March TBR!

**March TBR: A Month of Fantasy and Adventure**

As we dive into the month of March, I'm excited to share my upcoming reading list with you all. This month is shaping up to be a fantastic one for fantasy readers, with several new releases and re-releases that are sure to capture our imaginations.

**A Throne of Glass-inspired Kingdom**

I've recently picked up "Throne of Glass" by Sarah J. Maas, which seems like an intriguing read. The story follows Celaena Sardothien, a young woman who is summoned back to the kingdom where her mother was exiled, and thrust into a world of politics and magic. With a powerful king at its helm, this kingdom is said to be one of the most powerful in the land, thanks to three trapped gods that have given it its strength. I'm excited to unravel the world of this series and see how Celaena navigates the complexities of court life.

**Re-reading a Beloved Series**

I've also picked up "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", which is part of my ongoing re-read of the series. I loved reading "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" last month, and I'm eager to dive back into the world of Hogwarts and experience it all over again. With this book being a pivotal installment in the series, I know it'll be just as engaging and emotional as the others.

**Reading Lady Midnight with a Community**

In other news, my friend Sasha and I are excited to read "Lady Midnight" by Cassandra Clare together, as part of our Perseus Book Club pick for March. This book is releasing on March 8th, which feels like just around the corner, and we're both looking forward to discussing it with all of you during a live show. We assumed that many of you would be reading this book too, so we thought it'd be a great opportunity to read it together.

**Middle Grade Fantasy Delights**

My next pick is "The School for Good and Evil: A World Without Princes", the second installment in Simon Sazzadini's middle grade series. I enjoyed the first book last month, and I'm currently in a bit of a fantasy reading frenzy, so I thought it'd be great to keep the momentum going with another magical story.

**A Placeholder Book for Now**

Finally, I have a placeholder book lined up that I'm not entirely sure about yet - "Shadowfell" by Juliette Mourillier. While this isn't necessarily one of her most loved or highest-rated series, I've heard good things about it and I'm curious to get a taste of her writing style. It's also a young adult fantasy, which is always up my alley.

**A Month of Reading Ahead**

As you can see, March is shaping up to be an exciting month for me, with several new releases and re-releases that are sure to capture my attention. Whether I dive into the world of "Throne of Glass" or revisit the magical world of Hogwarts, I'm looking forward to seeing where these stories take me.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys it's regan and today i am filming my march tbr oh i'm excited about march so march i think is going to be a fun stressful month for me i mean every month is always going to have a stress levels with college these past couple weeks have been quite a lot to handle but i've handled them so that's what matters but in the month of march i'm actually going to san francisco to go hang out with my dad for a little bit because he lives in california so that's exciting so i'm going to be doing a bit of traveling hopefully i'll vlog it if i do it'll be in my inheritance trilogy by n.k jemisin i'm only reading the first book within this trilogy this month which is a hundred thousand kingdoms i want to say yes and i'm about 60 pages in and i think the first book ends at like 380 something i haven't had a lot of time to read these past couple days but so far this book is like really really interesting i'm still kind of confused about the world but basically what the first novel's about it follows a girl beginning of novel her mother is dead and her grandfather who is rules the kingdom of like the most powerful kingdom calls her back to the kingdom her mother was exiled so she's get called back and she's basically thrown into this race for the crown essentially he names her one of his heirs and now she has to maneuver the court but on top of that there's also these elements of gods there are three trapped gods and that's why this kingdom is so powerful it's really really interesting and i'm excited to like unravel the world that this is but it's very engaging it's super easy to read and i'm really enjoying it so far so i am excited to finish the first book this month i will say i have no idea why i bought this freaking edition this is like the most inconvenient thing to look around it's it is the biggest book i've i own i think i really think it is at least in like fatness the next book i'm definitely getting to this month is harry potter and the half blood prince i read harry potter and the order of the phoenix last month loved it loved it just loved being in the world so i want to continue my reread this month i read the sixth book i'm really really excited and then next month i can read the seventh book just so you know i haven't read the seventh book since it's come out which is insanity so i'm really excited to dive back into these and like basically re-experience it i read this one a couple years ago so it but it's still it'll still be amazing uh this is i think one of my favorite ones this fifth sixth and seventh one they all are kind of interchangeable in terms of like favoritism but regardless i'm pumped this is my favorite cover of the new editions though i think this is just very beautiful very blue the next book i'm going to talk about is the perusetopia book club pick of the month for the month of march and we decided obviously sasha and i are both really excited about this book so we decided to read lady midnight by cassandra clare this is a huge release coming out this month comes out march 8th we were planning on reading it anyway and we assumed a lot of you guys would be reading it too so we thought it'd be really fun to read it together have a live show talk about it we thought it'd be a good time i'm pumped for this one i think this is hopefully going to be my favorite cassandra claire series tied maybe with the infernal devices because the infernal devices were so good and it seems like the main character of the lady midnight series is gonna be really really good and i'm excited about it and it's coming out so soon it's march 3rd right now so five days next book on my list that i would love to get to is the school for good and evil a world without princes this is book two to sh uh simon shanini's middle grade series i read the first one last month really liked it i'm really in a middle grade fantasy like love fest right now i've just been picking up and reading and loving so many different middle grade series so there's just a whimsy that's present in middle grade literature that i really love it's just magical and wonderful and you don't need there's not a lot of other dramas it's just like we all need to love each other and i'm like yeah we do goodness yeah it just makes me really really happy and oh this has a poster inside and the last book i have picked out i'm not sure if i'm gonna read this month it's kind of a placeholder book because i don't really know where i'm gonna feel like going the first ones i showed you i'm pretty set on but i picked up shadowfell by juliette mourillier basically i'm really interested in juliette mourillier as an author and um i have this this is the only book right here i own and i'm interested to get a taste of her writing style i'm very aware this is not her most loved or highest rated series but i've still heard really good things about it i don't really know what this is
