I'm just sending a text message. I like, I will say though, I'm way more responsive with this whole iPad thing. Like, I usually pull out my phone and respond to texts in my head and put it away. But this is like, oh wait, hold on, I got it, I got to do this all right guys. So, so far, success. Anything that we would have wanted to do on our phones, we were able to do on this iPad. A little cumbersome, just a little bit.

When it comes to entertainment watching content, this is my favorite way to watch stuff besides usually like an actual TV. One thing that's nice is this magic keyboard makes it kind of easy to just get that perfect angle. No challenge here.

We can actually use the Facetime menu to make calls, let's see, random number oh, so I could type in a phone number here this is a random phone number and then I can just hit audio and that can make a call hello are you still recording? Yeah, you're on right now oh uh oh well um, can you come outside oh yeah, I actually hit your car. Yeah, in my car, a deer was coming and I accidentally hit your car, swear on my life.

Do you want me to heat up his food or do you want me to get the baby? It takes 30 seconds what do you mean, what happened? I just I we just got off the phone so I could find out where the meatballs were. Don't know how to do anything don't worry, I'll carry the bag and hold the baby. I'll come and get the baby then you heat up the food.

I like how the center stage has been working this whole time. Jay all right, bye she's a clown all right guys. So, I feel like we're pretty done with the day it wasn't too bad this is able to do just about everything I anticipated. I feel like the only real challenge was not having dedicated iPad apps for certain applications uh but for the most part, I was able to pretty much do anything that I would typically do in a day on the iPad.

Even being able to take calls from just like too fast hey what's up game five yeah but yeah, I was able to pretty much do everything I needed to make phone calls text messages there were no roadblocks. Everything was able to get done, and we know that the iPad with M1 is powerful enough to do even more than I showed today beyond photo editing if we want to do some video editing we were we'd be able to do that we've shown it in the past that this thing is very very capable.

What's really cool about the M1 chip though not only does it bring that extra power, so you can do all kinds of professional work but like guys we've got 65 battery left and that's like you know a full day of usage like I've been on this thing more than I've been in a long long time and we still got 65 battery left. So, that's really really impressive and that's where the M1 really shines it's really efficient right.

He agrees yes awesome no oh do I throw it away then it was super bulky when taking it outside or even doing things in the house pulling this out instead of like a smartphone there's a big difference there and I think the only other thing are like not having certain apps be iPad apps but aside from that easy challenge it wasn't as bad as the Apple Watch. white one right now i would typically be on my phone doing emails but on an ipad i'm the kind of guy who prefers to do emails on a computer anyway and while the ipad is not like a standard laptop the gmail app works really well on here so responding to emails and whatnot is gonna be a cakewalk oh interesting so you know it's one thing jay there's no phone app if i wanted to call let's say you j i could just go into our chat and hit audio no because it's not doing the facetime audio ring you got wi-fi calling on oh i got it i said it before this place is like a dead zone so if you don't have wi-fi calling on and you're not relying on that wi-fi you're not communicating with anyone in this house but anyway i digress all right so we have our solution i don't think i'm gonna have to call anyone that isn't in my messages app let's see all right so i got my green bubble guy over here jared let me see i'm going to cold call him if we even get a voicemail that means it works if you reach the voicemail with jared so we're good so yeah if you have them in your messages then you'll be okay okay you know what's great is that i can also send text messages like green bubble text messages like sms straight up and that's a feature that you have to actually enable on your iphone so you'd have to go into your iphone and set which devices are allowed to actually send sms i'm actually about to text marquez he's a green bubble friend and it's okay we're not judging over here marquez loves android we get it everybody's welcome oh jared's calling me back yo yo what's going on man i got you on a video right now just so you know what can i do for you my friend that that's it actually i was just testing something g but we do we do need to talk though i got plans man cave plans you guys but just saw that i got a delivery and as you can see over here guys i kind of talked about this on the twitch streams we got the gundam edition parts from asus so we got a ton of gear here but i need to make sure that we actually have everything that's supposed to be here so i'm going to look up to see if there are like any parts missing okay let's see this is their site but you know what i do like jay we're not getting like a mobile website here we have everything laid out very nice and clear for us right here and being able to interact with it like a proper desktop site but yeah that's a nice bonus so they got gundam they got zaku i don't think we got the fans no way no way we're missing the fans we have everything but the fans but either way we'll figure that out i gotta say instead of doing like a quick google search with my phone having to bring the ipad around it's it's a lot jay oh yeah don't mind the sea of packages here don't mind the mess you guys know us we get a lot of packages you ready to put them down for a nap arie yeah let me go help her out all right guys now you know something like this comes in i'm gonna be hyped for the folks who probably haven't seen the video or actually i'll be teasing this before this video comes out so it doesn't matter but i'm gonna do a little teaser and i figure i'll use the ipad since i don't have my phone hmm okay let's see what we can do maybe i can switch it up a bit um this is good enough for social media oh all right we could take it into a video yeah we get to get into a lightroom and do some photo editing and you know it's crazy i haven't been like we're taking this for social media but i haven't been on social media all day that's very unlike me you guys because when i'm on my phone i got ig ready locked and loaded and twitter i've been way more productive though i've been responding to things more quickly and i'm not saying like oh do this leave your phone behind and take your ipad only places but for me it's having a pretty positive impact so i kind of i kind of like it all right lightroom okay so we did a few quick edits i think it's a nice little difference so let's post this up on instagram and this is a shame you guys the fact that instagram does not have a dedicated ipad app like it is 2021 like this is ridiculous why am i i have to hold like come on now okay so we post it up on instagram listen using instagram on this is not fun i don't see myself opening this app throughout the rest of this day oh twitter you see this is a good this is good twitter has a legitimate ipad app but okay that wasn't terrible you know the the picture quality it's fine uh we got it on instagram though so we're okay but i feel like that's enough with the gundam stuff we gotta put this gundam stuff away until we get the fan jay and then we will work on this video but i am so so excited this is ah thing of beauty all right guys so jay knows this but i am absolutely horrible when it comes to remembering where i placed my keys or my wallet but both my wallet and my keys have air tags attached to them so let's see can we okay we can make it ring but we can't use like precision tracking all right at least i can follow the sound that's what i'm used to anyway i'm not gonna lie it's a little cumbersome having to hold the whole ipad and just hit the play sound button you hear that yeah i'll find it i should be able to i don't know if i i don't know if i have the app i mean i should she's gonna make me test out something unnecessary jay but we gotta do it okay i do have the app here i gotta log in uh it's one of those i those uh iphone apps it's like completely sideways controls let's do unlock the car yeah yeah yeah now we're good man let me see can we do the the trunk yeah ipad and tesla it works it works alright guys so right now we're about to go to a camera store unique photo one of my favorite spots did i really leave my phone at home oh snap i actually left it at home this is actually really scary i wanted the phone to be here for backup but i didn't expect to actually leave it oh you know the ipad is good this thing has mobile data and it has up to 5g speeds i don't think we're not getting no 5g right now it's lte but still we're good wait hold on can i call her can i call her normally hello okay cool we're just testing the ipad to see if we can uh give you a call if we need to all right so we're going into the camera store if you need me the ipad will ring okay all right bye oh man a bug just flew into the keyboard look at that jay you see him with the right razor keyboard if i imagine if i closed this without looking it would have smashed it in ah and we're clear you know what we're here for jay everything i love it oh this is that like racing drone right oh hold on you see this is crazy i'm getting notifications and i can't ignore them like typically if i heard a notification from my ipad i'm whatever but now because i don't have my phone every little beep i have to like pop this out and take a look this one was nothing but i can't ignore it now all right jay but off to what we actually need here listen jay and i just needed to get out the house okay we just wanted to do something and we like cameras so we're here you see i'm a sucker for this kind of stuff jay bag of doritos a capri sun and some gum snack pack oh let me how i'll just leave behind my ipad where is it right here oh come on man i like i get maybe putting down your phone and walking away from it but your ipad come on i love this brand too like i have one of these and then you just put like a ton of camera gear and stuff it's dope let's go dang i can't just put this in my pocket this is kind of crazy this is where the challenge part of the video comes in going out with this and not being able to just like leave it in the car or something is kind of crazy all right got a text message this is all hilarious yeah i'm just a tech it seems like i'm doing something really official like an email right just sending a text message i like i will say though i'm way more responsive with this whole ipad like i usually pull out my phone like i see the text message respond in my head put it away but this is like oh wait hold on i got it i got to do this all right guys so so far success anything that we would have wanted to do on our phones we were able to do on this ipad a little cumbersome so a little day just just a little bit all right what's going on cookie we're back home we're back home don't you worry all right guys so now we are just pretty much going to wait for arie to get back home she left too so i'm gonna watch some youtube yeah i gotta see what my man shannon sharp says about the lakers getting blown out yesterday by like 30 points that's that's one thing though when it comes to entertainment watching content this is my my favorite way to watch stuff besides usually like an actual tv one thing that's nice is this magic keyboard makes it kind of easy to just get that perfect angle no challenge here this is not part of the challenge this is just easy hey are you home yeah we just got back home i'm actually just watching something waiting for you can you um uh dinner all right i'll heat up his dinner no problem it's a loud speakerphone all right no they only got these there's no earpiece to it so can't do that yeah that's a good point jay like there's no privacy if you don't have uh your phone it's just straight up speakers so jay that's one thing too we can actually use the facetime menu to make calls let's see random number oh so i could type in a phone number here this is a random phone number and then i can just hit audio and that can make a call hello are you still recording yeah you're on right now oh uh oh well um can you come outside oh yeah i actually hit your car yeah in my car a deer was coming and i accidentally hit your car swear on my life do you want me to heat up his food or do you want me to get the baby it takes 30 seconds what do you mean what happened i just i we just got off the phone so i could find out where the meatballs were don't know how to do anything don't worry i'll carry the bag and hold the baby i'll come and get the baby then you heat up the food i like how the center stage has been working this whole time jay all right bye she's a clown all right guys so i feel like we're pretty done with the day it wasn't too bad this is able to do just about everything i anticipated i feel like the only real challenge was not having dedicated ipad apps for certain applications uh but for the most part i was able to pretty much do anything that i would typically do in a day on the ipad even being able to take calls from just like too fast hey what's up game five yeah but yeah i was able to pretty much do everything i needed to make phone calls text messages there were no roadblocks everything was able to get done and we know that the ipad with m1 is powerful enough to do even more than i showed today beyond photo editing if we want to do some video editing we were we'd be able to do that we've shown it in the past that this thing is very very capable what's really cool about the m1 chip though not only does it bring that extra power so you can do all kinds of professional work but like guys we've got 65 battery left and that's like you know a full day of usage like i've been on this thing more than i've been in a long long time and we still got 65 battery left so that's really really impressive and that's where the m1 really shines it's really efficient right he agrees yes awesome no oh do i throw it away then it was super bulky when taking it outside or even doing things in the house pulling this out instead of like a smartphone there's a big difference there and i think the only other thing are like not having certain apps be ipad apps but aside from that easy challenge it wasn't as bad as the apple watch apple watch was no joke that
