my videos you know once I get a phone I usually wait about a week and then I give yall a real review from a real consumer's point of view but since this is a prototype phone that's not even out yet we got to review it for what it is a prototype right now with that being said just like any of my other videos let me start off with everything that I don't like first and then we'll get into everything that I do like now even before we get into everything I don't like let me just say this this phone right here the LG V10 might be without a doubt the best allaround phone on the market period now is it my top phone well it's missing a few things that's going to put it into my top spot but it's definitely in the top three all right this phone is a certified heavy hitter now let's talk about what I don't like first number one the buttons on the back now I know this is not a big deal but I just don't like the button placement on the back if you're coming from an iPhone or you're coming from a Samsung or Motorola HTC and you're used to buttons on the side it's going to be a little learning curve getting used to the buttons on the back I'm just not a big fan of that I never have since the G3 since the G4 I I I never been a fan of buttons on the back now don't get me wrong the buttons on the back they do function in a certain way we'll we'll we'll talk about that there's some pluses to having buttons on the back there's some pluses such as when you're taking a screenshot it's so easy to just press both buttons at the same time yeah that's a nice little touch and also with the fingerprint scanner I like it on the back but as far as far as volume up and down on the back and some of the motion controls on the back I'm just not a big fan of that never have been never will be next the rubber back now this is kind of important I'm not a fan of the rubber back at all now don't get me wrong this phone is built as aable you know drop tested proof uh proven phone yeah and the rubber back it definitely gives it some grip and it feels good but it kind of takes away from that premium feel now you got the beautiful metal on the sides the phone just looks gorgeous it has a premium feel to it except for the back now I prefer the phones to have a glass back aluminum you know aluminum back metal back leather back anything but this rubberish you know kind of feeling back I'm not a fan of that now if you got a premium feeling phone yeah when when you're in the house or you somewhere when you don't have to worry about dropping your phone take off your case and now you got that beautiful premium feeling phone in your hand that you just spent x amount of money for you want to feel that at some point now when you want to go somewhere to the gym or you want to go somewhere where your phone is going to be in a dangerous situation then you just drop a case on it and now you get that rubberish feel to it now with the with the V10 you're stuck with that rubberish feel once you put a case on top of this it's going to feel even less premium all right so I'm not feeling a rubber back at all even though it does give you some nice grip some people going to disagree you know if you don't use cases yeah you might like that but I prefer to have a premium feeling phone front and back next the battery now the battery on this phone is a little bit suspect you're getting 3,000 mlia battery but I'm an internet Warrior all right I use the phone heavy I use the phone all of the time I like to have my phone on maximum brightness all when I go outside I'm in the I'm in the sunlight all of the time I like to have maximum brightness on the phone I got about 4 hours maybe a little bit more than 4 hours of heavy usage before I had to plug the phone back in right so that's a little bit suspect now with my Galaxy Note 5 I'm getting a little bit over 5 hours that's still that's not the best either but it's a little bit better than this now this does have a removable battery so you know we'll talk about that later but I'm not really feeling the battery too much if your internet Warrior heavy use status you're not going to like you're not going to get a full day at all now you can get a full day using battery saving tips if you use the phone moderately then you're definitely going to get a full day you're not going to have to worry about that but you know if you're using the phone all day long watching movies on YouTube Twitter Instagram all day long four hours later get ready to look for a plug next the speakers now this phone has better uh better speaker placement than the G4 they took it from the back and put it on the bottom but the speaker on this phone is not not even close to being the best if you had a Nexus 6 or you had a HTC M9 and you like those you know front-facing speakers that give you that loud sound once you get this phone you're going to notice that you took a step back now I did a side by-side test Galaxy Note 5 speakers a little bit louder all right now don't get me wrong the speaker is not trash I'm not going to say it's trash but it's definitely not even close to being the best definitely not at all next no wireless charging now that might not be a big deal for you and I'm pretty sure that they will have some power cars that you can attach to the battery but we're talking about as is stock right now no wireless charging that's a big deal for me all right now if y'all watch my videos you see I got a,1 wireless chargers laying around all over the place I got them strategically placed in my office and all throughout the house when I get it when I get somewhere I like to just put my phone down and let it start charging no why is necessary now wireless charging it is kind of the you know kind of the thing of the future all of the new phones coming out with wireless charging some of them ain't but I prefer wireless charging you know we you know let's let's let's keep up with the times I like to get somewhere yall see I got all of these little Che Stone charges I got about four of these laying around all over the place I like to just turn this on put my phone down and let it start charging up no wires no cables none of that stuff to worry about is that the biggest deal in the world not really but you know got to mention that last but not least one of the things now this is not proven yet but I just got to mention this the price now LG hasn't confirmed the price yet but basically they said it's going to cost more than the G4 now a phone like this with all of these Flagship features and specs and especially with the build quality I'd go on record right now I'll eat these words if I'm wrong but I I guarantee you this phone is not going to cost one cent less than $800 now if it does like I said I I'll make a straight up apology video I'll eat these words live on camera but I can tell you for a fact this phone is probably going to cost more than $800 I don't like that I don't like that at all because when this phone does come out depending on which carrier it's available I'm probably going to get it because it's definitely heavy hitter I already know I'm not going to like spending $800 or more now if you bought a S6 Edge plus you know you spent close to $1,000 or $900 depending on which model you got yeah I understand you got to pay to play but if y'all watch my old videos I was just happen to be breezing through one earlier of um ACC touch and palm Prix and all that I was um kind of bitching about the price and those phones was $4 $500 so now you got these phones coming out they almost cracking $1,000 that's too high especially when when companies are coming out with phones every year and they pushing them on to us they want us to upgrade $11,000 or $800 that's just too high all of these phones even with all the specs and stuff these phones should be running about $500 $600 at Max $800 $900 I don't like that will I still pay it of course but I don't like it now with all of that said let's talk about everything that I do like and like I said this might be without a doubt the best allaround phone in the market just it just can't be my number one go-to phone but this is probably the best allaround phone in the market let's talk about what I do like first up the name all right V10 shout out to everybody that rock with the car clubs and all of that y'all already know now I'm just fooling around but the V10 name that's pretty badass if you're a car lover like me you know what the v10s is all about I like that now let's get serious the colors here number two the color this is rose gold okay not that that you see on the iPhone 6s plus that's pink he that's pink this is how rose gold is supposed to look the color scheme on this phone looks beautiful I the rose gold with this kind of creamish off tan kind of coll I forgot the specific name that LG is calling this looks kind of like cream but the gold the rose gold tones accents coupled with the headphones color on this looks beautiful now I seen that they coming out with the blue one and the black one when this one comes out this will probably be the color that I do end up getting right cuz I'm definitely feeling this one you know I like the gold phones I actually almost like this rose gold better than the gold tone that's on the S6 Edge Plus I think I like this rose gold one a little bit better next the build quality now the build quality on this superb not a big fan of the rubber back but it does serve its purpose as making the phone durable now if y'all watch my Amazon Warrior video from Sunday night y'all seen me put this phone to the test now if you look at the display let's turn this on real quick if you look at the display you see no scratches at all Gorilla Glass all right this is real gorilla glass no scratches at all look at the sides no dents and if y'all watch that video how many times did I slam that phone down during the Amazon war video maybe 30 and y'all know I was drinking I was kind of drunk and all that so I was extra heavy-handed I was almost putting this phone through the table I dropped this phone all over the place no scratches at all this phone is super heavy duty all right so if if if you're going to get this phone and not use a case you're not going to have a problem you won't even need a case with this phone you won't even need one trust me all right so the gorilla glass does work a lot of times now you read Gorilla Glass on paper and then you turn around and put your phone in your pocket with your keys and you notice you got a scratch on the front of your phone I had my little knife I was scratching in the phone you know the front of this because it's a you know prototype phone got to put it to the test normally now if I spend $1,000 on the phone I'll wait to see if it gets scratched naturally but on a prototype phone I'm beating this thing into the ground I was scratching the front up no damage at all I slammed it and dropped it no damage so this is a durable phone right here no problems at all next the display now this phone right here you got the 5. uh 7 in display with the little extra you know secondary screen on the top without even getting into ppis and resolution and all that stuff the display on this phone is beautiful beautiful now personally I prefer AMOLED displays let me show you something real quick let me grab my S6 Edge Plus now I personally I got both of these phones on maximum brightness I don't know if the camera is going to do it any justice but if you look closely you'll see that the whites are a little bit brighter a little bit whiter on the G uh on the uh V10 but the blacks are a lot Blacker with the AMOLED displays on the Note Series so me personally I like the AMOLED displays but the display on the V10 is beautiful now I got this phone on maximum brightness the display is crispy you're going to see all the colors no wash outs everything just looks bright and glorious fantastic take any fancy word and just slap it right after that this display is it's hitting right this is this this is one of those real displays right let leave it like that this is a real display Quad HD and all that you might not know what that means doesn't matter just look at it with the naked eye this might be one of the best looking uh displays that you're going to look at all right so the display is a win now let's talk about the secondary display right now I'm feeling that too that's the next thing I'm feeling is the secondary display this is how it's supposed to work now if you got yourself a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge Plus look at the's let's let's take a look at the secondary display on this one if you want to call it that or the curve the curve display when I scroll over on my S6 Edge Plus I could go to different apps or I could just you know call different people or send them a text message that's pretty much it so it some people may say it's kind of gimmicky even though it does work it does work when you want to call somebody or when you want to open an app it works but other than that it's pretty useless it's just there for show now the secondary display on your V10 if you notice I'm getting notifications at the top but this one works and when you get your notification you see that a little notification popped up it doesn't it's it's very it's not obtrusive like when you're get in that usual big banner notifications on all your other phones this one is just right in a little corner and you can just swipe it away or you can tap it to open that app up now the secondary display like let's see um I don't want to open that one look Instagram I tap on that Instagram will just pop up shout out to the New York Mets all right we back in the deck now let's let's stay focused let's go through the secondary display now you see I got some apps right here I could just let me I'm getting too many notifications all right I can I got the way I got it set up right now you can fully customize it the way you want but I got it set up where I got my my note app screenshot take a quick note I got the clock the calendar LG's Fitness fitness app and then you go to settings if I scroll over next now this acts as your recently used apps so now let's say let's say I open up Instagram right now from there if I want to open up Facebook I just click on the Facebook and open up Facebook I want to go back to Instagram click on it go right back to Instagram you see how it switched over let's go to Facebook watch it switch over switches over so these are your recently used apps okay let's keep it moving next you got now this is just a little display right here you could you could customize just hold all right hold down on that and you can add whatever signature you want I just got to stand signature you can change the fonts and all of that that's cool and you also have your calendar events all right so as you scrolling you have more stuff so now after the calendar events I got uh my main contacts that I use so say I want to order some dinner I just click on five burrows I could either call them or I can send them a message just right from the app hit it go right to the messages all right so now if you want you can leave the secondary display always on or you can have it turn off now LG says that if you leave it on all day for the whole day long it'll only use up 5% of your battery I just like it off when I turn my screen off I just want the whole screen blank also I could uh control my media player play all my music straight from there so that's basically it so I can scroll through all of this stuff but the part that I'm using it the most for is the recently used apps scrolling back and forth from you know different different apps let's go to Facebook again and I'm mainly using it for the notifications all right because this works in um in landscape or portra mode so if you're watching a YouTube video you get your notification right on the side and you want to see that you just click on it and it'll take you right to it whatever notification you got all right so the secondary display it's way more functional than the ones on the Galaxy now if you got a Galaxy Note Edge right the Note Edge now that display that you know the the Note Edge secondary display that one is just as functional as this all right just as functional because you get matter of fact even more functional because you got your information Ticker on the side you use it as a nightclock this one you can do the same thing too but you don't get an information ticker all right so when it comes to secondary displays and you know edges and all that the Note Edge is still a boss as far as functionality but this one actually works the best now if you got a note edge you know that that one lags out in here and there and you know yeah you could activate your flashlight and there's a lot more stuff you could do with the Note Edge one but when it comes to the lag this one is lag free haven't had an issue yet all right so secondary display on this certifi win next fingerprint scanner now the fingerprint scanner on this it does work and it works flawlessly and as much as I don't like the buttons on the back I have to admit I do like having the fingerprint button on the back because you get to that point of your finger it just registers a lot faster now when you're using your thumb like on the Note sometimes you got to manipulate your thumb to the right you know to the right angle I haven't had one miss yet with this fingerprint scanner it works 100% it's a go now all of these phones coming out it's not like maybe last year or the year before where fingerprint scanners yall remember the hc1 Max and Y remember the the first Galaxy scanners you know they was all kind of suspect iPhone basically hadn't unlock well now all of these phones you know the the tech the tech is out there now everybody got their hands on the fingerprint uh scanner Tech so all of these fingerprint scanners work I don't have to waste too much time demonstrating and talking about it it works and it works flawlessly next now this is important this is why say this might be the best allaround phone because you see it got a lot of stuff that that's missing on on certain other phones and it has a lot of the key core features that we like and this is one right here the IR Blaster now I've always been a fan of the IR Blaster some people going to say that that's kind of gimmicky usually it'll be some iPhone Fanboys that think it's kind of gimmicky because they never had it but if you had your Note 4 you know your ACC M9 or M8 whatever phone you had if you had an IR blaster you understand how important that is y know about the remote control wars in the house right if you don't know about that you you'll know about them soon when you when you live with somebody you're going to go through the remote control Wars how you want to watch the game they want to watch Oprah whatever it is look when you they'll let you turn the channel if you especially now you go in the living room if you want but if y'all both in the bed you watching the game quick turn the commercials on turn the Oprah and they turn to Oprah and then that's something's interesting you know you're missing the game they don't want to turn back now you could you don't have to fight over the control you go on your phone pull out your IR Blaster go to your go to your remote app and now you can control the phone now I control your TV or whatever you got set up one of the key features I use this IR blaster for and I'll tell you real quick is I like I like to go to this Diner this specific Diner that I go to you know after I go on a date or something i' like to go grab a quick bite I go to the diner now after you just went on a date you had drinks everything is going fine you want to sit down you want to have a special moment you want to get you know get to know the person a little bit better you want to talk in the dining that I go to they have all of these TVs in there and they have a habit of having the TVs super loud on blast so when you're sitting there there'll be a TV right over your head mad loud you trying to talk and all that and it there be the TV on CNN or you know or something that you're not really interested in when you're trying to sit down and relax pull out your phone if you got your ey Blaster point it to the TV turn the TV off or turn the channel all right so the trolling skills is is the trolling skills is on point if you got a IR Blaster you go to the doctor's office you go to the dentist and you're in the waiting room and they tell you it's going to be about an hour and they got the you know they got the TV set on CNN and you know it's 11:00 it's time for that Jerry Springer you want to see the smackdown pull out your I Blaster turn the channel all right so if you're into heavy trolling you need a i Blaster so lgv10 shout out to them for keeping that ey or blast the game typ I like that next the front-facing camera now this phone does have two front-facing cameras and they do work now one now I'm not going to go into that too into too much detail but I'll just talk about it real quick you got now now for me I'm not a big selfie dude I'm not a big selfie taker but when I'm chilling with my girl or my daughter I become the selfie King this the two cameras right here once you activate one you can do a regular selfie once you activate the second camera you do a wide angle selfie now it's it's the same as on the Galaxy Note 5 you're getting that wide angle but now you don't have to have the phone super duper far extended you don't have to walk around with a selfie stick if you want the real far view there yeah then get a selfie stick but selfie sticks is almost out the window you don't have to have super duper long arms you put on the secondary the second camera on the top and you get a wide angle now also there's some software in there that'll allow you to take three photos at the same time so you could take a close-up selfie a wide angle selfie and a cam a picture from the rear facing camera all at the same time so that's kind of hot so I already know my daughter's birthday coming up we're going to be taking a whole bunch of selfies now when we sitting down I use the wide angle lens or um you know I'd use the multi- angle and I get a whole bunch of whole bunch of pictures Now ladies y definitely going to love the multiple selfies y definitely going to love that because you're taking one close and one far with the same shot so when you're in the bathroom sitting on the sink taking that selfie now you'll be able to come out quicker without having to take five different ones and keep scrolling to find out the one you want to post just take one and you'll see close and wide all right so I like front-facing camera on this that's a nice touch right there some people going to say it's kind of gimmicky but you got to use it you got to use it first and then say it's gimmicky I'm right now I'm going on record and say that it's not a it's not a gimmick when you're taking a selfie by yourself fine but if you're taking a selfie with you and your girl switch to that wide angle shot and you're going to you're going to have a better picture without having to have your arm super duper stretched out and everybody can see that in the self next let's talk about the rear facing camera now now the rear facing camera on this basically the same camera from your G4 let me activate real quick basically the same camera from your G4 but if you notice now right now let's I'm on video you have way more controls okay you got way more controls the camera shoots in 4k and I'm going to go on record right now and say that this is the best video camera that you're going to get on any cell phone right now better than my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus better than my Note 5 better than anything else I got this camera is the best okay you got so many options to play with now if you're not into photography and video videography and all that stuff you might not know about the white balance and the manual focus and the iso and the shutter speeds and all of that but they there they there even if you don't know about it just start playing with it and you'll get the hang of it now you can also change you see I'm recording you see those lights on the top you can also change the levels so while you're recording a video you can you could put the mic level louder in the front or lower in the back depending on what you're doing so say I'm recording two people getting ready to get into a fight and the person on the far end is getting more getting more roast on getting more jokes off and I want to record their jokes more I can switch the mic to the far end and it'll it'll pick up more sound from the far end as opposed to the foreground trust me when I tell you you got to play with this so many feat now when you go on your manual camera same thing you can control everything white balance manual focus ISO you got slow motion all right let's go back to video one more thing I want to show you you can also change let's go to settings you can also change the bit rate you can change the bit rate you can go from 1 frame per second all the way up to 60 frames per second and you got full four uh 4K video okay now you could go on on auto if you want and get rid of all that crazy stuff and just have it regular and just take regular pictures just like that but trust me you see I got a notification so now while I'm in camera mode this is another part where that secondary screen comes into play that will turn into your let's go to uh camera real quick now you could use the secondary display to zoom in and out but what I like about it is while I'm in camera mode I'm still getting my notifications I can just click on it and go straight to a notification this also has a lot of editing software let's go to snap you can go to snap real quick you can assemble a short video clips in a six you could let me let me say that again you can assemble short video clips into a 60-second short film all right so you could this is this is just a lot of fun y'all remember uh what was HTC Zoe kind of like Zoe So you take a whole bunch of pictures and a whole bunch of little video clips you make it into a quick movie then you could quickly share it to somebody has a lot of sharing tools on this play with it for yourself trust me when I tell you this is but look even if you don't know about all that stuff and you don't care about all that stuff this is all you need to know this is the best video camera that's on the market right now period okay I'm going on record yall know I got everything out this is the best video camera on the market now with the Ste photos we could debate back and forth whether it's the Galaxy line or whether it's this but when it comes to video and especially 4K video ain't nothing touching the V10 right now nothing let's keep it going next now you got expandable memory keep in mind when you buy this phone it only comes with 64 gigs of storage that's the only option available but you do have a removable micro SD card so that's crazy right there all right that's a great feature that's something that I'm missing on the Note 5 even though you know there's a lot of you know fixes around that but I there's nothing better than being able to just take your phone back off or take a little opening on the side and drop a Micro SD card in now you could put all these big giant you know micro SD cards if you want but right now you get a 64 gig micro SD card on Amazon for 15 bucks and um maybe $15 $20 and the average person that's all you're going to need 64 gig phone with a 64 gig memory card you're good to go now if you like me and you got a whole bunch of micro SD cards lying around from years ago this is a good feature every now and then when I'm in the airport or I'm somewhere waiting around and I'm bored especially when I'm in the airport I like to just pull out some old micro SD cards pop them in and look at pictures and videos of stuff that I was doing from years ago just to give me some good memories all right so my having a expandable memory that's a plus and especially if you're using all of this videography tools and you're shooting in 4k you're going to need that you're going to need that that's why I don't make a lot of 4K phone videos because it eats up so much memory but if you got a phone that has expandable memory you could shoot shoot a long 4K video directly to that uh to that micro SD card switch it out and your phone is good to go again all right so having a Micro SD card is a major plus major major plus next now I already told y'all the speakers the speakers on the bottom not the best not trash but not the best okay not the best but I will say this if you if you get this phone now let me show you you plug in your headphones all right now these are the headphones that it came with these headphones sound great if you plug in your headphones let's go to settings real quick you see you got high- five now if you try to activate this now it won't work it'll only work with your headphones on once you plug your headphones in and you activate high-fi you're getting way better sound if you had a HTC M9 yall remember when you use boom sound it increases the Basse it it increases the treble it makes it a little bit louder this phone does the same thing now I'm not going to say you plug your headphones and you're going to get blown away like oh my God this is insane it's not you're not going to get blown off your feet okay but you will notice the difference now you using these headphones you'll notice the difference and they'll sound good but if you want to get the best effect get a nice set now I did this the other day I was using my monster 24 K get some audio technical get whatever you want get a nice set of quality headphones plug them in and turn on high-fi and then you might be blown off your feet with the monster 24 K with all that serious Bas I was I'm not going to say like I'm not going to say I was blown out of my shoes but I was highly impressed I think it sounded better than the HTC boom sound this one sounded a little bit better all right so the highi on this that's a win next let's talk about multitasking now this phone has real multitasking okay now I get into arguments with people all the time people with iPhones when I say that your iPhone doesn't have real multitasking this phone has real multitasking now let's talk about that real quick when I say multitasking I mean this all right let me show you what I mean by multitasking let's hit the button let's do dual Windows right so this is multitasking right here let's open up YouTube and let's open up Chrome at the same time okay so multitasking the word by definition means doing two tasks at the same time if you're at work and your boss tells you I need you to multitask I need you to make this phone call and check this email at the same time multitasking doesn't mean hitting that recently used apps button and going from one app hitting it back and going to the next that's not multitasking that's doing two things quickly that's the same as if you was on the phone and you put the phone down send the email pick the phone back up yeah what you doing put the phone back send that's some people might say that's multitasking but that's not real multitasking real multitasking is holding the phone in your hand and type in the email so while you're talking on the phone you type in the email you're doing two things at the same exact time and that's what you could do with this this is real multitasking so I could be watching a YouTube video and I could be on Amazon at the same time time so I'm watching a YouTube video and I'm on Amazon shopping at the same exact time that's multitasking okay and once you hit multitasking you got your same features you could swap them up and down you could uh excuse me you can open another app you hit that button you can resize it let's um let me get let me get out of there real quick you can resize this up and down so I got YouTube bigger got Amazon smaller on the top or you could just close it up open one or close one out all together right just like that let's sit back and now I'm back on Amazon all right so that's real multitasking the phone does it flawlessly no problems at all all right so I'm feeling that I need multitasking I can't be going back and forth I want to be on YouTube and now this is what people with iPhones do and they you know they want to debate with me all the time they on Amazon they want to go to YouTube then they click and go back to YouTube That's not multitasking I'm sorry okay it's really not next I'm sorry I just have I got I got to talk about this stuff all right next motions and Gestures all right now this phone does have your favorite LG gestures such as the double tap to open the screen okay you got that you got the um let's let's turn it back off if you double tap the power button that'll take you directly to your camera let's turn it back off one more time you double tap the top of the volume up button that'll take you to your memo go write a quick quick memo call Mike at three and you can save that you can share it do whatever you want write a quick memo you can double tap to turn the screen off and you still got your KN codes right now I love the KN codes even though once you get a fingerprint scanner you're probably not going to want to use that but the knock codes is just something that's fun when you want you know you set it up and you knock knock a different pattern to turn your phone on so you still got all your favorite LG motions and Gestures I'm glad they didn't take away none of that stuff doesn't cause any lag so why not keep it next let's talk about the UI now yall heard me say during the unboxing video that LG has one of my favorite UI it's crystal clear everything is smooth it's very user friendly if you even if you go to your like your smart bulletin everything in it has little directions little shows you how to use it if you a noob and you don't you never used any of this stuff before real easy to figure out I love all the icons I love how you can customize everything like let me show you without even having to root your phone it does have themes and all that you know that's pretty much standard nowadays everything got themes but check this out say I want to change the icon without downloading any icon packs or without you know doing nothing fancy say I want to change swarm I just hold it down and you see that little paintbrush that pops up I click on the paintbrush and now I have different icons that I can add right there or I can add new let's add new I can make my own icon all right so if I want to let's just see I go to uh let's go to capture say I want to guess who beat the Falcons this year all right that's a good one say I want to have that as my official I could um oh not not enough space all right well that's a that that's a swarm app but I made it too big all right I made it big but this is just one app let me let's let's try it again I made it gigantic let let me let make it more all right so say I want to do a Four Square app I want to change this to let's say say um this little weather icon let's H okay now 4 square is that weather icon and let me just show you now let's do YouTube If I want to make my own let's see let's add new let's try that again this time we'll we We'll add this one right here we'll add this little meme this guy right here and you see that's my new YouTube app all right so that was my first time playing with this one too I didn't know if you make it that big you make one big giant app that's kind of that that's kind of cool too I got to play with that I like that all right so very customizable even the buttons on the bottom now this is not the stock setup let me show you how to change that real quick you go to settings right you go to display go to home touch buttons now when you go to home touch buttons you can change the button combination all right so I could put the back button in the middle if I want it I could put the home button first I can have a multitask button I can have a notification button I don't really use that but if you want to you can have a notification button a dedicated button that you just press and it'll bring your notification bar down now ladies might use that cuz this is a big giant phone so if if you got small hands and it's hard for you to hold the phone and reach to the top have a little notification button down on the side you can also change the color from Black or White now I leave it on black since I got black backgrounds but depending on what color background you want you can change that and if you look how I change mine I got a back button I got one button that'll take me to automatic multitasking I got my home button now this right here this is one of my favorite buttons and one of my favorite parts of this LG UI and I show you why let's go on Instagram real quick let's um let's go home on Instagram let's find something real quick all right now say I want to get say I'm scrolling down my timeline and somebody got a funny meme that I really want all I got to do is press this button right here and this is going to do a quick screenshot right so let me wait for that like to go away all here we'll do it like this I'll press this button right here that'll do a quick screenshot so you see it opened up the note if I want I could write directly onto this or I hit that little square right here and I'll I'll resize this I just crop this just like this I hit share and share it right to Instagram now I can repost that Meme directly to Instagram now the only uh downside to that is you're using your finger now if you're using the Galaxy Note and you're using the S Pen you're going to be able to manipulate right to the little corner that you want you're going to be able to get a better you know uh crop out using your finger it's going to take a little bit more effort but you can still get the same kind of crop out but that's the button right there you just that's the way I got mine set up immediate screenshot just start writing on the screen crop paste share do whatever I want so I like that and I also got the recently used apps button okay now from here you could just get rid of each one you can activate your dual window or you could just clear them all out just like that so LG's UI straightforward really smooth highly customizable it's a win all right certified win let me just add something real quick right here because it's kind of messing up my vision there we go all right next we almost done fellas next the lag Factor now on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being 10 being zero lag at all and one being every time you scroll the phone lags every time you scroll that's one on a scale of 1 to 10 with lag Factor I'm giving this phone a 9 and a half all right now I've seen very very little close to no close to no lag only time I got a little bit of lag as you seen even just now when I when I set up that little app there was a little bit of Hiccup sometimes when you making uh changes to the phone and you making changes to the UI when you're adding custom icons and you're doing stuff it'll lag for a second but after that it's gone all right so I got it now this is another part of the UI you can change the you know you can change the transitions so I got it set on this fancy one look how nice that looks though remember before you had to root your phone to get all this kind of fancy stuff even if you downloaded Nova launch and all that it never you know Nova Launcher sometimes was was making your phone lag worse than what it was worth now all of this stuff is stock features and this is hot I so I got it set up like this that's part of LG's UI no lag at all so I would say 9.5 which will be the same as saying basically no lag no lag at all now I only been using the phone for maybe about a week and a half almost two weeks and like I said I've only seen it lag once or twice so once or twice is basically like saying no lag because you're talking about a gadget and especially a dude like me that um I got all these apps open at the same time you know I'm getting a, one notifications all day I got all of my email accounts I got everything built into this phone for it not to lag that 4 gigs of RAM and the way that LG found a way to you know increase the RAM management now some people say the Note 5 they don't like the RAM management but to be honest I haven't had any lag on my Note 5 either so Note 5 9.5 V10 9.5 on the lag Factor scale all right so no lag on this one thing also let me just mention about LG's UI one of my favorite things is their lock screens you see now I got it set to this U MO moic one but usually I use the soda pop lock screen let me see I think I got that on my G4 soda pop lock screen you hear the sound and you hear that like a fresh can of soda opening up and even when you close it you hear that little click love that you got that on the V10 too I just been lately I've been using this Mosaic one this one has sound to it too I got the sound off this is that's this part of LG's UI very fun very customizable you're going to have a good time with next last but not least the floss Factor right now if you never seen my video before and you know know what the floss fact is that means when you got your V10 and you pull it out and you're sitting at a bar you're sitting at a restaurant you're sitting with your boys and this is what this is one that's going to come into play the most when you're at work and with your when you with your boys all of the iPhone uh iPhone Fanboys and all of your boys that got note 5s and S6 Edge pluses and whatever phone you got when you pull out your V10 are you sitting on top of the food chain or do you have to put your phone back in your pocket cuz somebody got a note 5 on Deck then you got to wait for them to leave and then now you the man again okay so when you're walking around with the V10 are you a heavy hitter are you considered that dude when it comes to the tech you know what's your status all right so floss Factor on this on the scale of 1 to 10 10 being you know off of the charts I would give this I would give this a nine all right I give this a nine On The Floss Factor first of all it's brand new so if you got this one right here no nobody got it yet so yeah you'll be sitting heavy but when it does come out people going to have it you will be able to get the herbane 2 watch so you will be able to have a nice match and watch that's going to increase the level a little bit more but the main thing that's taken away from this is the rubber back that's taken a little bit away from the floss fact on this the rubber back because when somebody pulls out that note and yall both Rock a no case the note just looks a little bit better and if somebody pulls out at 6 Edge Plus with this gold back GL listening in the sun look at it for yourself which one just looks better now we're not talking about when I come to when it when I talk about fla Factor we not talking about which phone works better we're just talking about which one just has that look now I know some some of yall don't care about that but some people do some people a phone is is not only just a phone but it's your it's part of your fashion that's why a lot of people go out and get the rose gold iPhone with the rose gold watch and all that it's not just about the phone it's the fashion and you you know you want to get them compliments you want to be known as that dude when I pull out my S6 Edge Plus with no case all right if I want to Blind you all I got to do is wait till the Sun reflect at a certain angle hit it at a 37° angle and I can literally blind you all right so nothing is beating the S6 Edge Plus when it comes to the floss Factor this is the best looking and feeling phone to me on the market right now with the curv display when you hold this phone in your hand it's the best looking and feeling phone right now on the market second to that is the Note 5 and now a lot of L of people not a fan of the glass backs and all that they say it's a little more fragile but if you don't got butter fingers you're not really worried about that or if you got insurance in your phone then you're not worried about that either if you just want to pay 800 you know 750 800 850 900 for a phone and you want that premium build and you're going to hold it and you want to feel it yeah then note series all day don't get me wrong though this is this is right there this is right behind that this has a great look and feel to it 10 times better than the G4 even the G4 with the leather back now with the leatherback G4 floss factor I would still I probably go with the leather back this one probably might take a little bit more time to grow me but one thing that's good about this one is it does have a removable back so hopefully some aftermarket companies will come out with some different kind of backs that you could choose from maybe some leather backs maybe a a a solid metal Snap-on back who knows but the the options are there just right now nothing I I've been browsing around I didn't see nothing yet but they'll probably come out with a nice leather back and that will increase the floss factor to this through the roof now one thing I forgot to mention this phone does have fast charge okay so no Wireless charge that's a probably a little downfall for me but it does have fast charge so with the provided cable that came in the Box I was able to charge this phone from completely zero completely shut off zero it took 72 minutes I had a little timer setup it took me 72 minutes so that's just about a little more than an hour to charge from 0o to 100% all right so 70 to 72 minutes so fast charge on this does work now everybody's going to ask me what's my favorite phone out right now I already told y the G the the the V10 is probably the best allaround phone that you could get if you was getting ready to go out and buy a G4 do not do it now if you already got a G4 you don't have to R you know run and trade it in and go get this one because basically it's not too much upgrades you're basically getting the better front-facing camera the dual cameras you're getting that extra screen on the top which is a big deal you're getting more controls with the video camera and and the steel picture camera you're getting more options and more features to play with if you don't use that then who cares other than that for point and shoot basically the same camera you're getting a Better Built phone okay so if you already got a G4 you might as well just keep it but if you was about to buy a G4 do not do it wait and get a V10 then again let's wait for the price tooo because if the G4 is going to run you 700 and this one's going to run you 900 it might not it might not be it might not be worth it for you to spend an extra $200 for those little bit of features now I'm pretty sure there's going to be if you root your phones and all that they'll have some way to add that little secondary window as a rooted as a rooted UI I'm pretty sure even though it's going to make your your your standard screen a little bit smaller if you root it and add a secondary screen it's going to make it a little bit smaller but if that's something that looks appealing to you which is definitely appealing to me if I was getting ready to buy a G4 right now I would definitely wait and get a V10 now what's my favorite phone on the market right now my number one top dog heavy hitter phone it's still the Note 5 it's still a note 5 I know there's no IR Blaster there's no removable battery there's no micro SD card expandable memory I know this but for me it's all about the S Pen all right now if the V10 had a S Pen if the V10 had wireless charging and the S Pen I would go on record right now and say without a doubt it's the best phone on the planet without a doubt it has everything but for me like I said I got I already spent too much money on all of these Wireless charges I got them placed everywhere I got one in the bathroom I got them placed everywhere so when I go when whever I'm at I can just put my phone down for a minute and I'm always I'm always charging up I need that feature now when the V10 comes out with the slim Power Cards and all that we'll play with that and we'll see how how it works and we'll see if it charges is fast or not but the main thing that's that's making me keep my Note 5 as my number one heavy hitter is the S Pen and let me show you one of the features I use with my Spen the most the same way I showed y'all on Instagram just now all right so say let me scroll let's scroll on Instagram let's see if we can find something all right look all right so let's say I got this meme right here and y'all know if y'all watch my Instagram memes is what I do all right let me show you how I how I do the memes real quick I go in smart select I use my S S Pen and with the S Pen you could get a better better crop so I crop it just like that I hit share let me go let me take it right to Instagram did I click it let's go right to Instagram and now I can just hit this right on Instagram right now I did it I did it slow right now cuz I'm behind the camera but and you know real life day-to-day action I'm doing that all day quickly and especially now if y'all I don't know how many of y'all on Facebook but if you're on Facebook are you one of those kind of people that when y when you're in the comment section do you like to leave a picture comment or do you like to leave you know word comments people tagging me on Facebook videos and pictures all day long I never leave comments I like to leave memes or I like to just you know whatever whatever the topic is if I just want to have somebody laughing I quickly Google Google picture of a man laughing and I pull out my S Pen I do the crop and and upload it just like that once you get the hang of doing that with the S Pen it's going to be hard to do it with your V10 with your finger it's going to be a little bit tricky trying to get to that little corner with the S Pen that that's the S Pen is the main reason why the Note 5 will always be my top phone so my order right now will be Note 5 V10 and then S6 Edge Plus then after that we'll get the Nexus and we'll get the you know or iPhone 6 and we we'll fool around but right now these are the three top dogs on the market right now and the V10 might be the best all around but if you don't care about the Spen you'll never use it then you want to get a V10 all right so the purpose of this video now the video is over the purpose of this video is just a this is just a review from my personal opinion right everything I said right here is Up For Debate nothing is facts some people going to say they got 6 hours out of battery life some people going to say they got 7 hours whatever some people going to say they love the rubber back some people are going to say oh check out this drop test video and all that look I'm just giving you my personal opinion the whole point of this video is to help you when you're getting ready to spend your hard-earned money on a new phone so take everything I said put it in consideration and to go watch another 20 different videos and if you see everybody saying that the battery is trash then chances are it's trash if I'm saying it's trash and the next 20 people saying they love the battery then maybe I don't know what I'm talking for the Amazon Warriors we outyo what's up everybody it's your boy flaws back again with another video and today we're going to do the full review of the LG V10 now shout out to everybody who watch my videos you know once I get a phone I usually wait about a week and then I give yall a real review from a real consumer's point of view but since this is a prototype phone that's not even out yet we got to review it for what it is a prototype right now with that being said just like any of my other videos let me start off with everything that I don't like first and then we'll get into everything that I do like now even before we get into everything I don't like let me just say this this phone right here the LG V10 might be without a doubt the best allaround phone on the market period now is it my top phone well it's missing a few things that's going to put it into my top spot but it's definitely in the top three all right this phone is a certified heavy hitter now let's talk about what I don't like first number one the buttons on the back now I know this is not a big deal but I just don't like the button placement on the back if you're coming from an iPhone or you're coming from a Samsung or Motorola HTC and you're used to buttons on the side it's going to be a little learning curve getting used to the buttons on the back I'm just not a big fan of that I never have since the G3 since the G4 I I I never been a fan of buttons on the back now don't get me wrong the buttons on the back they do function in a certain way we'll we'll we'll talk about that there's some pluses to having buttons on the back there's some pluses such as when you're taking a screenshot it's so easy to just press both buttons at the same time yeah that's a nice little touch and also with the fingerprint scanner I like it on the back but as far as far as volume up and down on the back and some of the motion controls on the back I'm just not a big fan of that never have been never will be next the rubber back now this is kind of important I'm not a fan of the rubber back at all now don't get me wrong this phone is built as aable you know drop tested proof uh proven phone yeah and the rubber back it definitely gives it some grip and it feels good but it kind of takes away from that premium feel now you got the beautiful metal on the sides the phone just looks gorgeous it has a premium feel to it except for the back now I prefer the phones to have a glass back aluminum you know aluminum back metal back leather back anything but this rubberish you know kind of feeling back I'm not a fan of that now if you got a premium feeling phone yeah when when you're in the house or you somewhere when you don't have to worry about dropping your phone take off your case and now you got that beautiful premium feeling phone in your hand that you just spent x amount of money for you want to feel that at some point now when you want to go somewhere to the gym or you want to go somewhere where your phone is going to be in a dangerous situation then you just drop a case on it and now you get that rubberish feel to it now with the with the V10 you're stuck with that rubberish feel once you put a case on top of this it's going to feel even less premium all right so I'm not feeling a rubber back at all even though it does give you some nice grip some people going to disagree you know if you don't use cases yeah you might like that but I prefer to have a premium feeling phone front and back next the battery now the battery on this phone is a little bit suspect you're getting 3,000 mlia battery but I'm an internet Warrior all right I use the phone heavy I use the phone all of the time I like to have my phone on maximum brightness all when I go outside I'm in the I'm in the sunlight all of the time I like to have maximum brightness on the phone I got about 4 hours maybe a little bit more than 4 hours of heavy usage before I had to plug the phone back in right so that's a little bit suspect now with my Galaxy Note 5 I'm getting a little bit over 5 hours that's still that's not the best either but it's a little bit better than this now this does have a removable battery so you know we'll talk about that later but I'm not really feeling the battery too much if your internet Warrior heavy use status you're not going to like you're not going to get a full day at all now you can get a full day using battery saving tips if you use the phone moderately then you're definitely going to get a full day you're not going to have to worry about that but you know if you're using the phone all day long watching movies on YouTube Twitter Instagram all day long four hours later get ready to look for a plug next the speakers now this phone has better uh better speaker placement than the G4 they took it from the back and put it on the bottom but the speaker on this phone is not not even close to being the best if you had a Nexus 6 or you had a HTC M9 and you like those you know front-facing speakers that give you that loud sound once you get this phone you're going to notice that you took a step back now I did a side by-side test Galaxy Note 5 speakers a little bit louder all right now don't get me wrong the speaker is not trash I'm not going to say it's trash but it's definitely not even close to being the best definitely not at all next no wireless charging now that might not be a big deal for you and I'm pretty sure that they will have some power cars that you can attach to the battery but we're talking about as is stock right now no wireless charging that's a big deal for me all right now if y'all watch my videos you see I got a,1 wireless chargers laying around all over the place I got them strategically placed in my office and all throughout the house when I get it when I get somewhere I like to just put my phone down and let it start charging no why is necessary now wireless charging it is kind of the you know kind of the thing of the future all of the new phones coming out with wireless charging some of them ain't but I prefer wireless charging you know we you know let's let's let's keep up with the times I like to get somewhere yall see I got all of these little Che Stone charges I got about four of these laying around all over the place I like to just turn this on put my phone down and let it start charging up no wires no cables none of that stuff to worry about is that the biggest deal in the world not really but you know got to mention that last but not least one of the things now this is not proven yet but I just got to mention this the price now LG hasn't confirmed the price yet but basically they said it's going to cost more than the G4 now a phone like this with all of these Flagship features and specs and especially with the build quality I'd go on record right now I'll eat these words if I'm wrong but I I guarantee you this phone is not going to cost one cent less than $800 now if it does like I said I I'll make a straight up apology video I'll eat these words live on camera but I can tell you for a fact this phone is probably going to cost more than $800 I don't like that I don't like that at all because when this phone does come out depending on which carrier it's available I'm probably going to get it because it's definitely heavy hitter I already know I'm not going to like spending $800 or more now if you bought a S6 Edge plus you know you spent close to $1,000 or $900 depending on which model you got yeah I understand you got to pay to play but if y'all watch my old videos I was just happen to be breezing through one earlier of um ACC touch and palm Prix and all that I was um kind of bitching about the price and those phones was $4 $500 so now you got these phones coming out they almost cracking $1,000 that's too high especially when when companies are coming out with phones every year and they pushing them on to us they want us to upgrade $11,000 or $800 that's just too high all of these phones even with all the specs and stuff these phones should be running about $500 $600 at Max $800 $900 I don't like that will I still pay it of course but I don't like it now with all of that said let's talk about everything that I do like and like I said this might be without a doubt the best allaround phone in the market just it just can't be my number one go-to phone but this is probably the best allaround phone in the market let's talk about what I do like first up the name all right V10 shout out to everybody that rock with the car clubs and all of that y'all already know now I'm just fooling around but the V10 name that's pretty badass if you're a car lover like me you know what the v10s is all about I like that now let's get serious the colors here number two the color this is rose gold okay not that that you see on the iPhone 6s plus that's pink he that's pink this is how rose gold is supposed to look the color scheme on this phone looks beautiful I the rose gold with this kind of creamish off tan kind of coll I forgot the specific name that LG is calling this looks kind of like cream but the gold the rose gold tones accents coupled with the headphones color on this looks beautiful now I seen that they coming out with the blue one and the black one when this one comes out this will probably be the color that I do end up getting right cuz I'm definitely feeling this one you know I like the gold phones I actually almost like this rose gold better than the gold tone that's on the S6 Edge Plus I think I like this rose gold one a little bit better next the build quality now the build quality on this superb not a big fan of the rubber back but it does serve its purpose as making the phone durable now if y'all watch my Amazon Warrior video from Sunday night y'all seen me put this phone to the test now if you look at the display let's turn this on real quick if you look at the display you see no scratches at all Gorilla Glass all right this is real gorilla glass no scratches at all look at the sides no dents and if y'all watch that video how many times did I slam that phone down during the Amazon war video maybe 30 and y'all know I was drinking I was kind of drunk and all that so I was extra heavy-handed I was almost putting this phone through the table I dropped this phone all over the place no scratches at all this phone is super heavy duty all right so if if if you're going to get this phone and not use a case you're not going to have a problem you won't even need a case with this phone you won't even need one trust me all right so the gorilla glass does work a lot of times now you read Gorilla Glass on paper and then you turn around and put your phone in your pocket with your keys and you notice you got a scratch on the front of your phone I had my little knife I was scratching in the phone you know the front of this because it's a you know prototype phone got to put it to the test normally now if I spend $1,000 on the phone I'll wait to see if it gets scratched naturally but on a prototype phone I'm beating this thing into the ground I was scratching the front up no damage at all I slammed it and dropped it no damage so this is a durable phone right here no problems at all next the display now this phone right here you got the 5. uh 7 in display with the little extra you know secondary screen on the top without even getting into ppis and resolution and all that stuff the display on this phone is beautiful beautiful now personally I prefer AMOLED displays let me show you something real quick let me grab my S6 Edge Plus now I personally I got both of these phones on maximum brightness I don't know if the camera is going to do it any justice but if you look closely you'll see that the whites are a little bit brighter a little bit whiter on the G uh on the uh V10 but the blacks are a lot Blacker with the AMOLED displays on the Note Series so me personally I like the AMOLED displays but the display on the V10 is beautiful now I got this phone on maximum brightness the display is crispy you're going to see all the colors no wash outs everything just looks bright and glorious fantastic take any fancy word and just slap it right after that this display is it's hitting right this is this this is one of those real displays right let leave it like that this is a real display Quad HD and all that you might not know what that means doesn't matter just look at it with the naked eye this might be one of the best looking uh displays that you're going to look at all right so the display is a win now let's talk about the secondary display right now I'm feeling that too that's the next thing I'm feeling is the secondary display this is how it's supposed to work now if you got yourself a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge Plus look at the's let's let's take a look at the secondary display on this one if you want to call it that or the curve the curve display when I scroll over on my S6 Edge Plus I could go to different apps or I could just you know call different people or send them a text message that's pretty much it so it some people may say it's kind of gimmicky even though it does work it does work when you want to call somebody or when you want to open an app it works but other than that it's pretty useless it's just there for show now the secondary display on your V10 if you notice I'm getting notifications at the top but this one works and when you get your notification you see that a little notification popped up it doesn't it's it's very it's not obtrusive like when you're get in that usual big banner notifications on all your other phones this one is just right in a little corner and you can just swipe it away or you can tap it to open that app up now the secondary display like let's see um I don't want to open that one look Instagram I tap on that Instagram will just pop up shout out to the New York Mets all right we back in the deck now let's let's stay focused let's go through the secondary display now you see I got some apps right here I could just let me I'm getting too many notifications all right I can I got the way I got it set up right now you can fully customize it the way you want but I got it set up where I got my my note app screenshot take a quick note I got the clock the calendar LG's Fitness fitness app and then you go to settings if I scroll over next now this acts as your recently used apps so now let's say let's say I open up Instagram right now from there if I want to open up Facebook I just click on the Facebook and open up Facebook I want to go back to Instagram click on it go right back to Instagram you see how it switched over let's go to Facebook watch it switch over switches over so these are your recently used apps okay let's keep it moving next you got now this is just a little display right here you could you could customize just hold all right hold down on that and you can add whatever signature you want I just got to stand signature you can change the fonts and all of that that's cool and you also have your calendar events all right so as you scrolling you have more stuff so now after the calendar events I got uh my main contacts that I use so say I want to order some dinner I just click on five burrows I could either call them or I can send them a message just right from the app hit it go right to the messages all right so now if you want you can leave the secondary display always on or you can have it turn off now LG says that if you leave it on all day for the whole day long it'll only use up 5% of your battery I just like it off when I turn my screen off I just want the whole screen blank also I could uh control my media player play all my music straight from there so that's basically it so I can scroll through all of this stuff but the part that I'm using it the most for is the recently used apps scrolling back and forth from you know different different apps let's go to Facebook again and I'm mainly using it for the notifications all right because this works in um in landscape or portra mode so if you're watching a YouTube video you get your notification right on the side and you want to see that you just click on it and it'll take you right to it whatever notification you got all right so the secondary display it's way more functional than the ones on the Galaxy now if you got a Galaxy Note Edge right the Note Edge now that display that you know the the Note Edge secondary display that one is just as functional as this all right just as functional because you get matter of fact even more functional because you got your information Ticker on the side you use it as a nightclock this one you can do the same thing too but you don't get an information ticker all right so when it comes to secondary displays and you know edges and all that the Note Edge is still a boss as far as functionality but this one actually works the best now if you got a note edge you know that that one lags out in here and there and you know yeah you could activate your flashlight and there's a lot more stuff you could do with the Note Edge one but when it comes to the lag this one is lag free haven't had an issue yet all right so secondary display on this certifi win next fingerprint scanner now the fingerprint scanner on this it does work and it works flawlessly and as much as I don't like the buttons on the back I have to admit I do like having the fingerprint button on the back because you get to that point of your finger it just registers a lot faster now when you're using your thumb like on the Note sometimes you got to manipulate your thumb to the right you know to the right angle I haven't had one miss yet with this fingerprint scanner it works 100% it's a go now all of these phones coming out it's not like maybe last year or the year before where fingerprint scanners yall remember the hc1 Max and Y remember the the first Galaxy scanners you know they was all kind of suspect iPhone basically hadn't unlock well now all of these phones you know the the tech the tech is out there now everybody got their hands on the fingerprint uh scanner Tech so all of these fingerprint scanners work I don't have to waste too much time demonstrating and talking about it it works and it works flawlessly next now this is important this is why say this might be the best allaround phone because you see it got a lot of stuff that that's missing on on certain other phones and it has a lot of the key core features that we like and this is one right here the IR Blaster now I've always been a fan of the IR Blaster some people going to say that that's kind of gimmicky usually it'll be some iPhone Fanboys that think it's kind of gimmicky because they never had it but if you had your Note 4 you know your ACC M9 or M8 whatever phone you had if you had an IR blaster you understand how important that is y know about the remote control wars in the house right if you don't know about that you you'll know about them soon when you when you live with somebody you're going to go through the remote control Wars how you want to watch the game they want to watch Oprah whatever it is look when you they'll let you turn the channel if you especially now you go in the living room if you want but if y'all both in the bed you watching the game quick turn the commercials on turn the Oprah and they turn to Oprah and then that's something's interesting you know you're missing the game they don't want to turn back now you could you don't have to fight over the control you go on your phone pull out your IR Blaster go to your go to your remote app and now you can control the phone now I control your TV or whatever you got set up one of the key features I use this IR blaster for and I'll tell you real quick is I like I like to go to this Diner this specific Diner that I go to you know after I go on a date or something i' like to go grab a quick bite I go to the diner now after you just went on a date you had drinks everything is going fine you want to sit down you want to have a special moment you want to get you know get to know the person a little bit better you want to talk in the dining that I go to they have all of these TVs in there and they have a habit of having the TVs super loud on blast so when you're sitting there there'll be a TV right over your head mad loud you trying to talk and all that and it there be the TV on CNN or you know or something that you're not really interested in when you're trying to sit down and relax pull out your phone if you got your ey Blaster point it to the TV turn the TV off or turn the channel all right so the trolling skills is is the trolling skills is on point if you got a IR Blaster you go to the doctor's office you go to the dentist and you're in the waiting room and they tell you it's going to be about an hour and they got the you know they got the TV set on CNN and you know it's 11:00 it's time for that Jerry Springer you want to see the smackdown pull out your I Blaster turn the channel all right so if you're into heavy trolling you need a i Blaster so lgv10 shout out to them for keeping that ey or blast the game typ I like that next the front-facing camera now this phone does have two front-facing cameras and they do work now one now I'm not going to go into that too into too much detail but I'll just talk about it real quick you got now now for me I'm not a big selfie dude I'm not a big selfie taker but when I'm chilling with my girl or my daughter I become the selfie King this the two cameras right here once you activate one you can do a regular selfie once you activate the second camera you do a wide angle selfie now it's it's the same as on the Galaxy Note 5 you're getting that wide angle but now you don't have to have the phone super duper far extended you don't have to walk around with a selfie stick if you want the real far view there yeah then get a selfie stick but selfie sticks is almost out the window you don't have to have super duper long arms you put on the secondary the second camera on the top and you get a wide angle now also there's some software in there that'll allow you to take three photos at the same time so you could take a close-up selfie a wide angle selfie and a cam a picture from the rear facing camera all at the same time so that's kind of hot so I already know my daughter's birthday coming up we're going to be taking a whole bunch of selfies now when we sitting down I use the wide angle lens or um you know I'd use the multi- angle and I get a whole bunch of whole bunch of pictures Now ladies y definitely going to love the multiple selfies y definitely going to love that because you're taking one close and one far with the same shot so when you're in the bathroom sitting on the sink taking that selfie now you'll be able to come out quicker without having to take five different ones and keep scrolling to find out the one you want to post just take one and you'll see close and wide all right so I like front-facing camera on this that's a nice touch right there some people going to say it's kind of gimmicky but you got to use it you got to use it first and then say it's gimmicky I'm right now I'm going on record and say that it's not a it's not a gimmick when you're taking a selfie by yourself fine but if you're taking a selfie with you and your girl switch to that wide angle shot and you're going to you're going to have a better picture without having to have your arm super duper stretched out and everybody can see that in the self next let's talk about the rear facing camera now now the rear facing camera on this basically the same camera from your G4 let me activate real quick basically the same camera from your G4 but if you notice now right now let's I'm on video you have way more controls okay you got way more controls the camera shoots in 4k and I'm going to go on record right now and say that this is the best video camera that you're going to get on any cell phone right now better than my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus better than my Note 5 better than anything else I got this camera is the best okay you got so many options to play with now if you're not into photography and video videography and all that stuff you might not know about the white balance and the manual focus and the iso and the shutter speeds and all of that but they there they there even if you don't know about it just start playing with it and you'll get the hang of it now you can also change you see I'm recording you see those lights on the top you can also change the levels so while you're recording a video you can you could put the mic level louder in the front or lower in the back depending on what you're doing so say I'm recording two people getting ready to get into a fight and the person on the far end is getting more getting more roast on getting more jokes off and I want to record their jokes more I can switch the mic to the far end and it'll it'll pick up more sound from the far end as opposed to the foreground trust me when I tell you you got to play with this so many feat now when you go on your manual camera same thing you can control everything white balance manual focus ISO you got slow motion all right let's go back to video one more thing I want to show you you can also change let's go to settings you can also change the bit rate you can change the bit rate you can go from 1 frame per second all the way up to 60 frames per second and you got full four uh 4K video okay now you could go on on auto if you want and get rid of all that crazy stuff and just have it regular and just take regular pictures just like that but trust me you see I got a notification so now while I'm in camera mode this is another part where that secondary screen comes into play that will turn into your let's go to uh camera real quick now you could use the secondary display to zoom in and out but what I like about it is while I'm in camera mode I'm still getting my notifications I can just click on it and go straight to a notification this also has a lot of editing software let's go to snap you can go to snap real quick you can assemble a short video clips in a six you could let me let me say that again you can assemble short video clips into a 60-second short film all right so you could this is this is just a lot of fun y'all remember uh what was HTC Zoe kind of like Zoe So you take a whole bunch of pictures and a whole bunch of little video clips you make it into a quick movie then you could quickly share it to somebody has a lot of sharing tools on this play with it for yourself trust me when I tell you this is but look even if you don't know about all that stuff and you don't care about all that stuff this is all you need to know this is the best video camera that's on the market right now period okay I'm going on record yall know I got everything out this is the best video camera on the market now with the Ste photos we could debate back and forth whether it's the Galaxy line or whether it's this but when it comes to video and especially 4K video ain't nothing touching the V10 right now nothing let's keep it going next now you got expandable memory keep in mind when you buy this phone it only comes with 64 gigs of storage that's the only option available but you do have a removable micro SD card so that's crazy right there all right that's a great feature that's something that I'm missing on the Note 5 even though you know there's a lot of you know fixes around that but I there's nothing better than being able to just take your phone back off or take a little opening on the side and drop a Micro SD card in now you could put all these big giant you know micro SD cards if you want but right now you get a 64 gig micro SD card on Amazon for 15 bucks and um maybe $15 $20 and the average person that's all you're going to need 64 gig phone with a 64 gig memory card you're good to go now if you like me and you got a whole bunch of micro SD cards lying around from years ago this is a good feature every now and then when I'm in the airport or I'm somewhere waiting around and I'm bored especially when I'm in the airport I like to just pull out some old micro SD cards pop them in and look at pictures and videos of stuff that I was doing from years ago just to give me some good memories all right so my having a expandable memory that's a plus and especially if you're using all of this videography tools and you're shooting in 4k you're going to need that you're going to need that that's why I don't make a lot of 4K phone videos because it eats up so much memory but if you got a phone that has expandable memory you could shoot shoot a long 4K video directly to that uh to that micro SD card switch it out and your phone is good to go again all right so having a Micro SD card is a major plus major major plus next now I already told y'all the speakers the speakers on the bottom not the best not trash but not the best okay not the best but I will say this if you if you get this phone now let me show you you plug in your headphones all right now these are the headphones that it came with these headphones sound great if you plug in your headphones let's go to settings real quick you see you got high- five now if you try to activate this now it won't work it'll only work with your headphones on once you plug your headphones in and you activate high-fi you're getting way better sound if you had a HTC M9 yall remember when you use boom sound it increases the Basse it it increases the treble it makes it a little bit louder this phone does the same thing now I'm not going to say you plug your headphones and you're going to get blown away like oh my God this is insane it's not you're not going to get blown off your feet okay but you will notice the difference now you using these headphones you'll notice the difference and they'll sound good but if you want to get the best effect get a nice set now I did this the other day I was using my monster 24 K get some audio technical get whatever you want get a nice set of quality headphones plug them in and turn on high-fi and then you might be blown off your feet with the monster 24 K with all that serious Bas I was I'm not going to say like I'm not going to say I was blown out of my shoes but I was highly impressed I think it sounded better than the HTC boom sound this one sounded a little bit better all right so the highi on this that's a win next let's talk about multitasking now this phone has real multitasking okay now I get into arguments with people all the time people with iPhones when I say that your iPhone doesn't have real multitasking this phone has real multitasking now let's talk about that real quick when I say multitasking I mean this all right let me show you what I mean by multitasking let's hit the button let's do dual Windows right so this is multitasking right here let's open up YouTube and let's open up Chrome at the same time okay so multitasking the word by definition means doing two tasks at the same time if you're at work and your boss tells you I need you to multitask I need you to make this phone call and check this email at the same time multitasking doesn't mean hitting that recently used apps button and going from one app hitting it back and going to the next that's not multitasking that's doing two things quickly that's the same as if you was on the phone and you put the phone down send the email pick the phone back up yeah what you doing put the phone back send that's some people might say that's multitasking but that's not real multitasking real multitasking is holding the phone in your hand and type in the email so while you're talking on the phone you type in the email you're doing two things at the same exact time and that's what you could do with this this is real multitasking so I could be watching a YouTube video and I could be on Amazon at the same time time so I'm watching a YouTube video and I'm on Amazon shopping at the same exact time that's multitasking okay and once you hit multitasking you got your same features you could swap them up and down you could uh excuse me you can open another app you hit that button you can resize it let's um let me get let me get out of there real quick you can resize this up and down so I got YouTube bigger got Amazon smaller on the top or you could just close it up open one or close one out all together right just like that let's sit back and now I'm back on Amazon all right so that's real multitasking the phone does it flawlessly no problems at all all right so I'm feeling that I need multitasking I can't be going back and forth I want to be on YouTube and now this is what people with iPhones do and they you know they want to debate with me all the time they on Amazon they want to go to YouTube then they click and go back to YouTube That's not multitasking I'm sorry okay it's really not next I'm sorry I just have I got I got to talk about this stuff all right next motions and Gestures all right now this phone does have your favorite LG gestures such as the double tap to open the screen okay you got that you got the um let's let's turn it back off if you double tap the power button that'll take you directly to your camera let's turn it back off one more time you double tap the top of the volume up button that'll take you to your memo go write a quick quick memo call Mike at three and you can save that you can share it do whatever you want write a quick memo you can double tap to turn the screen off and you still got your KN codes right now I love the KN codes even though once you get a fingerprint scanner you're probably not going to want to use that but the knock codes is just something that's fun when you want you know you set it up and you knock knock a different pattern to turn your phone on so you still got all your favorite LG motions and Gestures I'm glad they didn't take away none of that stuff doesn't cause any lag so why not keep it next let's talk about the UI now yall heard me say during the unboxing video that LG has one of my favorite UI it's crystal clear everything is smooth it's very user friendly if you even if you go to your like your smart bulletin everything in it has little directions little shows you how to use it if you a noob and you don't you never used any of this stuff before real easy to figure out I love all the icons I love how you can customize everything like let me show you without even having to root your phone it does have themes and all that you know that's pretty much standard nowadays everything got themes but check this out say I want to change the icon without downloading any icon packs or without you know doing nothing fancy say I want to change swarm I just hold it down and you see that little paintbrush that pops up I click on the paintbrush and now I have different icons that I can add right there or I can add new let's add new I can make my own icon all right so if I want to let's just see I go to uh let's go to capture say I want to guess who beat the Falcons this year all right that's a good one say I want to have that as my official I could um oh not not enough space all right well that's a that that's a swarm app but I made it too big all right I made it big but this is just one app let me let's let's try it again I made it gigantic let let me let make it more all right so say I want to do a Four Square app I want to change this to let's say say um this little weather icon let's H okay now 4 square is that weather icon and let me just show you now let's do YouTube If I want to make my own let's see let's add new let's try that again this time we'll we We'll add this one right here we'll add this little meme this guy right here and you see that's my new YouTube app all right so that was my first time playing with this one too I didn't know if you make it that big you make one big giant app that's kind of that that's kind of cool too I got to play with that I like that all right so very customizable even the buttons on the bottom now this is not the stock setup let me show you how to change that real quick you go to settings right you go to display go to home touch buttons now when you go to home touch buttons you can change the button combination all right so I could put the back button in the middle if I want it I could put the home button first I can have a multitask button I can have a notification button I don't really use that but if you want to you can have a notification button a dedicated button that you just press and it'll bring your notification bar down now ladies might use that cuz this is a big giant phone so if if you got small hands and it's hard for you to hold the phone and reach to the top have a little notification button down on the side you can also change the color from Black or White now I leave it on black since I got black backgrounds but depending on what color background you want you can change that and if you look how I change mine I got a back button I got one button that'll take me to automatic multitasking I got my home button now this right here this is one of my favorite buttons and one of my favorite parts of this LG UI and I show you why let's go on Instagram real quick let's um let's go home on Instagram let's find something real quick all right now say I want to get say I'm scrolling down my timeline and somebody got a funny meme that I really want all I got to do is press this button right here and this is going to do a quick screenshot right so let me wait for that like to go away all here we'll do it like this I'll press this button right here that'll do a quick screenshot so you see it opened up the note if I want I could write directly onto this or I hit that little square right here and I'll I'll resize this I just crop this just like this I hit share and share it right to Instagram now I can repost that Meme directly to Instagram now the only uh downside to that is you're using your finger now if you're using the Galaxy Note and you're using the S Pen you're going to be able to manipulate right to the little corner that you want you're going to be able to get a better you know uh crop out using your finger it's going to take a little bit more effort but you can still get the same kind of crop out but that's the button right there you just that's the way I got mine set up immediate screenshot just start writing on the screen crop paste share do whatever I want so I like that and I also got the recently used apps button okay now from here you could just get rid of each one you can activate your dual window or you could just clear them all out just like that so LG's UI straightforward really smooth highly customizable it's a win all right certified win let me just add something real quick right here because it's kind of messing up my vision there we go all right next we almost done fellas next the lag Factor now on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being 10 being zero lag at all and one being every time you scroll the phone lags every time you scroll that's one on a scale of 1 to 10 with lag Factor I'm giving this phone a 9 and a half all right now I've seen very very little close to no close to no lag only time I got a little bit of lag as you seen even just now when I when I set up that little app there was a little bit of Hiccup sometimes when you making uh changes to the phone and you making changes to the UI when you're adding custom icons and you're doing stuff it'll lag for a second but after that it's gone all right so I got it now this is another part of the UI you can change the you know you can change the transitions so I got it set on this fancy one look how nice that looks though remember before you had to root your phone to get all this kind of fancy stuff even if you downloaded Nova launch and all that it never you know Nova Launcher sometimes was was making your phone lag worse than what it was worth now all of this stuff is stock features and this is hot I so I got it set up like this that's part of LG's UI no lag at all so I would say 9.5 which will be the same as saying basically no lag no lag at all now I only been using the phone for maybe about a week and a half almost two weeks and like I said I've only seen it lag once or twice so once or twice is basically like saying no lag because you're talking about a gadget and especially a dude like me that um I got all these apps open at the same time you know I'm getting a, one notifications all day I got all of my email accounts I got everything built into this phone for it not to lag that 4 gigs of RAM and the way that LG found a way to you know increase the RAM management now some people say the Note 5 they don't like the RAM management but to be honest I haven't had any lag on my Note 5 either so Note 5 9.5 V10 9.5 on the lag Factor scale all right so no lag on this one thing also let me just mention about LG's UI one of my favorite things is their lock screens you see now I got it set to this U MO moic one but usually I use the soda pop lock screen let me see I think I got that on my G4 soda pop lock screen you hear the sound and you hear that like a fresh can of soda opening up and even when you close it you hear that little click love that you got that on the V10 too I just been lately I've been using this Mosaic one this one has sound to it too I got the sound off this is that's this part of LG's UI very fun very customizable you're going to have a good time with next last but not least the floss Factor right now if you never seen my video before and you know know what the floss fact is that means when you got your V10 and you pull it out and you're sitting at a bar you're sitting at a restaurant you're sitting with your boys and this is what this is one that's going to come into play the most when you're at work and with your when you with your boys all of the iPhone uh iPhone Fanboys and all of your boys that got note 5s and S6 Edge pluses and whatever phone you got when you pull out your V10 are you sitting on top of the food chain or do you have to put your phone back in your pocket cuz somebody got a note 5 on Deck then you got to wait for them to leave and then now you the man again okay so when you're walking around with the V10 are you a heavy hitter are you considered that dude when it comes to the tech you know what's your status all right so floss Factor on this on the scale of 1 to 10 10 being you know off of the charts I would give this I would give this a nine all right I give this a nine On The Floss Factor first of all it's brand new so if you got this one right here no nobody got it yet so yeah you'll be sitting heavy but when it does come out people going to have it you will be able to get the herbane 2 watch so you will be able to have a nice match and watch that's going to increase the level a little bit more but the main thing that's taken away from this is the rubber back that's taken a little bit away from the floss fact on this the rubber back because when somebody pulls out that note and yall both Rock a no case the note just looks a little bit better and if somebody pulls out at 6 Edge Plus with this gold back GL listening in the sun look at it for yourself which one just looks better now we're not talking about when I come to when it when I talk about fla Factor we not talking about which phone works better we're just talking about which one just has that look now I know some some of yall don't care about that but some people do some people a phone is is not only just a phone but it's your it's part of your fashion that's why a lot of people go out and get the rose gold iPhone with the rose gold watch and all that it's not just about the phone it's the fashion and you you know you want to get them compliments you want to be known as that dude when I pull out my S6 Edge Plus with no case all right if I want to Blind you all I got to do is wait till the Sun reflect at a certain angle hit it at a 37° angle and I can literally blind you all right so nothing is beating the S6 Edge Plus when it comes to the floss Factor this is the best looking and feeling phone to me on the market right now with the curv display when you hold this phone in your hand it's the best looking and feeling phone right now on the market second to that is the Note 5 and now a lot of L of people not a fan of the glass backs and all that they say it's a little more fragile but if you don't got butter fingers you're not really worried about that or if you got insurance in your phone then you're not worried about that either if you just want to pay 800 you know 750 800 850 900 for a phone and you want that premium build and you're going to hold it and you want to feel it yeah then note series all day don't get me wrong though this is this is right there this is right behind that this has a great look and feel to it 10 times better than the G4 even the G4 with the leather back now with the leatherback G4 floss factor I would still I probably go with the leather back this one probably might take a little bit more time to grow me but one thing that's good about this one is it does have a removable back so hopefully some aftermarket companies will come out with some different kind of backs that you could choose from maybe some leather backs maybe a a a solid metal Snap-on back who knows but the the options are there just right now nothing I I've been browsing around I didn't see nothing yet but they'll probably come out with a nice leather back and that will increase the floss factor to this through the roof now one thing I forgot to mention this phone does have fast charge okay so no Wireless charge that's a probably a little downfall for me but it does have fast charge so with the provided cable that came in the Box I was able to charge this phone from completely zero completely shut off zero it took 72 minutes I had a little timer setup it took me 72 minutes so that's just about a little more than an hour to charge from 0o to 100% all right so 70 to 72 minutes so fast charge on this does work now everybody's going to ask me what's my favorite phone out right now I already told y the G the the the V10 is probably the best allaround phone that you could get if you was getting ready to go out and buy a G4 do not do it now if you already got a G4 you don't have to R you know run and trade it in and go get this one because basically it's not too much upgrades you're basically getting the better front-facing camera the dual cameras you're getting that extra screen on the top which is a big deal you're getting more controls with the video camera and and the steel picture camera you're getting more options and more features to play with if you don't use that then who cares other than that for point and shoot basically the same camera you're getting a Better Built phone okay so if you already got a G4 you might as well just keep it but if you was about to buy a G4 do not do it wait and get a V10 then again let's wait for the price tooo because if the G4 is going to run you 700 and this one's going to run you 900 it might not it might not be it might not be worth it for you to spend an extra $200 for those little bit of features now I'm pretty sure there's going to be if you root your phones and all that they'll have some way to add that little secondary window as a rooted as a rooted UI I'm pretty sure even though it's going to make your your your standard screen a little bit smaller if you root it and add a secondary screen it's going to make it a little bit smaller but if that's something that looks appealing to you which is definitely appealing to me if I was getting ready to buy a G4 right now I would definitely wait and get a V10 now what's my favorite phone on the market right now my number one top dog heavy hitter phone it's still the Note 5 it's still a note 5 I know there's no IR Blaster there's no removable battery there's no micro SD card expandable memory I know this but for me it's all about the S Pen all right now if the V10 had a S Pen if the V10 had wireless charging and the S Pen I would go on record right now and say without a doubt it's the best phone on the planet without a doubt it has everything but for me like I said I got I already spent too much money on all of these Wireless charges I got them placed everywhere I got one in the bathroom I got them placed everywhere so when I go when whever I'm at I can just put my phone down for a minute and I'm always I'm always charging up I need that feature now when the V10 comes out with the slim Power Cards and all that we'll play with that and we'll see how how it works and we'll see if it charges is fast or not but the main thing that's that's making me keep my Note 5 as my number one heavy hitter is the S Pen and let me show you one of the features I use with my Spen the most the same way I showed y'all on Instagram just now all right so say let me scroll let's scroll on Instagram let's see if we can find something all right look all right so let's say I got this meme right here and y'all know if y'all watch my Instagram memes is what I do all right let me show you how I how I do the memes real quick I go in smart select I use my S S Pen and with the S Pen you could get a better better crop so I crop it just like that I hit share let me go let me take it right to Instagram did I click it let's go right to Instagram and now I can just hit this right on Instagram right now I did it I did it slow right now cuz I'm behind the camera but and you know real life day-to-day action I'm doing that all day quickly and especially now if y'all I don't know how many of y'all on Facebook but if you're on Facebook are you one of those kind of people that when y when you're in the comment section do you like to leave a picture comment or do you like to leave you know word comments people tagging me on Facebook videos and pictures all day long I never leave comments I like to leave memes or I like to just you know whatever whatever the topic is if I just want to have somebody laughing I quickly Google Google picture of a man laughing and I pull out my S Pen I do the crop and and upload it just like that once you get the hang of doing that with the S Pen it's going to be hard to do it with your V10 with your finger it's going to be a little bit tricky trying to get to that little corner with the S Pen that that's the S Pen is the main reason why the Note 5 will always be my top phone so my order right now will be Note 5 V10 and then S6 Edge Plus then after that we'll get the Nexus and we'll get the you know or iPhone 6 and we we'll fool around but right now these are the three top dogs on the market right now and the V10 might be the best all around but if you don't care about the Spen you'll never use it then you want to get a V10 all right so the purpose of this video now the video is over the purpose of this video is just a this is just a review from my personal opinion right everything I said right here is Up For Debate nothing is facts some people going to say they got 6 hours out of battery life some people going to say they got 7 hours whatever some people going to say they love the rubber back some people are going to say oh check out this drop test video and all that look I'm just giving you my personal opinion the whole point of this video is to help you when you're getting ready to spend your hard-earned money on a new phone so take everything I said put it in consideration and to go watch another 20 different videos and if you see everybody saying that the battery is trash then chances are it's trash if I'm saying it's trash and the next 20 people saying they love the battery then maybe I don't know what I'm talking
