NINTENDO N64 22 Years Old & My 5 Games.. The Last Game Hunter
The N64 Has Turned 22: A Personal Look at My Top 5 Games
Wow way too many birthdays lately first the lovely Genesis turned 29 then I turned 12 and now the n64 has turned 22 years old in North America, guys welcome to another episode of the Last Game Hunter, I'm your host Paul, and the n64 has turned 22 years old.
A Little History with the N64
-------------------------
I wasn't a fan of this machine when it came out, it wasn't a system that I grew up with and played a lot of. However, I did play it in its era, but only at my friend's house, I never owned this machine until I got around 38 years old.
My Top 5 Games
----------------
I'm gonna do a video on this unit and it was hard because I have no nostalgia for this machine, but I do have a few games that stood out to me. Let's check them out.
Number 5 Game: Kirby 64
------------------------
My number 5 game is the Kirby 64 cartridge, which is Japanese. It was my number 5. I had a hard time finding it, and I think about a year ago, I was at a flea market, and the guy had it in Japanese with a changed back cover so I could play it on my North American N64.
Number 4 Game: Donkey Kong 64
-----------------------------
My number 4 game is Donkey Kong 64. I played a lot more of this game on the Super NES, which made me want to play it on this console. The only way I did get to play it was again at my friend's house.
Number 3 Game: Goldeneye 007
---------------------------
My number 3 game is Goldeneye 007 in my top 5. It's a boxed game that I have, and the rest of my games are loose. My top 5 is very different from what you guys would expect to see in a top 5.
Other Games
-------------
I don't know if you guys will think my number one game, Cruis'n USA, is a good number one. But it's definitely my number one, and I played a ton of this game on the N64. It was just a right game for this platform.
Conclusion
----------
That's my top 5 games for the N64, guys. I kind of wished the machine had a little more nostalgia to me, but in this era, I was more Sega Saturn than PlayStation. The machine did not have a spot in my growing up, except going over to someone's house and playing well that's pretty cool.
