. This means that if you're somebody who wants more control over your phone, this could be a great new feature. However, some of these options might not be as useful or exciting to everyone.

**New Color Option for iPhone 15 Pro**

Last year, with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, we got a purple color option. This year, there are rumors hinting at a new darker blue option which should have a little bit of gray tone to it. Some renders were worked out based on all the leaks and rumors, and they look like this: [insert image of render]. We want to know if you're digging or if you're into this color and thinking about getting it.

**Suspected Price Hikes for iPhone 15 Pro**

According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to increase its overall revenue by raising the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Currently, the 14 pro starts at $999 and the 14 pro Max starts at $1,099. If this happens, we're assuming that the 15 pro would start at at least $1,099, and the 15 pro Max would start at $1,199. However, it's unclear whether Apple is actually going to do this or not. We can only hope that they don't and we get a surprise like the Apple Watch Ultra, where we were expecting prices higher than what they ended up being.

If you're somebody who subsidizes your phone by signing a contract, you might be okay with an extra hundred dollars. However, for those of you who buy it outright, an extra hundred dollars is not ideal. But again, this is just speculation, and we can only wait to see how Apple decides to price their new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
