**Let Streamers Grow**
As I sit here thinking about my own journey as a streamer and creator, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something that's been on my mind lately. It's about the way we perceive and treat other creators in the online community. Specifically, I want to address the phenomenon of "selling out" when it comes to leaving one platform for another.
I mean, let's be honest with ourselves - if Microsoft came knocking on your door today, tomorrow, or whenever offering a multi-million dollar deal to stream exclusively on their up-and-coming platform, wouldn't you consider it? I know I would. And I'm not alone. There are countless creators out there who have made the same decision at some point in their careers. But instead of embracing this opportunity and growing as a creator, we like to call them "sellouts".
This mindset is not only unfair but also misguided. These people got to where they are by creating content that resonates with audiences. They worked hard to build their brand, engage with their community, and produce high-quality content. And when an exciting deal comes along that could take their career to the next level, why wouldn't they take it? It's not about selling out; it's about making a living.
I've had potential sponsors in the past who wanted me to promote certain products or services on my channel. While I appreciate the offer, I've chosen to turn them down more than once because it didn't align with my values and audience expectations. But that doesn't mean other creators can't make a decision like that for themselves.
The problem is, when we call someone a "sellout", we're implying that they're somehow less worthy or less committed to their craft. Newsflash: creating content online requires sacrifice, dedication, and hard work. And when an opportunity comes along that could take our career to new heights, shouldn't we be celebrating that?
**Let's Focus on Growth**
So what can we do instead of calling out creators who choose to leave one platform for another? How about we focus on supporting their growth and success? Let's celebrate the innovation and creativity that happens when creators experiment with new platforms, formats, or business models.
The online community is constantly evolving, and as a creator, it's my job to stay ahead of the curve. By embracing change and exploring new opportunities, I can continue to produce high-quality content that resonates with my audience. And by supporting other creators who do the same, we can build a more vibrant and diverse online ecosystem.
**About ContentStarterKit**
Speaking of growth and support, I want to take a moment to plug my own website - ContentStarterKit.com (previously ToFrankieMedia). As some of you may know, I've been exploring new ways to help creators grow their brand and build successful online businesses. And today, I'm excited to announce two major updates to the site!
**Guest Posts**
First up is a guest post section on the website. If you have something to share about growing your brand, building a YouTube channel, creating a website, or any other aspect of content creation, I want to hear from you! Submitting a guest post will not only get your voice heard by my audience but also give you the opportunity to include a self-promotion link on your own website.
**The Creators Showcase**
Next, I've introduced what I call the "Creators Showcase" over at ContentStarterKit.com. This feature allows creators to showcase their own websites, built using any of the web hosts featured on my site. By promoting these platforms and offering resources and support, we can help more creators get online and start building their brand.
So, if you're starting a website or looking for advice on how to grow your online presence, please head over to ContentStarterKit.com and check out the showcase. I'd love to feature your site and help take your career to new heights!
**A Personal Note**
Finally, I want to thank all of my amazing supporters who tune in every week to watch me stream and learn from me. Your support means the world to me, and I promise to keep pushing myself to create content that's engaging, informative, and entertaining.
And, yes, I'm overdue on my bookcase update. I've got a few more shelves to fill with all sorts of goodies and treasures. But for now, let's just say it's coming along nicely...
