**I Finally Have a Blog**

Well, it's pretty ironic I have a blog yes guys I finally have a blog do you remember a few weeks back a few weeks more like a few months back I was talking about a um blog that I wanted to start cuz now that I'm in college I don't have the freedom of making videos like every other day like I want to because uh people be in the room and I just rather do it when I'm by myself and just School workk in general and stuff like that but yes I finally have a Blog go to the creative one blog. blogspot.com yeah I know it's not the best name but I wanted to have a name with my name in in there that way I get maximum exposure and people already know what it is basically what this blog is in six words five words sorry I had to count my little thing I'm that weird pathetic whatever basically it's a text version of YouTube like I said since I can't make that many videos um this is the next best thing um I'm going to be making updates almost every day so please bookmark it um please check it a few times a day if you can I mean I'm not telling you to check it but I am promising you that I will make updates almost every day um I already have like six or seven posts basically I'll be doing um topics uh about Apple um anything in general polls about school um I want this to appeal to everybody and I'm working on a secret project right now that I'll reveal in a couple weeks because it's going to take a while to make but um yeah more on that later hopefully you guys really like that because it's it's a question I get pretty common on YouTube and this thing I'm making will help you guys a lot and I I hope to be successful with this cuz I've been doing some research on it but um enough teasing with you guys but basically please bookmark it please visit the site um pretty often if you can because I promise to make updates and um I'm just glad I'm finally doing it and it's free so why not and I just love doing updates cuz it's obviously a lot easier doing text updates rather than video updates.

All right I'm already past 10 minutes so um yeah that's it the iTunes song pick for this geek update is Three Little Birds by B sorry let me try this again Three Little Birds by Bob Marley now I finally saw I Am Legend great freaking fantastic movie Will Smith seriously kicks ass I love him as an actor Will Smith is always awesome um ever since the fresh prince of Bel Air he he's just been a great actor and um the whole movie is just amazing I mean I I don't usually like I mean I don't usually call movies amazing cuz quite frankly movies today pretty much suck but um this is a great movie I highly recommend seeing it it's very sad obviously I won't spoil the plot or anything that happens but I really enjoyed it um basically how how the heck am I talking about I Am Legend um three little birds is a song Will Smith uh you know obviously the main character he plays this song A few times throughout the movie and it just says like don't worry and stuff like that and um it's already real popular according to iTunes and obviously it's a well-known song i' I've heard this song a million times before by the way do you see Windows Vista behind me that's Billy screen saver curse you billing your Windows Vista I'm just kidding I'm just kidding guys I'm just kidding calm down yeah um yeah I heard a song and I checked my iTunes cyber and I was like how the hell do I not have this song so there you go um buy the song if you want download it uh whatever way you download your songs VI iTunes Amazon Zoom Marketplace all that good stuff well not counting Marketplace that's not good stuff that's just a thing that you have to use once again a joke um I will not dis the zoon theon's actually a decent MP3 player now personally I would never buy one myself or ask for one but theon's come a long way and could us to Microsoft for trying but obviously the iPod's still a number one all right well and as usual the um iTunes L will be to my left but to your right to the song I just mentioned so all right that's it thanks for watching guys um I'll try to have a new update of my desk area like I promised within a week or so who knows maybe I'll make it this week so all right oh and obviously if you can't tell I'm all better for the most part I'm like still coughing and stuff but oh God guys I'm much better that's basically it sorry I'm so dramatic all right guys I know I say all right guys a lot all right thanks for watching and um have a great weekend peace

this is pretty fast for me for being in college so um all right let's just get right to it the first topic is Apple releases 10.5.2 yes finally um this is clearly the biggest update to Mac OS 10 yet uh for Mac users if you haven't done so already click the little apple Logan in the top left of the screen um then click software update and then your Mac will automatically check for updates and if you haven't updated yet 10.5.2 will definitely be there now what does this update do it's a pretty big one first of all lots of fixes now of course I don't have the whole list of fixes memorized in my head right now cuz that would just be insane and ludicrous but um I do not for a fact that it fixes a lot of bugs although it doesn't fix one bug when my display awakes expose is activated and my mouse and my mouse cursor is always in the top left corner of the screen that's a bug they still them fix which surprises me because I'm sure it's happened to other people sorry if I'm lagging uh yeah all right that's better but yeah um finally a big one right here Apple finally gives the users um the choice of many bar transparency at the top of the screen now when that was introduced one of the biggest um notices of the new user interface was the um transparent menu bar and for those of you who don't know the menu bar is just simply the uh bar at the top it's like the it's like the equivalent of the windows taskbar and windows but obviously much better let's not get there though um but yeah uh to turn it on and off now go to system preferences and click on desktop and screen saver personally I think it should be in the appearance category but um technically it is on the desktop so I'm sure that's why they put it there and now it's the very bottom option and uh yeah as it's it's as simple as that I have mine I have my transparency checked off cuz personally I think it looks better this way and sometimes they can get distracting while working in Photoshop and iMovie and Final Cut Express with the colors up there personally I don't even know why Apple did in the first place cuz I know a lot of professionals use Macs to make video especially graphic design uh when you're designing graphics and working the video and color and images like that and photography you you need a clear workspace with no distractions and you just need to focus on the photograph or video or whatever you're working on and only that uh it's very crucial when working like that and a third thing that they added this in this um is a new list View and stacks when uh okay personally I love Stacks I um literally use use Stacks like every day um for those of you who don't know um Stacks is just a little shortcut um well stack that pops out of your dock or if you have side dock like I do then it's a grid View and basically it's a shortcut to your files that you can download or shortcut to Applications documents basically whatever you want but um basically when Stacks was added it also Apple also act a feature that a lot of people used and that's list view so you can look at your list um there's a name for that but uh like like springloaded folders where it comes out I don't I don't think that's the word for it but um basically Apple added it again and a lot of people are happy about this because I know a lot of people hated that they took this out I don't know why they took it out I mean why add a feature but take out a feature that a lot of people use kind of like the transparency menu bar sometimes Apple doesn't do things that that quite makes sense but whatever but they fixed it and that's all that matters obviously they're listening to user feedback and as you can see Apple's putting out updates faster than Microsoft is for Vista I don't think Service Pack one's even out yet I think it's coming out in a couple weeks but uh this isn't a Mac vers PC debate video I'm just saying and finally after you update to 10 10.5.2 and you restart your computer um if you go to software update again you will see a new update for for the leopard Graphics update now I don't know if this does anything for me but it certainly seems like it basically what it does is um it increases the performance of the graphics performance that makes sense and Mac OS 10 leopard this means your expose animations dashboard expose um hiding your applications for the desktop uh minimizing windows I guess video playback anything like that basically anything that uses Graphics to um show stuff on the screen and it's made a big difference for me minimizing Windows is much better now expose is much better um time machine is a little laggy still but I can live with that cuz I have a three-year-old Mac and it's impressive in the oh God I'm probably lagging sorry my screen saver sorry that screen saver really kills my performance because it uses my eyesight um anyway yeah that's basically it um install the updates I'm pretty sure you guys will be happy there's still a few things that they need to fix but this is only dot two um chances are they go all the way up tot 10 or even 11 like they did in Tiger all right so the next topic is my journey with black and white photography as you know I'm taking a black and white photography class um here at the college um first of all I would like to say this is my first time really working with film I'm sorry if I'm lagging here this is my first time ever working with film officially I mean I've used 35mm cameras but um yeah this is my first time ever developing it myself ever actually working with it like taking pictures for like a class or whatever and honestly it's very freaking frustrating I was ready to throw the freaking camera out the freaking window yeah I'm saying freaking a freaking lot because uh well it's freaking necessary and I know okay anyway um basically my main problem was that I was not loading my film correctly um I might re-record this if this is really laggy because I can tell I'm lagging behind basically I didn't load my uh film correctly like an idiot well it's new to me so I was still learning but um basically the first two roles of film I went to development class came out they totally transparent which means there are no photos on there whatsoever really pissed off I was falling behind and the next thing you know I get sick during class uh during the week so I couldn't go to class last Thursday so I fall even more behind but U thanks to YouTube I found a video on how to load film correctly and it's really helping a lot and now I loaded it correctly and I successfully developed my film processed my film and printed my photos out last night um I think I could do better but hey hey it's my first assignment now we're working with uh light and Shadow out so basically I like it a lot more now working in the dark room is still very cool but very frustrating at the same time I uh cut my thumb last week trying to open the freaking the little film canister well it's it's healed now because it was last week but there was some blood uh yeah and it's and it's an expensive class but um I'm very appreciative that my mom and dad can understand the fact that I need to buy the supplies meaning the camera and the film and the paper and the then the supplies it just gets so um expensive but I'll be selling my camera on eBay after this class is done because I don't need it cuz I have my Canon um digital Rebel XD digital is the way to go guys for me anyway cuz you know me I'm I'm a photo shop freak and stuff like that so yeah basically I'm finally getting the hang of it and it's it's really interesting but once this class is done I'm done with film screw it back to digital IO that's that that's the way it's meant to me all right so the final topic for
