The EV Neo Ep9: A Beast of Chinese Design
The EV Neo ep9 is an absolute beast of a car, with its electric performance capabilities making it one of the most impressive vehicles from China. The name "ep9" stands for Electric Performance Nine, where 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and now a mystery number. This technology was developed by a company based out of Beijing, which took only 18 months to develop the ep9 from start to finish. The electric motors on this car spit out an impressive 335 horsepower each, with four of them resulting in a maximum output of 1360 horsepower.
One of the most impressive things about the EV Neo ep9 is its performance capabilities at the Nurburgring. It's able to complete laps in under seven minutes, which is incredibly fast and speaks for itself when it comes to the car's abilities. Not only can it complete a lap in record time, but it can also pull three lateral Gs in turns, which is absolutely insane. The car's top speed is 217 miles per hour at 150 miles per hour, and it produces over 5,000 pounds of downforce.
The EV Neo ep9 has another impressive feature: its DRS system, similar to an F1 car. This system allows the car to produce even more power when needed, making it one of the most advanced vehicles on the market. The price for this beast of a car? A whopping $4.8 million dollars, or 740 Chang Lis.
The Hong Chi S9: A Futuristic Sleek Coupe
Next up is the Hong Chi S9, which debuted in 2019 and has been making waves ever since. This car is an incredible futuristic sleek coupe that boasts staggering numbers. The S9 is powered by a hybrid system that uses a twin-turbocharged 4-liter V8 with three electric motors to produce an astonishing 1381 horsepower. Yes, you read that right - over 1300 horsepower!
But what really sets the Hong Chi S9 apart from other cars on the market is its design. The company teamed up with Italian design house Silk EV and called on the talents of renowned designer Walter de Silva, who has worked on projects like the Audi S5 and R8, as well as the 2006 Lamborghini Miura concept. The result is a car that's both performance-oriented and stylishly designed.
The Hong Chi S9 features incredibly bolstered racing seats, headlights shaped like NACA ducks, and can do 0-60 in just 1.9 seconds. It tops out at over 250 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest cars on the market. And with a price tag of only $1.5 million dollars - or 750 Chang Lis - this car is an absolute steal.
The Carlman King: The King of Chinese Cars
Last but certainly not least is the Carlman King, which is arguably the king of Chinese cars. This massive armor-clad SUV was designed in China but built in Italy and based on an American chassis and engine. It's basically the GTA version of the Respa Tank, with a Ford F-550 chassis and a 6.8-liter Ford Triton V10.
The Carlman King comes with an incredible array of features that will make you feel like royalty. There's a fold-out TV, a mini fridge, motorized pop-out tables, and even a Nespresso machine - because why not? But the real pièce de résistance is the armor plating on the outside. Yes, you read that right - this car comes with actual armor plating to help protect it from nuclear bombs.
But at what cost? The Carlman King's price tag is an eye-watering 2,000 Chang Lis or $3.8 million dollars. That's a lot of cash for something that can be driven into the ground by a well-placed rocket-propelled grenade. Still, if you're looking to make a statement and own one of the most extreme cars on the market, then this is the car for you.
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis is my two thousand dollar Chinese pickup truck the Chang Lee Explorer my town is known for making some pretty cheap stuff but did you know that there's a company in China that makes a car that's almost four million dollars well today we're gonna look at the 10 most expensive cars that come out of China that you can buy today welcome to Donut now the first car we're going to talk about comes from a company called dong Feng now dongfang is basically like the GM of China their state-run company like most automakers from China and last year alone they made over 4 million cars I've never even heard of these guys so that's kind of crazy and their most expensive one is this the warrior M50 this is basically the daddy of our Chang Li right here some have referred to it as China's Hummer because it looks just like a Hummer it's big it's super wide and it loves the off-road and it's actually pretty cool it's got a manual transmission single cab long bed Hummer look-alike that's got three wiper blades it's a body on frame truck that's powered by a 4-liter dongfang Cummins turbo diesel that's right dongfang and Cummins actually collaborated on making this engine and it makes a blistering 200 horsepower and 443 foot-pounds of torque now because of its weird proportions and short snub nose Hood it allows for an approach angle of an insane 70 degrees and it also has 16 inches of ground clearance so you can dip into about 47 inches of water without flooding your Chinese slash American engine the on-road driving is a little bit of a different experience obviously apparently the M50 tops out at 75 miles an hour but like I said it comes with either a 5-speed or six-speed manual transmission the dongfang warrior M50 costs 51.5 times what the chain Glee cost coming in at a hundred and three thousand US dollars but is it 51.5 times better than the Chang Lee yeah yes it is okay so that's pretty expensive for a Chinese car but this next car is even more expensive that's the Paradigm of this video this is how this thing works we're gonna keep ratcheting up the price now you're going to be hearing the name of this company at least a couple more times and that is Hong Chi they're the second oldest Chinese car company dating back to 1959. now historically they're known for making massive cars used to chauffeur around foreign dignitaries and head to State and just recently they've been dipping their toes into the electrical pool enter the Hong Chi EHS 9. this massive seven-seater SUV with a grill of a Lincoln Navigator mixed with a Rolls-Royce cullinan in the butt of a Volvo mixed with an X5 and that's something you're actually going to notice with all of these cars they're familiar yet unrecognizable like Grand Theft Auto cars all designed by Ai and that's because China doesn't have the same copyright laws that other countries do so car makers can totally rip off design and get away with it if you actually want to know more about that check out this episode of wheelhouse now the ehs9 is capable of 543 horsepower thanks to two electric motors and at nearly 6 000 pounds is a heavy pick but it can still scoot to 60 miles an hour in 5 seconds and the interior looks luxurious of course but it better be pretty nice because you're shelling out a hundred and fourteen thousand dollars for this thing or 57 Chang Lis the next most expensive car is the shiantu k50 now this is an electric sports car with figures that rival Tesla's model 3. we'll start off with what's good about it it's got 29 carbon fiber body panels and all of them weigh Collective 103 pounds that's a quarter Nolan now the space frame aluminum body weighs only 516 pounds that's a half no one it looks like if re-mac Nevada had a baby with a Conan sag with a lot less power 376 were horsepower to be exact but it also has a boost feature that juices that up to 430 horsepower for 10 seconds at a time allowing you go 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds John 2 is using this model to gauge whether it has a chance in the US market and they've already teamed up with American manufacturer Mullen to bring the model to the US Rebrand it as the Mullen GT and all in all the Sean 2 k50 clocks in at 125 000 USD dollars baby 62 and a half times the cost of our beautiful changley so that brings us to our next car the byd Yang Wang u9 now byd is a massive automaker that is pushing the boundaries of hybrid and electric cars with their brand Yang Wang a Yang Wang has a few new cars in the lineup that are not only expensive but they also perform alongside some of the best in the world one of those is the brand new u9 so this is a hyper car that has an electric motor at each wheel producing over a thousand horsepower power the claim 0-60 time is less than two seconds but that's not even the most interesting part of this car the most interesting thing about the u9 is that it uses byd's dicest suspension technology which allows the car to raise lower dance hop even run on three wheels if it needs to but you know what it doesn't have dump bed and all of this can be had for a tidy sum of a hundred and fifty thousand dollars or the equivalent 75 changles I want the Yang rang u9 any car that you can drive on three rails and do like a little bit of an ollie hell yeah I'm all about that life love the Chang Lis but none of these can ollie now Yang Wang also has the next spot on this list with the u8 now let's just say it's good that China is very relaxed about copyright laws because it looks suspiciously familiar to the Land Rover Defender but instead of petrol this guy runs on Zeus juice it's the same electric motors as the u9 for a total of 1100 horsepower and there are two different trim levels the premium and the off-road Master Edition which comes with a gnarly snorkel and a rooftop carrier now why does electric car need a snorkel is it safe to submerge your electric car in water I don't know it costs a lot of money it's a hundred and sixty thousand dollars which makes it the most expensive byd car you can buy but the real question is would I rather have this or 80 Chang Lee's and speaking of our beloved shangly we're actually in the process of upgrading it I won't say what we're doing just yet but we have a lot more playing with this sucker so make sure you hit that subscribe button so you don't miss it now the next car on the list is not from a Chinese company okay but it is built and sold exclusively for the Chinese market yeah I'm talking about the Audi A8L horse well now one fun fact about Audi the founder August had a car company called porch until he was forced out by the board of directors so horch means listen in old German and Audi means the same thing in Latin a guy really wanted to make sure that you listened to him the A8L horch is a tribute to the Brand's founder and was developed to compete with Maybach which is apparently very popular in China the ultra luxurious porch is even nicer than the already top of the range A8 and the wheelbase is 11 inches longer than the standard A8 allowing for extra leg room in the back seat or for tall guys like me that'd be cool I want 11 extra inches you can see from the pitchers just how closely it resembles a Maybach back seat with quilted leather freaking butt pillows the Audi A8L horse will set you back 246 thousand dollars for 123 Chang Lis and the next most expensive Chinese car is almost three times as expensive as the last I'm talking about the hongchi L5 now this car is legitimately sick it's a huge VIP retro futuristic sedan meant for hauling around ambassadors and the like now option with either a 4 liter twin turbo V8 making 381 horsepower or 6 liter V12 that makes 408 horsepower the hongshi L5 definitely should be fast but it weighs 6 900 pounds pretty nice number of pounds but not great number of pounds if you want to go fast so just like the horse it's not meant to go super fast it's meant to be comfortable for someone whoever that person is riding in the back seat some of the Creature Comforts in the interior of the first gen include a Rosewood Dash and Jade inserts on the door handles now Jade signifies nobility and wealth in Chinese culture just in case you didn't get that from the price tag of 830 000 or 415 Chang Lis we're starting to get crazy here it's getting crazy quick but I'm sick of these slow luxury cars let's crank up the catch up and get serious the next car is called Arc Fox GT which is probably the sickest name we've had so far Arc Fox it's an electric hyper car that has the stylings of a Bugatti Corvette and the performance of an Audi R8 The Arc Fox is the performance division of the Beijing Automotive holder company which is basically like the Chrysler of China The Arc Fox division has headquarters near the circuit of Catalina outside of Barcelona where they test their cars now the GT is Arc Fox's crowning achievement combined all electric motors make 1600 horsepower to the wheels but despite all that power you might be surprised that it only does 0 to 60 and 2.59 seconds and tops out at 158 miles per hour but the model S plat is heavier has less horsepower and goes 0 to 60 in less than two seconds so the numbers they'll totally add up but I will say the arc Fox GT it's still in development phase so maybe they're going to figure that out or they're just lying to us regardless it's rumored to cost as much as 500 Chang Lis which makes this the first million dollar car on the list the next car set a lap record at the Nurburgring back in 2017 with a blistering time of six minutes 45.9 seconds you know how when you go so fast you get blisters well that's what happened and rightfully so because the next EV Neo ep9 he was driving is an absolute Beast now next EV a company based out of Beijing took only 18 months from start to finish to develop the ep9 which stands for electric performance nine where's one two three four five six seven eight I don't know now some of the technology they used was based off their formula e-car including the electric motors would spit out 335 horsepower each and the ep9 it's got four of them resulting in a Max output of 1360 horsepower now there are only been 16 ep9s manufactured since it debuted a few years ago and none of them are street legal and this is one of the only hyper cars from China that we've actually seen tested and the Nurburgring records speaks for itself anytime you can do the Nurburgring in under seven minutes that's pretty freaking sick man but it's not just the Nord schleife record that's impressive it can pull three lateral G's in turns that's freaking insane it has a top speed of 217 miles per hour at 150 miles per hour it can produce over 5 000 pounds of downforce it even has a DRS system like an F1 car and you'll pay a blister popping price for the Neo ep9 if you ever get a chance to buy one they cost point four eight million dollars which is 740 Chang Lis that is a lot of Chang Lee's I could drive a changley a day and crash it total it drive it off a bridge and I could do that for two years straight but our second most expensive car is a familiar name we've heard on this list already Hong Chi debuting in 2019 the S9 is an incredible futuristic Sleek Coupe that has some staggering numbers for one it's powered by a hybrid system that uses a twin turbocharged 4-liter V8 with three electric motors to produce an incredible 1381 Zeus ponies you don't need that much because you guys can't control it if you think you can control 1300 horsepower freaking come find me and say it to my face now the coolest thing about the S9 is that to design it hongchi teamed up with Italian design house silk EV and called on the talents of Walter de Silva a designer responsible for the Audi S5 and R8 and also the 2006 Lamborghini Miura concept the team put an emphasis on making performance in style meld like one of those dressage horses with features like insanely bolstered racing seats and headlights that are shaped like NACA ducks and this thing can do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and tops out at over 250 miles an hour so you can go ahead and pick you up an S9 for only one and a half million bones of course 750 changles and now we finally made it we're on the last car on our list and it's definitely the king of Chinese cars because it's called The carlman King now carlman King might not sound like a very Chinese name it's not and the truth is it's not that Chinese of a car it's a massive armor-clad SUV that was designed in China but built in Italy and based on an American chassis and engine it's basically the GTA version of the resvani tank now utilizing a Ford F-550 chassis and a 6.8 liter Ford Triton V10 the carlman king serves coffee as you escape a nuclear bomb and speaking of nuclear bombs you can actually get armor plating on the outside which puts the total weight to over 13 000 pounds meaning you won't be driving away from the blast very fast the maxed out calm and King cost about 2 000 Chang Lis or 3.8 million dollars a price fit for Carlton uh thank you guys so much for watching this video everything else at
