**CES 2014: A Look at the Razer Forge TV**

Hey guys this is Austin and today I'm here at CES 2014 taking a look at the Razer Forge TV.

Razer always brings cool stuff to CES, and this year is no exception. The Forge TV is a $100 micro console running Android TV, and this thing is no joke. Right out of the box, it's able to play Android games that support a controller. While most games are designed for a 5-in phone and out of 50-in TV titles like Modern Combat 5 look like early Xbox 360 games.

I did notice a little bit of stutter in with Asphalt 8, but for the most part everything was incredibly Snappy. If you haven't tried Android TV yet it really is a great looking interface. Everything runs like butter on the Forge, which is a big deal. A lot of set top boxes can be a little laggy.

**Inside the Forge TV**

Inside is a quad core Snapdragon 805, 2 GB of RAM, ethernet as well as 802.11 AC Wireless, and a full-sized USB 3.0 Port. Making it essentially a high-end phone that sits under your TV. It's a fairly unassuming black box that doesn't even come with a remote. However, it does support Google cast and can be controlled via an app if you don't get the controller.

**One Big Feature: Cortex Stream**

One big feature with the Forge is cortex stream. It's similar to Nvidia's game stream, allowing you to play PC games over your home network on a TV. However, this won't be launching until later this year.

**The Servo Controller**

Announced alongside Razer Forge is the servo controller. At first glance, it looks like a typical Xbox style gamepad however it's got one very cool feature - the abxy buttons. It's hard to describe but they feel different than anything I've ever used on a controller almost like a mechanical keyboard.

You can clip your phone onto it as well, but unfortunately comes in at a price of $80 or $1150 bundled with a Forge TV still though it's an interesting piece of gear and I'd love to see these tactile buttons on other controllers.

**The Razor Turret**

Another cool accessory is the razor turret. This is a wireless mouse and keyboard with an attached mouse pad that works on Forge TV in your PC. That's made to be used on the couch. The whole package charges together in a neat little dock, and it folds out when you're ready to use it.

One killer feature - magnets. The mouse is lightly magnetized to the mouse pad which prevents it from easily falling off when you're playing at an angle without ruining the tracking. For $120 I'm going to be all over this as soon as it comes out in the next couple months.

**What Do You Think?**

So, what do you guys think about the Forge TV? Definitely be sure to let me know in the comments below and be sure to subscribe for lots more CS videos like this. Anyway, guys thank you so much for watching and I will catch you in the next one.
