Blvckpods V3 vs KP1’s

**Comparing Apple's AirPods Pro (KP1) and AirPods 3rd Generation (Black Pods)**

I'll be comparing two wireless earbuds: the AirPods Pro (KP1) and the AirPods 3rd generation, also known as the Black Pods. Both can be used separately with just the earbuds, alright.

**Testing the W1 Chip**

The W1 chip for the KP1 doesn't seem to be working so we're just comparing the old-fashioned way, all right. Just like that. Now we're going to measure how fast they take to pair, ready get set go! Okay, do Black Pods, okay. There we go, so the W1 chip does work, but just a little unreliable.

**Switching to Android Phone**

Now we're gonna switch to the Android phone and see how they pair. So we're done with the iPhone now. Now for the Android phone, so for this one, first you just open the case and press the button down, there we go, Black Pods version three, all right.

**Pairing Process**

They seem to be paired now. Now for the KP ones, there we go, okay, now we have them both paired. I will say I do prefer the pairing process on the iPhones more than the one on the Android phones, but that's just my personal opinion.

**Testing Distance and Connection**

Okay, so let's see, we're gonna pull up, we're gonna start with the KP ones, all right, after the Black Pods, all right. All right, now I'll be measuring how far both headphones can get from the phone before they start disconnecting or anything like that.

**Testing My Quality**

Now for my quality, all right, so the KP ones are in my ears right now and this is the my quality you can expect from them, testing, testing one two three. They're just in my ears as if I'll be listening to music or anything like that on a phone call.

**Background Noise Comparison**

Okay, now I have background noise in the background, and um, this is my party's respecting them, uh suppressing testing one two three. I hope you can still hear them pretty well; I can't really hear myself speak really well, but uh yeah so good.

**Testing Black Pods My Quality**

So you should be expecting the Black Pods to be doing their my quality right now, but for some reason, I've been trying for the past hour to get these to connect to my phone, they're not out of battery, and I just don't know what's going on. So um, I'm have to go find old Black Pods mic quality and I'm going to insert that in the video.

**Features Comparison**

Now both AirPods Pro (KP1) and AirPods 3rd generation (Black Pods) connect automatically when you pull them out of the case, they both have wireless charging, and they both have little led indicators on the outer parts of the case. Both do have touch functions, for the KP ones, double tap either side to play or pause music, triple tap the right side to go the next song, triple tap the left side to go the previous song.

**Personal Experience**

After using these two side by side for a little while now, this is my personal experience. Personally I prefer the KP ones over the Black Pods mainly because they have better connectivity, they sound better, and they just they function and feel just a little bit better than the Black Pods.

**Conclusion**

The Black Pods are still good but they just they don't seem to match up as much as the KP ones do. And so for those reasons I would pick the KP ones over the Black Pods. They're very similar, so I think you get a better bang for your buck buying the KP ones.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what is up youtube welcome to the custom of interest so today i'll be comparing the kp ones to the black pods version three all right so i'll be using the ca scoring method 2.0 to compare these headphones all right getting right into the packaging of the two headphones they both come in two relatively small boxes but they are very different first of all the black pods come in a clear plastic casing it looks pretty cool the kp1s come in a little white box that looks similar to the ones the original apple airpods there is an image of the headphones on the front of the case with their name and the nokia's logo on the top corners on the front the black pods have their name and a little viewing window in the middle of the box where you get a look at the black paws themselves below that has the names of the headphones and some specs to the right and to the left of that for the sides of the box the kp ones only have their names the black pods have a bunch of random specs on both sides for the back of the kp ones they have an image of the headphones for the black pods there isn't anything all right opening the two the black pods you get the headphones right away for the kp ones there's a little instruction guide and below that there are the headphones themselves now for the rest of the packaging is where the black pods really excel they come with a wireless charger that has the perfect shape of the black pots also being matte black to match below that there are tons of accessories first there's ear hooks two types and a little combiner rope thing a watch mount and there's manuals and warranty cards there's also two chargers one for the headphones and the other for the wireless charger all black to match for the ones there's a charger below that all right now for the design of the headphones they both have the same general design with the lid taking up one fourth of the case button on the back and led in the front one is covered completely in a black matte texture after holding the two side by side for a while this is what i noticed the kp1s feel much heavier and just higher quality when you weigh them side by side you can see the difference in the weight the kp1s weigh around 45 grams or the black pods weigh 33 grams they both have the same charging method on the bottom the lids for the two are pretty much the same but i'd say the kp ones just have like a meteor snap to them the black pods are fully covered in a matte black texture that i really like feels really good in the hand now for the design of the headphones they both have the same general design just one of them is covered in a matte black texture they do both have ear sensors the black pods have a silver sensor dot where the kp ones are black the side indicator on the black pods is much cleaner than the ones on the kv-1 other than those things they're pretty much the same now for the price of the headphones the kp ones come in at 72 dollars but with my discount code you can get them for around 65 now for the black pods you can get them for around 60 us dollars not too much of a difference in price five dollars now for the audio quality alright so after listening to them this is my conclusion the kp1 sound better but they both do sound good the kp ones just have better bass and the sound is just more full the black pods don't sound as good because they just don't seem as full as the kp ones i think it's mainly just because they don't have quite as much bass and so they just they don't seem to fill your ear as much as the kp ones now for the battery life of the headphones the kp1s can get around 3.5 to 4 hours of audio playback with an extra 24 hours with the case the black pods can get around three hours of audio playback with an extra 20 hours with the case now for the connectivity all right so now i'll be showing the pairing process between the two headphones and also i've seen a lot of your guys comments and you guys asked me to do stuff for android phones too and so here i am and all right so we're gonna start with the iphone right here and we're gonna do how they pair to each other so these are the kp ones right here so you open the case press connect press the button on the back and then they pair okay so those are the kp ones they say air pods they do not have any latency and they both can be used separately with just the earbuds alright now for the black pods version three the w1 chip for the kp1 doesn't seem to be working so we're just comparing the old-fashioned way all right just like that now we're going to measure how fast they take to pair ready get set go okay do black pots okay there we go so the w1 chip does work just a little unreliable now we're gonna switch to the android phone we're gonna see how they pair so we're done with the iphone now now for the android phone so for this one first you just open the case and press the button down there we go black pods version this is the my quality you can expect from them so testing testing one two three they're just in my ears like on normally like on a phone call or anything like that just like how they supposed to go in your ears and i will also be including background noise to compare them with so we'll start that right now okay now i have background noise in the background and um this is my party's respecting have to go find old black pods mic quality and i'm going to insert that in the video and yeah i apologize i don't have the the stadium effect with all the background noise but you're gonna have to just live through that and yeah i take the blame for that one actually black pods takes the blame for that one all right so in my ears right now is the black pod version three and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three uh they're just in my ears as if i'll be like listen to music or anything like that on a phone call you name it it's probably how it's gonna be and yeah now for the features and cool things about the headphones they both connect automatically when you pull them out of the case they both have wireless charging they both have little led indicators on the outer parts of the case both do have touch functions for the kp ones they are double tap either side to play or pause the music triple tap the right side to go the next song triple tap the left side to go the previous song tap and hold on either side until siri shows up now for the black pods there are double tap either side to play or pause music triple tap the right side to go the next song triple tap the left side to go the previous song and tap and hold to summon siri now for my personal experience alright so after using these two side by side for a little while now this is my personal experience so personally i prefer the kp ones over the black pods mainly because they have better connectivity they sound better and they just they function and feel just a little bit
