### Testing SUV Agility: A Fun Comparison Between the Ionic and Enya
SUVs aren’t typically known for their sports-car capabilities, but they spend a significant amount of time navigating tight spaces like parking lots and dealing with the daily school run. Given this reality, we decided to put two SUVs—the **Ionic** and the **Enya**—to the test in an **Agility Test**. The goal was to determine which one could maneuver through a twisty car park marked with traffic cones in the least amount of time.
To make things exciting, we set up a scenario where kids are screaming for their Jammy Dodgers in the back seat, and everyone is racing to find that last parking spot. The challenge was on! We wanted to see which SUV could handle the tight turns and limited spaces with ease.
For fairness, we decided to let **Casey** take the wheel since they’re known for their precision and skill behind the wheel. Before starting, Casey mentioned that they don’t care who wins because both cars have their own unique strengths. The Ionic is fun to drive, while the Enya offers a different experience altogether.

#### Testing the Ionic: A Smooth Start
The first car up for testing was the **Ionic**. We activated the **sports mode**, which immediately made the car feel more responsive. The steering felt heavy but precise, and the acceleration was impressive. Casey noted that it had more horsepower than the Enya, which gave it an edge in certain situations.
As we pulled into the first parking spot, the weight of the car became noticeable. However, the Ionic handled the tight turns with ease, and Casey managed to avoid hitting any cones. The car’s agility was impressive, and it completed the course in **53.72 seconds**. Despite its heavier feel, the Ionic proved to be a capable vehicle for navigating tight spaces.

#### Testing the Enya: A Close Race
Next up was the **Enya**. Casey mentioned that they couldn’t find a button to turn off the ESC (Electronic Stability Control), but they were able to use sport mode effectively. The Enya felt slightly slower off the line compared to the Ionic, but its steering lock and handling made up for it.
The car’s extra steering lock was particularly useful in tight spaces, allowing Casey to maneuver through the cones with precision. The Enya also had a unique feature: flaps on the doors that could be used for added grip during sharp turns. This feature proved invaluable in navigating the twisty course.
In the end, the Enya completed the course in **48 seconds**, which was an impressive **5 seconds faster** than the Ionic. Casey attributed this to the Enya’s superior steering lock and handling in tight parking spaces.

#### Final Thoughts
Both cars performed exceptionally well in the test, but each had its own strengths. The Ionic was fun to drive, with a grin-inducing performance that made it a joy to handle on tighter turns. Its acceleration and horsepower gave it an edge in certain situations, making it a great choice for those who want a bit of excitement behind the wheel.
On the other hand, the Enya proved to be more practical for everyday driving, especially when navigating tight parking lots. Its superior steering lock and handling made it faster and more efficient in the agility test. While it may not have the same level of fun as the Ionic, the Enya offers a solid package that gets the job done reliably.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a balance between fun and practicality, the Ionic is the way to go. But if you prioritize everyday usability and efficiency in tight spaces, the Enya is the better choice. Both cars have their strengths, and it ultimately comes down to what you value more in an SUV!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enSUVs aren't expected to be sports cars but they will spend a lot of time navigating their way around car parks and the school run so we thought it would be a good idea to have a little Agility Test and a stopwatch to see how quickly we can get our remaining two cars the ionic and the eniac to get round are rather twisty tourney car park which is marked out with traffic cones now imagine this the kids are in the back seat screaming for their Jammy Dodgers you see one last parking spot you and the five others are all racing to get there so you want your SUVs to be nice and agile so that's what this auto test will check out and because it's against the clock I'll let Casey Take the Wheel to ensure a fair result now let's not mention any more Jammy Dodgers because I've got a delicate stomach radio then Jimmy oh I'm ready for this let's start with the ionic so I've got to say this before we pull away this final I actually don't mind who wins because I think both these cars are great in their own way I think they both give different things to the market so this is kind of happy final for me I'm rooting for both of them well there you go we'll see which one wins so I've gone into a sport board which this car has I've turned off the region uh I hope you've digested your lunch we'll find out shortly the pulled pork burger is about to make a review I'm smiling I'm just gonna enjoy this you ready yep three two one go the steering response is good though you do feel the weight of that you really do but it does accelerate well isn't it this is what happens when an xf1 driver gets behind the wheel of a family SUV in a supermarket car park parking boss don't hit a cone very nicely done it got the wipers they're they're a very similar way but this has got a few more horsepower look at that that's great look at that just missed it just missed it yeah go go go go go go go go go go go you can really feel the weight dinner is dinner come on round the last code and in the Box in the Box in the Box don't hit that cone so the ionic completed the course in 53.72 seconds you could feel it was Heavy it was heavy but it didn't accelerate well but it does accelerate doesn't it it's got more power than the eniac of course yeah yeah uh we shall see and importantly my dinner is still inside me and I didn't hit any chords so no penalties no penalties there you go oh nice one okay should we swap yep time to see if the Enya could do it any quicker right then Jimmy yes the ionic set quite a good Benchmark I have to say in terms of fun that was really good massive grin on my face sliding slip and sliding loved it it's great fun so I found sport mode but I can't find any button to turn off the ESC on this so uh we just had to take support mode on it sort of Merit it is what it is right you ready uh yep okay in three two one go see now that didn't feel as quick off the line and it definitely doesn't but the Turning rate is this excellent isn't it I can I've got so much more steering lock in a tightly car park that's gonna be very handy I've also found another use for those flaps on the doors because I'm able to hang on very unique oh look at the moment that is cleaning go go go go go go go go that is feeling very very tight I'm revising my bed Jimmy yeah I know through the chicane come on here we go come on come on what was it what was it this is the winner 48 seconds so that's that's five seconds faster than the ionic that is amazing and I tell you that came down to having more steering lock in and out of the two parking Bays we had I could go in nice and clean nice and clean and then when I wanted to reverse out which let's be honest if you're in a shopping center car park or in a supermarket car park it can get a bit tight yeah having that extra bit of steering lock meant it was just so much faster so a well-deserved winner is however I will say big caveat if you want to put a smile on your face definitely the ionic if you're ever going to go drifting around the ionic for one 100 but just for nimble nice parking it's this there you go five seconds yeah and for a lot less money a decent package that does exactly what you want it to do you can't complain so there you go thank you\n"
