Koala's March Cookies vs. Koala Kakao - Whatcha Eating #55

A Short Follow-up Video

In a previous video, I shared my experience with "Me Eats Germany" and showcased some German candies, including Koala Biscuits. A great viewer from Germany sent me a lovely package, which included two types of Koala Biscuits: Koala Cacao and Koala Namachi. In this follow-up video, I'll be comparing these two popular Japanese biscuit cookies.

Comparing Koala Cacao and Koala Namachi

Upon opening the packages, I noticed that both Koala Cacao and Koala Namachi feature koalas on their boxes. The packaging is similar in size, with a hexagonal shape and a fun design. However, upon closer inspection, I realized that there are some subtle differences between the two. For instance, the printing on the German Koala Biscuit box has thicker lines compared to the Japanese ones.

I also noticed that the Japanese Koala Namachi biscuits have more detailed designs. The koalas on the packaging seem to be more vibrant and colorful, with distinct features such as a drum for the German one and a scale for the Japanese one. These differences are noticeable when comparing the two side by side.

When it comes to the inside of the packaging, I discovered that both biscuits have little holes where the chocolate is injected. However, upon biting into them, I realized that they taste differently. The Japanese Koala Namachi has a better-tasting chocolate compared to the German one, which tastes more like biscuit.

A Match Made in Heaven

As a fun challenge, I decided to try and find the match for each Koala Biscuit. I carefully spread out all the Little Koala bears and matched them up, hoping that I wouldn't have eaten one along the way. To my surprise, most of the biscuits matched perfectly! However, two of them were left unmatched, which only added to the excitement.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Koala Cacao and Koala Namachi are both delicious biscuit cookies with a delightful twist. The Japanese ones seem to have an edge in terms of design quality and taste, but ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. If you're looking for a tasty biscuit cookie experience, I highly recommend trying out these Japanese biscuits. And if you're like me, make sure to find the match before enjoying them!
