**Head-to-Head Review: AirPods Pro vs Powerbeats Pro**
As I sit here with both the AirPods Pro and the Powerbeats Pro in my ears, I'm excited to share my experience with these two wireless earbuds. The question on everyone's mind is, which one is better? Let's dive in and find out.
**Quality Test**
In my ears right now are the AirPods Pro, and this is what you can expect from them. Testing, testing, one, two, three... I hope they sound pretty good. As a step up from the previous generation, these should deliver a significant improvement. I'll also be including background noise in this test to see how they handle it.
Ready, set, go! Now we have background noise of a stadium, and hopefully it sounds pretty good still. You can just hear me talking, and yeah... testing, testing, one, two, three. Turn the volume up even more, as high as it can go. Yeah, let's go!
**Powerbeats Pro Quality Test**
Alright, so in my ears right now are the Powerbeats Pro, and this is what you can expect from them. Testing, testing, one, two, three... I hope they sound pretty good. They're just in my ears as if I'll be on a phone call or anything like that. So yeah, I'll also be doing crowd effects so you can hear that and we'll start right now.
Alright, now there's the crowd noise in the background, and this is what it sounds like. Testing, testing, one, two, three... Hopefully you can still hear my voice, and yeah...
**Features Comparison**
Now for the features and cool things about these headphones. Both have wireless charging and LED indicators, both have the H1 chip, and both pair automatically when you pull them out of the case. The originals have noise cancelling and transparency mode, but the Powerbeats Pro do not have those features. However, due to the steel around the earbud, it makes its own noise cancelling.
The AirPods Pro have touch functions for playback control - single squeeze on either side pauses music, double squeeze goes to the next song, triple squeeze goes to the previous song, and squeeze and hold changes between transparency and noise cancellation. The Powerbeats Pro also have touch functions - single tap on either side pauses music, double tap goes to the next song, and triple tap goes to the previous song.
**Personal Experience and Problems**
After using both of these earbuds for a few days, I can conclude that they're both really good products. The AirPods Pro definitely have superior features, but the Powerbeats Pro is a close second, may not have transparency and noise cancelling, which might be a deal breaker. They do still seal off your ears, giving you a pretty good noise canceling experience.
Some problems I found with these earbuds are that the AirPods Pro sometimes has a weird glitch in transparency mode when watching videos - hopefully Apple will fix that. The Powerbeats Pro occasionally have connection errors and need to be reconnected two times before they work properly, which is not a big deal, but still something to note.
