iOS 11.1 vs iOS 11.0.3 Battery TEST _ This Might Surprise You

Testing the Battery Performance of iOS 11.0 to iOS 11.3: A Comparative Analysis

Hey guys, today we share with you guys the results of our battery performance test for iOS 11.0 to iOS 11.3 on various iPhone models. We've been testing these updates for a while now, and we're excited to finally share our findings with you.

One thing that's worth noting is that Apple hasn't released iMessages with iCloud yet, which means this feature is still in the experimental stages. However, we're eager to see how it performs once it becomes available. In the meantime, we're focusing on testing the battery performance of each update.

To perform our tests, we've used identical cases for all devices, ensuring that the brightness and settings are the same. We've also excluded power mode from our tests, as some users might be using it to conserve battery life. By doing so, we can get a more accurate picture of how each update affects the battery performance.

Let's take a look at the results:

Our testing showed that iPhone 6 Plus died after 4 hours and 45 minutes on iOS 7.0.3, while iPhone 7 Plus died after 4 hours and 5 minutes. In contrast, the iPhone 8 Plus lasted for 4 hours and 40 minutes. These results are impressive, considering that each device has its unique battery capacity.

However, it's essential to note that these tests only provide a general idea of how much battery life we can expect from each update. In reality, actual performance may vary depending on various factors, such as usage patterns, environmental conditions, and more. For instance, if you're using your iPhone for heavy gaming or video streaming, you might not get the same battery life as someone who only uses it for basic tasks.

In our testing, we found that each update improved the battery performance of all devices. Specifically, we observed an extra 30-40 minutes of battery life on average when comparing iOS 11.0 to iOS 11.3. This is a significant improvement, considering that earlier updates were struggling with battery life issues.

The most surprising result came from iPhone 8 Plus, which lasted for 8 hours and 55 minutes on iOS 12.1. This is an astonishing performance, especially when compared to its predecessors. We ran the test twice to confirm our results, and both times, we got the same outcome.

As you can see, each update has brought significant improvements to the battery performance of all devices. However, it's essential to keep in mind that these tests only cover a limited range of usage scenarios, so your actual experience might vary.

We're excited to continue testing new updates and sharing our findings with you guys. In fact, we've already started working on new tests for upcoming iOS versions. We'll be covering more devices, including the iPhone SE, as well as exploring other features like peer-to-peer payment. Stay tuned for more updates, and don't forget to let us know if you have any questions or concerns about our testing process.

That's all for now, folks! Thanks for joining me on this journey through the world of iOS battery performance. If you liked what you saw, please hit that like button and subscribe to our channel for more tech-related content.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys today we share with you guys the banner results test of iOS 11.0 point 3 versus iOS eleven point one this week Apple is said to be releasing this offered to the general public but Apple has yet to enable the iMessages with an iCloud which is a feature that's set to be making its debut with this software so we could see maybe a minor tweak before its official launch but we don't have the iMessage is in iCloud or the peer-to-peer payment yet on these devices but anyway the purpose of this video is to test the battery as we know iOS 11.0 all the way to the current 11.0 point 3 all iphones have been struggling with battery performance have been testing these performance beta after beta release after release and now I think iOS 11.1 a beta 4 or gold master which is pretty much gonna be the official release I wanted to test it and put it to the test to see how it is performing so let's go and take a look at the first time lapse that I have for you guys now from left to right we have iPhone 6 plus 7 plus 1/8 plus ok so on the left the iPhone 6 plus died at 4 hours in 45 minutes that's gonna be iOS 7.0.3 also the iPhone 7 plus died a little earlier at 4 hours in 5 minutes which is kind of crazy in the iPhone 8 plus at 4 hours in 40 minutes now I want you guys to keep in mind these tests or perform identical case so the brightness is the same everything is identical even when I update the devices to test it next version of the software of course the brightness is going to be the same all the settings nothing is changed at all now one thing I want to do clarify is that these tests just give us a general information on how much the battery could last us on a day-to-day basis of course your device won't have the display on at all times as I do for these tests in order to get the Clarkes application running to get the stopwatch go and so you're not gonna have to display on at all times and also some of you guys also use a little power mode in some instances which I don't use in these tests I just want to get the raw power of the battery with device display on to see how long it would last and the tasks are the same on all devices so pretty much if you get let's say eight hours everyday out of your iPhone and on 11.1 for this test I tell you you know this device gave us an extra thirty to forty minutes of extra on screen time then that means when you update most likely you will see anywhere from a half hour to maybe 45 minutes of extra on screen time it doesn't mean that it's gonna last for hours as you saw on this video because the display is on as I mentioned the brightness is up and you know it's currently running so just keep that in mind so here's the second time-lapse again from left to right iPhone 6 + 7 + + 8 + now the first device to die on 11.1 was the iPhone 7 + with 6 hours and 50 minutes of on-screen time which beats the previous our time by 2 hours approximately 2 hours and a half approximately that you can get out of 11 point 2 1 vs. previous versions on the iPhone 6 + 7 hours and 40 minutes which also beats the previous by good 3 hours or so so you're going to probably get a good to 1/2 to 3 hours of extra on-screen time when you update tireless 11.1 and the iPhone 8 + was the most surprising to me it died at eight hours in 55 minutes that's three hours + on this device when you update 12.1 and I thought these results were rather drastic so I ran them twice and twice I got the same results on iOS 11.1 the gold master copy or beta for definitely definitely improves the battery on all of these devices that you just saw now I'm gonna be adding more devices in the future I know you guys want to see the iPhone se as well so I'm just kind of working out to get some more devices here in the house cuz I have other iPhones but they're running different software's which I can't update for several reasons but I'm gonna go ahead and grab a few other devices here hopefully in the next couple of days to keep adding some of these devices and provide some more of this information for you guys I hope you guys enjoy the video and found this information helpful it's been iDevice helped and I'll see you real soon peacehey guys today we share with you guys the banner results test of iOS 11.0 point 3 versus iOS eleven point one this week Apple is said to be
