While we've suspected some of the newly released software has confirmed that bigger iPhones and iPads are in the works in order to fully be able to enjoy these bigger and better devices, this means developers would need the tools to properly scale their application. Thanks to a culac reader for Breo, you can see a screenshot of the new xcode beta used by developers to create their apps now showing the ability to also simulate resizing their apps into larger iPhone and iPad resolutions if these rumors hold to be true. Many are eagerly waiting for the iPhone 6, and a report from China suggests that they could be coming quite soon after resolving a battery issue that are reportedly halted production on the rumored 5 and half-inch iPhone. It's told that Apple is now on course to ship around 20 million of these phones this year while also expected to now be released alongside a smaller 4.7-inch iPhone. If you've been holding out on getting an iMac and hopes of getting a retina display, your hopes may just be coming true quite soon. While it was first reported in previous mountain lion developer betas, a file has been found in the new yosity beta listing scaled up resolutions of the software similar to the required for a retina display. I personally say I've been waiting quite some time for this and an official 2014 announcement would be perfect.
