What It's Like To Drive A $3.2m Bugatti Chiron Sport

The Driving Experience: A comparison between the Bentley Continental GTC and the Bugatti Chiron

I recently had the opportunity to drive both the Bentley Continental GTC and the Bugatti Chiron, two cars that are known for their exceptional performance and handling. As I sat down in the driver's seat of the Bentley, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. It was like riding in a time machine, back to an era when driving was about more than just getting from point A to point B.

The ride itself was incredibly smooth and comfortable, with adaptive dampers that allowed for a level of compliance that was previously unseen in cars. The Bentley's carbon fibre chassis and suspension provided a stiff yet compliant ride, making it feel like you were floating over the road. I couldn't help but think back to my own driving experiences in the past, when cars like the Veyron were considered the pinnacle of performance.

In contrast, the Bugatti Chiron was an entirely different story. Its carbon fibre chassis and suspension provided a level of stiffness that was almost palpable, making it feel like you were driving on rails. The adaptive dampers allowed for a level of adjustability that was previously unimaginable, allowing the driver to stiffen or soften the ride as needed.

As I took the Chiron out for a spin, I couldn't help but notice how much more racy and sporty it felt than the Bentley Continental GTC. It was like night and day - while the Bentley was smooth and comfortable, the Chiron was edgy and aggressive. The sound of its engine was louder and more visceral, with a deeper bass that seemed to vibrate through every cell in your body.

I took the Chiron out for a few laps on a nearby track, and I have to say, it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. The acceleration was insane, and the handling was incredibly precise. It felt like I was pushing the car to its limits, and beyond, with every corner and straightaway.

But as much as the Chiron was exciting, it also made me realize that sometimes less is more. The Bentley Continental GTC had a certain charm to it that the Chiron just couldn't match - a sense of sophistication and elegance that came from its sleek design and luxurious interior.

In the end, I have to say that both cars were incredible in their own ways, but for different reasons. If you're looking for an experience that's all about raw performance and handling, then the Bugatti Chiron is definitely the car for you. But if you're looking for something a little more refined and sophisticated, then the Bentley Continental GTC may be the better choice.

My Test Drive Experience: Launching the Chiron from 0 to 60mph in under 3 seconds

I recently had the opportunity to test drive the Bugatti Chiron, and I have to say, it was an experience that will stay with me for a long time. The car's acceleration is insane - it can go from 0 to 60mph in under 3 seconds, making it one of the fastest production cars on the planet.

I remember sitting down in the driver's seat, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation as I prepared to launch the car. As soon as I put my foot down, the Chiron sprang into life, its engine roaring like a beast as it accelerated from 0 to 60mph in just under 3 seconds.

The experience was incredible - it felt like I was pushing the car to its limits, and beyond. The acceleration was so intense that I had to push the car harder to keep up with it, and yet, at the same time, it also made me feel incredibly comfortable and secure.

As I accelerated, the Chiron's handling became more and more precise - it felt like I was driving a high-performance sports car, rather than a production car. The steering was light and responsive, making it easy to carve through corners with precision.

The ride itself was surprisingly smooth, considering how fast we were going. The adaptive dampers worked seamlessly, allowing for a level of adjustability that made the Chiron feel like an extension of my body.

Driving the Bugatti Chiron: A Road Trip Through Europe

After my test drive experience, I decided to embark on a road trip through Europe with the Bugatti Chiron as my trusty companion. We set off early in the morning, eager to make the most of our time behind the wheel.

As we hit the open road, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The Chiron's acceleration was still impressive, even at cruising speeds - it felt like we were gliding over the road, rather than actually driving.

We took on some of Europe's most scenic routes, including the famous Stelvio Pass in Italy. The Chiron handled beautifully, carving through corners with precision and ease. The suspension worked seamlessly, absorbing bumps and potholes with ease.

At times, we even had to slow down due to traffic or road conditions - but even then, the Chiron's handling remained impressive. It felt like I was driving a high-performance sports car, rather than a production car.

As we made our way through Europe, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to drive one of the world's most incredible cars. The Bugatti Chiron is truly a machine for the gods - and yet, at the same time, it also feels incredibly accessible and enjoyable.

In the end, my experience with the Bugatti Chiron was one that I will never forget. It was an experience that pushed me to my limits, both physically and emotionally - but in the best possible way.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay so if there's one thing I can claim about drive the world it's that it's allowed me to drive some pretty insane cars hell I wanna know and welcome to seeing through glass yes today it is finally I say finally but actually it's all coming around very very quickly but it's happening I'm gonna be driving a Bugatti Chiron sport it is with huge thanks to Bugatti broward in Florida who have pulled this together just like out of nowhere basically you may remember that a few weeks ago I drove a Veyron of a quick Drive in a veil on up in Canada in that video I said look I really want to now experience a ship on because ever since this car got north of course it is the successor to the Veyron I just went that's a bit of me if I ever win the euromillions or the powerball lottery that's the card going by because I like it's kind of GT characteristics nature but then also just end of the world speed where anyway the legends down here at Bugatti broward said we can make this happen so they got in touch with Bugatti HQ got me a car got me a driver and yes I'm about to go out in this thing and experience it on the open roads I'm so freaking excited I don't know how to contain myself I've even got a Bugatti how to celebrate the occasion let's go well here we are then inside the bugatti chiron sport I believe this it's not a car that really I ever thought I would find myself behind the wheel of here in America this year on sport starts at 3.2 million dollars and as you can see this car has a lot of colorful carbon fibre and beautiful details that I'm sure makes its price a little bit higher than that but anyway of course it's Florida and as I keep repeating in all my videos it's unbearably hot so without further ado let's start this car up so that the air-conditioning could call me down and I can prepare for this drive so very simple engine button there which is the start/stop button so foot on the brake and the thing which I will say immediately is there's a lot more theater with this car than its predecessor the Veyron that maybe like I said of obvious statement to make but the very one was famed for its usability the fact that it was so comfy and luxurious but also capable of terrifying speeds this car still capable of terrifying speed and still incredibly comfortable but there's just something about it which is - a little bit more I don't know sporty hence the sheer on sport I'm sure a lot of you have a board at me just sitting in a car park talking I will just reverse the fact that Jamie Muro is here from Bugatti sitting very quietly right next to me as extinction before that I have driven cars before this notice the sort of freak you know if occurrence but anyway he's here to help me instruct me and let me know what I'm doing wrong so firstly out of the car park and I don't know if you're picking up on it but in terms of engine and exhaust know there's just so much more of it it's a deeper darker Rumble and it's louder which makes you think that you're inherently in something a bit more aggressive whilst that Veyron was this so subdued I wasn't even aware of some of the speeds that we reached during my very short experience with the car but yes as you're probably witnessing it's so easy to maneuver and live with this car it's terrifying we're gonna left alright ok perfect feel free you can just bark out like a driving instructor Jamie so yeah I'm trying to this let everything sort of sink in because it's such a sort of big moment I think in any automotive person's life jumping into a Bugatti but especially one as kind of like special as the Chiron sport right up here right onto the onto the freeway okay perfect now definite when you're talking about 1,500 horsepower it's all about easing into the speed um who think about this cars because it's so sort of easy and relatively familiar as a slow speed driving experience you could easily become a bit cocky I think but Jamie did you know sort of example acceleration on the way here and it was so mind bogglingly overpowering I'm not gonna actually throw it straight away but we're gonna just slowly build up to that fifteen hundred PS mark which is crazy there we go so there we go these displays as I was showing you before that show out max PS max speed I said you have now been reset which means we have new targets to set ourselves and there we go an initial acceleration in is Chiron I felt a little bit nauseous there the biggest thing is don't you eat the turbo whoosh that kind of spoon up almost a lot a lot more turbo noise than I was maybe expecting which without dark Rumble as we are cruising around the car park is were pleased with this it actually reminds me a little bit Jamie my Cringer this over horror let's skip past that analogy the mad thing is we are in complete auto mode I'm not doing anything I'm not shifting paddles or not even in this sort of sport is sitting at the gearbox understand the car figure itself out and down here I have a kind of you know driving mode selector and at the moment we're in the sort of standard setting which the court basically learns how you're driving so it's going okay this guy's a doesn't know what he's doing let's look hard to him I'm not unleash all the power straightaway if I wanted to I could go into the kind of motorway or freeway mode which changes the rake of the class it's not sort of more aerodynamically balanced for high speed long runs then we've also got the sort of handling mode at the bottom because of course the sport is essentially a car all about it's sort of increased handling characteristics or improved and the characteristics a colour can go around corners as well as get you to Monaco in about half an hour yeah just this is the this is the blow away thing about the Chiron take a can as they take a Pagani they're not as smooth as easy as salute just posed as this car they initially feel a bit more shed built i won't compare it to a laugh Ryan I did you know P once I think they're they're different cars I mean there's not much of a completes against a Bugatti anyway but in terms of outright power in terms of PS then yes you do find the canonical example garnets to try anyway let's now go into the sport yeah okay box immediately that was a big shift town a lot more noise and here we go how on earth did the characteristics of this car change so dramatically by literally pushing that to the right oh my god this is now super addictive okay I'm just gonna keep slowing down and speeding up I could to see know what the most obvious way the driver here we go a corner this thing is just like awning on Rails on very very fast rails it's terrifying how demonic this cars become so quickly it's all in the plow delivery which is just like a sledgehammer to your face annual back I mean this is all the car you ever ever need to I mean above maybe a v12 soundtrack but you know what I would say I would argue that this Santa is more appropriate because it's so evil and it sounds like power sounds or sort of you know that deep dark AMG Black Series roar well I think if it was screaming like a sort of v12 ov-10 it wouldn't necessarily be appropriate because it wouldn't feel like such a sort of for Eska machine just gonna remember all these people driving on the road as seeing a Chiron don't be freaking now losing their car be leaning out taking photos cause you still don't see these things now just to keep experiencing this car and every way possible us choose a manual gear now I wonder I would say how many share on owners will actually use the flappy paddles okay fine if you're out there on a sort of curvy amount some word maybe you would want to engage her there but it's not a cloud in heavily makes you want to sort of power through the gears it's so good at deciding you know what it should do for you and you just have the power whenever you need it now the embarrassing thing I've just noticed is I haven't actually reached max power we are at thirteen hundred and thirty four PS so we've got about a hundred and seventy hundred and sixty PS still to go which means I need to find an open road that is almost more terrifying than actually the prospect of doing the 1500 PS launch because I don't feel like I want to or need to go any faster but the biggest takeaway
