**Pixel Buds vs AirPods Pro: A Detailed Comparison**
In this review, we will compare two popular earbuds: the Pixel Buds and the AirPods Pro. Both devices have a similar design, with the Pixel Buds having a shiny gray plastic interior that is different from their predecessors. They both feature exchangeable ear tips, with the AirPods Pro having proprietary ear tips that come off slightly differently.
**Fit Test**
The fit test is an important aspect of any earbuds review. We started by putting the AirPods Pro in our ears, and they fit quite well. However, when we tried to put the Pixel Buds in our ears, they didn't fit very well. In fact, it's been a problem with the other Pixel Buds too.
**Shake Test**
Next, we performed the shake test on both devices. Unfortunately, the Pixel Buds flew right out of our ears, despite trying different ear tips. On the other hand, the AirPods Pro stayed put and didn't come out even when shaken.
**Connectivity**
We also compared the connectivity features of both devices. On Android (using a OnePlus 7 Pro), we easily paired the Pixel Buds with our phone. The process was seamless, and we were able to control playback and view charging status with ease. On iPhone, pairing with the AirPods Pro was just as easy, with a similar pairing screen.
**Personal Opinion**
After using both devices for a while, we concluded that they are both great pairs of earbuds. However, our personal preference is towards the Pixel Buds Series A, which offer excellent value for money. Despite not fitting well in our ears, the AirPods Pro are still a better option with features like active noise cancellation and ambient mode.
**Conclusion**
In conclusion, while both devices have their strengths and weaknesses, we would recommend the Pixel Buds Series A to anyone looking for an affordable and feature-rich earbuds experience. However, if you're willing to spend more money on advanced features like noise cancellation and ambient mode, then the AirPods Pro might be a better choice.
**Disclaimer**
This review is not intended to summarize or compare the two devices in a way that could be misleading or inaccurate. Our goal was simply to provide a detailed comparison of both earbuds based on our experience with them.
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what is up youtube welcome to the customer interest alright so today i'll be comparing the airpods pro to the pixel buds a series all right so we got the two boxes side by side we have the airpods pro and their infamous box and we got the pixel buds a series got image of the headphones on the case for both got the google logo and we got their name on the front they have a little tab on the top here and the airpods pro just says airpods pro it says google and apple on the sides we got an image of the headphones in the case on the side right here got an apple logo google logo information on the bottom and we got some information for the pixel buds on the back and this is the airpods pro an image of the headphones on the case all right let's get them open got the airpods pro their infamous box designed by apple in california your little inserts got the headphones as for the pixel buds hold tab right here oh right into the pixel buds let's make sure i don't have anything i don't think okay right into the pixel buds themselves very nice pull off the plastic these remind me very much of the normal pixel buds all right let's see what else we got in the box here a little insert and then we got a usbc to usb type a charging cable and we have a little startup guide and such and i believe in here are the ear tips yes it appears we have four ear tips in there very nice as for the airpods pro headphones got two pairs of extra ear tips and a usbc two lightning charging cable all right let's get to the price of the two the airpods pro go for around 250 us dollars but i have seen them for as low as 200 so be sure to check the description i have active links there you can check up the fluctuating price as for the pixelbuds series a they go for around 100 usd and they come in two colors and i have the olive white color all right let's get into the audio quality of the two after listing the two side by side for the last week or so this is my conclusion they both sound really really good the airpods are more of like a balanced pair of earbuds to me they sound really really good and balanced crisp and clear and overall a good listening experience nothing stands out too much just kind of very good overall these pixel buds on the other hand they sound really really good to me actually they have a little bit more bass and they sound very very good and overall they are pretty comparable when it comes to audio quality and i would take either one the airpods pro do have active noise cancellation and ambi mode which is two very very nice features where the pixel buds do not have this they do kind of struggle to block out noise i don't know why the ear tips kind of fit weird in my ear personally maybe it's just because of that but they do also have they have adaptive volume which is kind of cool but like not as cool as some of the other features you know all right now for the my quality of the two all right so in my ears right now are the airpods pro and this my quality can expect from them testing testing one two three hopefully you can hear my voice loud and clear we're just gonna tap the side of the earbud to make sure it's coming from there all right let's begin the stadium crowd effect noise all right so now we have the stadium contact noise in the background pro so in my ears right now are the pixel buds a series this is my quality can expect from them testing testing one two three hopefully you can hear my voice loud and clear i'm just like talking as if i'd be like on a phone call or anything like that also be including the stadium crowd effect noise on in the background ready gets go all right so now we have the stadium proud effect noise in the background and this is my quality effect from them testing testing one two three don't right now but yes this is how it performs in a setting like that all right all right let's talk about the battery life of the two the airpods pro can get five hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case the pixel bud series a can get five hours of audio playback with an additional 19 hours with the case totaling 24 hours the pixel buds series a also have quick charge where you can charge them for 15 minutes and you will get three hours of audio playback the airpods pro also do have quick charge similar to this that you can get five minutes of charging equals one hour of battery life which if you do them after the two they are the same all right now for the features the earpods pro have wireless charging where the pixel buds do not they both do have ear sensors on them so when you pull them out of your ears they will pause the music automatically they both have touch functions the airpods having theirs on a squeeze pad on the side of their stem where the pixel buds have a touch pad on their side it actually works really really well it only responds when you touch it with your finger and it does a really good job at not responding to accidental touches they both do pair automatically when you pull them out of the case they both have led indicators on the front of their cases the one on the pixel buds being much more diffused than the airpods all right let's talk about the features on the phone software all right we're gonna pair them up and we're gonna see what type of features we get on this on android here okay so we have the battery indication right here google assistant that's nice you can ping both sides google assistant touch controls very nice very nice stop it um sound so you oh you have a you have a nice eq an adaptive sound i've heard about this it like adapts the volume based on your environment which is pretty cool pretty cool more settings that is about it i would prefer an ambient mode and a anc those are that's just my preference because it's really nice to have but that is pretty cool for what you get with the pixel bud series a it's almost i want to say pretty much identical to the pixel buds i'll have to do a comparison of those you also do get your own little menu here noise cancellation transparency touch controls ear to fit test automatic ear detection spatial audio microphone and pretty much very very cool so that's the pairing and the connectivity for both all right now for the design of the case looking at the two side by side they have two pretty different designs they're both white but they are different kinds of white the airpods are gloss white where the pixel buds are a softer y with a matte surface on the case the case actually has a very cool texture that feels very high quality the case of the pixel buds reminds me of like an egg not only the case shape but also the texture on the case very cool it's not as wide as a real egg so don't worry there are pretty similar dimensions the airpods pro being a bit slimmer than the pixel buds they both do have buttons on the back the air pods being a circle one or the pixel buds is a longer rounded rectangle type thing the airpods pro charge via lightning charging cable where the pixel buds charge via usbc both do have very nice lids the airpods pro having a bit nicer snap to me but overall both high quality all right now for the design of the earbuds looking at the two side by side they both look very very nice the airpods pro with their infamous stem design where the pixel buds have pretty much the same exact design as the pixel buds too which kind of look like mentos in your ears these pixel buds have a shiny gray plastic on the inside which is different than their predecessors they both do have exchangeable ear tips the airpods pro having their proprietary ear tips that come off a bit different where the pixel buds have pretty much normal ear tips they both do have ear sensors on the earbud as well as mic holes the pixel buds have this little rubber thing that helps to keep the earbuds in your ear and overall design for both looks very nice to me all right let's do a fit test all right now for the ear tip fit test we'll start the airpods pro probably seen them around they're pretty pretty common just put them in your ears boom there you go that's how they look very very pretty pretty much you've probably seen them before not bad not bad all right pixel buds they don't fit very well in my ears i don't know why it and it's been a problem with the other pixel buds too the pixel the pixel buds too but they don't look they don't look horrible in here i actually really like how they look they're just little mentos not too bad i'm really interested to see how they do in a shake test so all right now for the earbuds shake test all right so we're gonna start with the pixel buds because they're already in my ears they're gone i have messed around with the ear tips too and they just don't seem to fit in my ears i don't know what the deal is but they just fly right out of my ears i really really like them i just wish they fit better in my ears all right now we're going to do the airpods pro done this many times they tend to pretty much stain nothing they're not coming out i don't know what it is about the pixel buds they just don't fit in my ears i really wish they did because they're great but they're down but if they fit in your ears go right ahead they're great i really like them just wish they fit let's get into the connectivity of the two we are going to start on android this is a oneplus 7 pro these are the pixel buds series a all right open the case pretty sure oh press connect set up oh yeah try on earbuds okay oh okay okay they very they don't they're not fitting very well in my ear right now but skip next track sorry i'm playing along with this i have them in my ears you can't see me but previous trap see charging status okay throw back in here that's when i see charging status okay dual microphones for clear calls beautiful in-ear detection oh yeah havable service all right now for the iphone pairing with the apple airpods pro there they are right there press connect you also get your own little pairing screen just like the pixel buds on android spatial audio beautiful all right now for my personal opinion after using these two for a while this is my conclusion they're both two great pairs of earbuds and honestly these pixel buds series a are actually really really good like for how much they cost and how much you actually get there very good value you practically get the exact same thing as the original pixel buds just for eighty dollars cheaper which is kind of a big deal it's like a hundred dollars versus almost 200 and it's kind of crazy to me how they could just like lower the price and i really really actually like these a lot i use them all the time they work great how do they compare the airpods pro i'd say the airpods pro are definitely better but the pixel buds are still really really good value the airpods probably just kind of more features like with active noise cancellation and ambient mode and they fit better in my ears personally that's just personal preference but the pixel buds overall great pair of earbuds all right thank you all so much for watching this video if you like to check these out the links will be in the description and yeah if you have any other recommendations for videos i should do leave them in the comments yeah make sure to subscribe and peace youhey what is up
