For Greg, being with family is the most important thing during holidays like Thanksgiving. He enjoys spending time with loved ones, but has had to make some adjustments due to his health struggles. "It's basically Thanksgiving part two that's just something we do when we do get together," he says. This year, Greg decided to add a festive touch to his holiday celebration by decorating his home with Christmas lights.

Greg's favorite food during the holidays is fudge, which comes in many different types of chocolate candies. He has had to be more mindful of his diet due to his health issues, but still enjoys indulging in sweet treats. three years or whatever it's going to take um but i'm very proud to have a model 3 in my garage and it is it is my car for the next two and a half years and i'm so proud so honored to have that as my primary vehicle i love that car so much my mazda was good but it was time to move on you know i mean that mazda 3 certainly well for the last what 10 plus years but man my model 3 nothing even ever right i mean think about it like technology our phones for example change dramatically within like two years now but man that 2006 mac pro in a way kickstarted my youtube career like it it allowed me to create things better and faster than ever um and it was a huge stepping stone in getting to where i am today so man i am grateful for that mom dad if you're watching thank you so much i know it's not about the cost of gifts but yeah as you guys could imagine a 2006 mac pro in addition to i believe was it a 23-inch apple cinema display that ain't cheap that ain't cheap but man am i cookies and desserts and all that stuff i'm trying to cut back and slim down on that stuff but obviously being the holidays i'm going to treat myself to a bunch of holiday desserts and whatever in the next week or two in terms of like actual christmas meal my mom's homemade mashed potatoes seriously nobody even comes close my mom makes the best homemade mashed potatoes they're so whippy whippy is not the right word but you guys know what i mean like the very soft consistent mashed potatoes and my mom's gravy my mom makes some of the best gravy i say this every year i'll say it again my mom's gravy is kind of like a soup you know it's kind of like a christmas soup in a way it's not good for you definitely not good for you it's filled with butter and fat but isn't that what the holidays are all about treating yourself and being with those you love and just shoving food in into your mouth of course it is because in many people's eyes january is a new start you know january i definitely will be cutting back once again i've lost about 20 pounds in the last year now granted i owe some of that to covet i mean i i lost like five pounds from uh covent and i've actually you know kept it off i weighed myself today and i'm still below uh 170. i don't i don't mind sharing that that's i'm like 168 right now i was about like 195 196 when i started losing weight um i would like to get down to 160 maybe like a healthy 160. but yeah those are some of my favorite holiday foods oh and of course real quick sorry gotta mention my mom's rice my mom makes some of the best i think it's a hungarian rice recipe that's quite literally been passed down through family traditions uh generations i should say i believe it was my grandma my dad's mom you guys will never see her unfortunately i haven't had grandparents in years it is what it is i'm used to it by now um but uh yeah am i am i grateful for the fact that my mom is an amazing incredible skilled cook seriously guys my mom pulls to lose a certain amount of weight well it is a lifestyle change um they want you to you know put sugar quit uh fatty foods caffeine all that stuff and i have quit soda i used to be a 12-pack of soda a day person i quit soda completely um i have been eating a lot of protein chicken eggs salmon is a big one vegetables a lot of vegetables just been changing my whole eating habits portioning my eating uh meal prepping and checking my blood sugar i am diabetic and my diabetes is very under control my a1c levels have actually gone down which is good um and i am losing weight um continue losing weight uh until i believe december 22nd is my next appointment hopefully i will lose then the next the last 10 pounds i need to lose so everyone please send out your vibes your positive vibes for me everyone that's been supporting me so far thank you so much couldn't have done it without my friends and family um i'm looking forward to 2022 that's when i will be having my weight loss surgery always like a ham i was like eating ham um your occasional you know maybe like apple pie um i mean this is more of a candy but i do like i do like candy canes i do like reese's trees i think reese's two what is a favorite holiday memory that always comes to mind one thing that instantly comes to mind is my mac pro i believe i got that for christmas 2007. i want to say yeah it was a 2006 model i got it in 2007 and man am i grateful now granted i don't use it anymore obviously because it's 20 21 a lot has changed in the last what i don't know how many years it's been i mean it's been a while it's been a while guys and technology changes fast i mean faster now than ever right i mean think about it like technology our phones for example change dramatically within like two years now but man that 2006 mac pro in a way kickstarted my youtube career like it it allowed me to create things better and faster than ever um and it was a huge stepping stone in getting to where i am today so man i am grateful for that mom dad if you're watching thank you so much i know it's not about the cost of gifts but yeah as you guys could imagine a 2006 mac pro in addition to i believe was it a 23-inch apple cinema display that ain't cheap that ain't cheap but man am i grateful guys thank you so much mom and dad i love you i love you so much okay question number three what are some of your favorite holiday foods the first thing that comes to mind you know besides cookies and desserts and all that stuff i'm trying to cut back and slim down on that stuff but obviously being the holidays i'm going to treat myself to a bunch of holiday desserts and whatever in the next week or two in terms of like actual christmas meal my mom's homemade mashed potatoes seriously nobody even comes close my mom makes the best homemade mashed potatoes they're so whippy whippy is not the right word but you guys know what i mean like the very soft consistent mashed potatoes and my mom's gravy my mom makes some of the best gravy i say this every year i'll say it again my mom's gravy is kind of like a soup you know it's kind of like a christmas soup in a way it's not good for you definitely not good for you it's filled with butter and fat but isn't that what the holidays are all about treating yourself and being with those you love and just shoving food in into your mouth of course it is because in many people's eyes january is a new start you know january i definitely will be cutting back once again i've lost about 20 pounds in the last year now granted i owe some of that to covet i mean i i lost like five pounds from uh covent and i've actually you know kept it off i weighed myself today and i'm still below uh 170. i don't i don't mind sharing that that's i'm like 168 right now i was about like 195 196 when i started losing weight um i would like to get down to 160 maybe like a healthy 160. but yeah those are some of my favorite holiday foods oh and of course real quick sorry gotta mention my mom's rice my mom makes some of the best i think it's a hungarian rice recipe that's quite literally been passed down through family traditions uh generations i should say i believe it was my grandma my dad's mom you guys will never see her unfortunately i haven't had grandparents in years it is what it is i'm used to it by now um but uh yeah am i am i grateful for the fact that my mom is an amazing incredible skilled cook seriously guys my mom pulls off things that i can never pull off that's why i door dash so much i'm not a big cooker cooker that's a that's a that's a good word grandpa used to be singing and spreading holiday cheer and joking and it was just something that i really looked forward to every year uh and i'm gonna hold that memory near and dear to my heart so yeah that's that and very briefly a goal that i have for the next year definitely my finances 100 i definitely want to do much more investing so we'll see how that goes with god's help so anyway this everyone's had a healthy and safe 2021 it's almost to a close um i want to talk about uh a big accomplishment that i've made so far this year um in the past 12 months is my lifestyle change um i have been in the process of getting my weight loss surgery and uh have to lose a certain amount of weight well it is a lifestyle change um they want you to you know put sugar quit uh fatty foods caffeine all that stuff and i have quit soda i used to be a 12-pack of soda a day person i quit soda completely um i have been eating a lot of protein chicken eggs salmon is a big one vegetables a lot of vegetables just been changing my whole eating habits portioning my eating uh meal prepping and checking my blood sugar i am diabetic and my diabetes is very under control my a1c levels have actually gone down which is good um and i am losing weight um continue losing weight uh until i believe december 22nd is my next appointment hopefully i will lose then the next the last 10 pounds i need to lose so everyone please send out your vibes your positive vibes for me everyone that's been supporting me so far thank you so much couldn't have done it without my friends and family um i'm looking forward to 2022 that's when i will be having my weight loss surgery hopefully january or february i hope everyone has a healthy and safe 2022 and hopefully you have gotten uh something big uh done you thing you are proud to have accomplished in the past 12 months i would say losing weight um so ever since i had gotten out of high school over the past like about four or five years i've kind of gotten a little overweight for my for my size um and i was able to lose about 30 pounds so that was um really cool to be able to do uh secondly was is a favorite holiday memory that always comes to mind um i would say probably um i would say just always always going in um each year going to a tree farm and getting a tree and then going to um broner's which is a christmas store um near me and just always going there with family and being around with family and stuff like that i would say that's a that's a memory that always just comes around every year um and we do that every year as well um what are some of your favorite holiday foods um i always like i always like a ham i was like eating ham um your occasional you know maybe like apple pie um i mean this is more of a candy but i do like i do like candy canes i do like reese's trees i think reese's trees taste the best literally out of all the reese's um with that being said i want to take up too much time hope again everybody one for us but the thing that i've enjoyed as part of our more recent traditions is that instead we're instead of doing a thing like ham or turkey or whatever for for our christmas dinner we've instead been moving to things just like little appetizers i remember in one of our recent years we just did like a little baked potato bar and hey i actually quite enjoyed that not quite the same as your usual ham turkey or whatever else but you know what hey we've made it work and with that i hope you and everyone else out there have a very merry christmas happy hanukkah or whatever else you again for christmas i know some people like goose or duck i've had duck on uh on christmas before um and it's good but usually it's turkey stuffing um cranberry sauce and yeah stuff like that rolls and stuff and i love fruitcake i don't know why everybody hates fruitcake so much i don't get it i think for greg is good obviously uh fudge is the thing um a lot of chocolate candies all kinds of get now you guys probably know i have to watch all that nowadays but you know before i had to watch all that i could just eat whatever i wanted um but yeah just it's basically thanksgiving part two that's just something we do when we do get together um so yeah it is what it is also uh i made it i made it a little christmas themed for you oh i'm going over i'm going over time i'm sorry david hold on let
