**A Step Up from the Previous Generation**

The new earbuds have stepped up from the previous generation and I will also be including the background noise to see how they do with that ready, get set go! All right now we have background noise of a stadium and hopefully it sounds pretty good. Still and you can just hear me talking and uh yeah so testing testing one two three turn the volume up even more as high as it can go and uh yeah let's go!

**Features and Cool Things**

Now, for the features and cool things, all right now let's go through the features and cool things we got the AirPods Pro on the left and the Eclipse T5S McLaren earbuds on the right. So they both do have LED indicators, they both have wireless charging, they both have water resistance, I would say that the Clips ones are a little bit better. The AirPods Pro have Hey Siri support where the Clips do not. The AirPods Pro have active noise cancellation where the Eclipse ones do not. They both do have passive noise cancellation with the seals that the ear tips make. They both have active ambient mode, although the AirPods Pros is far better. Neither of them have passive ambient mode. They both have iOS software support, and the Eclipse T5S have Android software support literally the same app that is on iOS is on Android. They also have a full equalizer and a satin equalizer. The AirPods Pro have ear sensors where the Eclipse ones do not. They both have automatic pairing, you can track the AirPods Pro you can't track the Clips T5S. You can ring them for the AirPods Pros or you can't do that for the T5S.

**Technical Details**

We don't know the driver's side and the amount of speakers in the AirPods Pro is three, and we don't know for the Eclipse ones. All sorts of little settings in the Bluetooth menu so you can change the name, switch between noise cancellation transparency, adjust those ear tip fit test automatic ear detection connect to this iPhone automatically spatula audio still haven't even tried that out which is kind of embarrassing to me microphone automatic optimized battery charging helps the aging of the battery and you got the serial information. Now these McLaren ones luckily they do come with their own software support aka the app, and we'll see what we got going here.

**Software Support**

All right so the app looks like I've already paired them up into the app okay we got them right here here we got a little equalizer and you also do get transparency mode which is not very good but you can adjust between all these things I would recommend keeping it on high even high is kind of dull but we got settings also equalizer transparency updates all this good stuff. You can change the name pretty much whatever you want go here other little things you got the battery you just got a cool picture of the headphones pretty simple but pretty effective.

**Personal Opinion**

Now for my personal opinion, all right so I compared these two for the last week, I'd say and this is my conclusion personally, I would pick the AirPods Pro in a heartbeat over these earbuds over these Clips McLaren earbuds just because my lifestyle is I just put my earbuds in my pocket pull them out listen to them have the convenience of good noise cancellation good good transparency and reliable audio and they pair really well to my phone. Good battery, small case we got the McLaren ones and first of all they cost the same amount as the AirPods Pro but they have this massive case which I mean depends on your style but personally this just wouldn't really go in my pocket very well it's just huge bulky thing.

**Limitations**

But it is very very water resistant which for those that are near like maybe the beach or just like a lake or something this could be ideal for you but for my personalized lifestyle it's not and then you just have the subpar features that just don't seem to do it for me. I do love the experience the McLaren experience with the carbon fiber and the packaging was beautiful, but the earbuds themselves they just don't seem to do it for me.

compete we'll find out all right getting right into the packaging of the two all right so we got both of the packages right here we got the we got the mclaren clips package very nice looking we got all these things in the box on the side all sorts of stuff on the back we've got specs looking very nice we've got the packaging for the airpods pro with their super simple design we've got the air pods pro name on the top with the apple logos on the side earbuds on the back all right let's open the two got a little tape on the bottom for the mclaren eclipse headphones take that off and you remove the bottom just like that got the nice orange packaging welcome to speed of sound very nice all right got the airpods pro open that up designed by apple in california removing that we get a uh let's see cool looking booklet not sure what it says very cool i think it just talks about the earbuds and we get a official membership card that is kind of sweet actually okay we get stickers right here very cool and then we get a little let's see what is this this is a little manual for the earbuds and you get the foam then you get the headphones themselves that was pretty cool all right the airpods pro just get a little insert little apple documents here you get the headphones themselves removing those we're gonna remove the mclaren ones right there got those pretty sweet looking case open that up put the earbuds right in there where they belong shut it very cool for the airpods pro and the rest of the case you get ear tips and a usb c to lighting charging cable all right for the mclaren ones pull this out appears we got extra ear tips not entirely sure yeah it just seems we've got extra ear tips going right here okay that's pretty sweet then you get these are the ear hooks for the headphones it appears these are exchangeable ones very cool very high quality packaging then we got a braided charging cable it appears whoa that is that is very high quality i'm not gonna lie that is sweet usb-c to usb-c very nice and we even get a usb a to usb-c adapter right there nice we got safety and compliance warranty information for the warranty card this is our warranty card also in different languages now the bottom we have a i believe this is a wireless charger let's pull it oh very nice whoa got a nice texture on the top of this wireless charger with the rubber nubs right here that is sweet not gonna lie this is probably some of the coolest packaging i've ever seen for wireless earbuds definitely recommend now for the design of the case looking at the two side by side we have two very different designs the airpods have their sleek small case that has nice rounded corners where you got the t5s with more of a rugged and larger design all right i assume by now that most you know the design of the airpods pro pretty well small white case lid that takes up one third of the case led on the front button on the back overall good design of the case but most likely you are not familiar with the mclaren t5s alright let me introduce you so they come in a pretty large case one i definitely wouldn't really put in my pocket but they have a cable that you can attach easily to your pants they are made of clear plastic on the outside with orange plastic at the seams the mclaren orange on the front and the back you can see carbon fiber somewhere in these which is really cool because i'm kind of obsessed with carbon fiber but strictly real carbon fiber like look at my phone i made real carbon fiber the back glass got broken and i put real carbon fiber on the back just because i love it so much on these i'm not sure if the carbon fiber is real or not it says clips on the front and next to that it says mclaren also you have these nice looking metal pieces at the hinge they look nice and they seem to have a blue tint to open the case there's a latch on the side you have to pop the bottom part of it then then unlatch it at the top to open it then you have access to the earbuds themselves you also get access to the usb-c charging port there are also three leds on the inside of the case to indicate charging and such there's also a rubber ring around the edge that makes this seam this case has some type of water resistance another thing that is definitely different but cool on these is they have this little insert on the top of the case that is removable there are little holes all around this insert and inside of them are little beets and i believe that they are like silica gel like the stuff that comes in like beef jerky that absorb extra moisture this makes me think that this case is designed to be around water the whole case is sealed and there's silica gel inside of the case overall i like both cases in different ways the airpods pro are sleek in small design where i like these for their crazy and cool design that seems to be highly water resistant now for the design of the earbuds looking at the two side by side you have two very different designs the airpods pro with their sleek stem design where we have the t5s with their more in-ear and rugged seaming design all right let's get into the nitty gritty details you have the airpods pro they have rubber ear tips that are exchangeable they have two ear sensors on them one on the middle along with a supporting speaker and one on the bottom of the earpod you also get a speaker vent on the outside with the microphones then you get a little stem with a squeeze pad on the side with haptic feedback then at the bottom you have two metal strips that are contact points in those metal strips there's a little cut out i believe for another microphone all right now for the t5s the t5s have an exchangeable ear tip and a exchangeable ear hook the ear tip has a custom design to remove the ear tip the airpods have a similar custom one but the one on the t5s looks a lot smaller the ear tip itself is really small there are two contact points for charging on the inside of the earbud having an ear hook like this is a great feature but there's one major flaw the earhook doesn't stay in place on the back side the front is mostly anchored down by the earbud stem part but the back just moves freely which is annoying to get the right fit they have a button on the outside with either the clips name or the mclaren logo there's also a led on the outside just below the button there are two holes on the button that could be microphone holes and there's also another one that seems to be covered by that problematic ear tip now for the price of the two the airpods broke go for around 250 us dollars and the mclaren t5s go for around 250 usd also all links will be in the description now for the audio quality of the two all right so after listing the two side by side for the last little while this is my conclusion they both sound really really good like we're talking these are the high spec of audio quality both these they sound very very similar and personally i honestly would have taken the clips mclaren earbuds over the airpods pro on just audio quality but the reason why i would pick the airpods pro over like listening things is just because they have better noise cancellation and better ambient mode which also fall in this area of audio quality but the overall audio quality i think the clips ones sound just a little bit better they just seem to have a little bit punchier bass and the vocals are a little bit more pronounced and i really like them but these ones do not have active noise cancellation where these do which and they are really good at that and then they have the ambient mode which their ambient mode is it's subpar i would say it just sounds it's just not very loud i don't know how to explain it like the microphones like they just seem like they're blocked or something now for the battery life the airpods can get around 5 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours the t5s can get 8 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case now for the connectivity of the two all right now for the pairing process between the two alright so i got the airpods pro right here open the case there you go press connect hold the button down and repair it good work good work then you got the clips mclaren ones open that up pull out the earbuds go to the bottom here click them right there and you should hear paired in the earbuds very very cool now for the mic quality in my ears right now are the clips t5 ii mclaren wireless earbuds and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three this is
