**The Rival Console: A Sega Master System Revival?**
Hey guys, let's talk about the rival console that's been making waves lately. You know, the one that could have potentially filled the entire library on it? I mean, can you imagine having almost all the classic games from the original Master System era, revamped and released in HD? That sounds like an amazing deal to me, especially for a price tag of $200-$300.
Unfortunately, it seems like the rival console is actually going to be a Sony product, battling Nintendo directly. And get this - they're copying the Nintendo style video campaign! I love it, just like the song says. Let's check out the video and see what we can assume about this machine.
**Original Game Pads and Classic Games**
Whoa, hold on a second... did I just see that they're using the original game pads? I respect that; it's cool to have games that didn't require analog sticks. So, one of the games is definitely Tekken 3 - you gotta have a key fighting game for that era, right?
The system will be HDMI-compatible, and the actual power source is not just USB but actually USB-C! That's neat, and it shows they're using the newest standard. We also knew we'd get a Final Fantasy title on this console, and sure enough, it's Final Fantasy 7.
**Other Games Confirmed**
Ridge Racer 4 is included, which I would have preferred was the original Ridge Racer that actually got me hooked on playing this console. The other games are Tekken 3, Ridge Racer 4, Jump Flash (which I've never heard of but might be a great game), and Wild Arms.
I'm guessing this lineup isn't bad, but for the price tag, they better have some more exciting games to back it up. Let's assume there will be at least 15 more games on this console, or else it won't be worth it.
**Controller Ports and Modding**
One thing that caught my eye was that the controller ports are actually USB ports! That opens it up for a lot of possibilities - maybe we'll see DualShock controllers coming out in the future. But will it be modifiable? Well, that's not my decision to make, but I'm all for it if I can play my favorite PlayStation games on here in HD.
